An up date on this Burger King… It’s gone! And a Chic-Fil-A was rebuilt in its place. The once proud King that touted«Have It Your Way» then tried to charge me an extra 5 cents for mayonnaise went belly up because of their bad service and bad attitudes. Not that all BKs are bad. My Mom used to loVe their Whoppers and we would have them together. But to think you’re so smug to charge for a swipe of mayo shows the end is near. And it was. Leveled to the ground, the new restaurant was built from scratch. Still… I wish it was an El Pollo Loco !!!

I’ve been through a lot of fast food drive throughs in my life and this Burger King takes the award for non-customer service behavior. I’ve sworn off eating at BK as a result. About 2 months, I went through the drive through at the Mowry BK. Like usual, I asked for some bbq sauce as I like to add that to my burger. The hispanic employee working the drive through told me I would have to pay the bbq sauce. He said that because I did not order fries or a drink, he could not give me a pkg of bbq sauce. I was like, what? This is the 1st time this has ever happened. How much does that little pkt of bbq sauce cost. It was in the back of mind &2 weeks later when I drove down Mowry again, I went into that BK& told the manager what had happened. He asked who it was & when it happened & said he knew who I was referring to when I said it was a hispanic guy. The other BK, the one in Union City, is a diff story. The manager that worked the drive through there months earlier had given me the requested bbq sauce. He told me that if I wanted bbq sauce to ask for it when I ordered & it would be put in my order. I’ve been weaning myself off burgers with all the stories @ pink slime in hamburger meat & burgers being unhealthy fast food in general. Thanks to this 1 situation, I have cut burgers out of my diet & am much better health-wise for that. Still for the people who do buy burgers from the Newark BK, beware! Their customer service is dismal. They also skimp on the fillings compared to other Burger Kings.

I am staying in Fremont visiting family. I arrived at my hotel around 8:00 at night, hungry because I had not eaten since lunch, and Burger King was down the street. Service was fast, but all of my food was cold and pretty much inedible. Will not be eating here on future visits.

I had seen the ad for the new menu items and I love pulled pork. So I ordered the pull pork sandwich. When I opened it and saw only white goop and onions with a thread or two of pulled pork in it, There should have been some meat too with red BBQ sauce. I showed it to my wife who said«They forgot the pulled pork.» I thought it was a mistake and took it back to show them. I expected them to apologize and get me a new sandwich. I was told that what I had was the pulled pork and it had all the pulled pork they put in it. But I still could not see any pulled pork. I held it next to the big poster and asked if something was missing. They were rude to me and said since I got what I ordered that they could do nothing about it. So here I am doing something, telling you about the rotten sandwich and service I got. If this is a typical pulled pork at Burger King, someone did not do their research and should be fired. If it is that they truly serve then stay away and go somewhere else, like Dickies. I know I will.

This branch sucks, Ordered chkn sandwich all was there was chicken and cabbage, I ask for mayo the guy look around and said no and leave without even looking at me, the creamer they said they are the only one who can place it on a cup, when it came it was totally black and I ask for more they said they have a limit on creamer wtf, BK corporate are stupid enough not to check Unilocal review and do some change on service, I would never eat on BK, PEOPLEMUSTREAD Unilocal and don’t even think about going here, there are a lot of places you can go and eat that makes customer happy for a creamer really they would rather have the creamer and loose a customer, employee just don’t care as long as they have check at the end of the day, and they don’t even smile.

I usually don’t eat at fast food restaurants… nor do I review them on Unilocal… but I have to write this review to WARN people, so they will not meet the same fate that I have… My brother and I went to this location to use our Amazon voucher. I was excited. We were going to bring our sandwiches into the movie theater. Nothin like a good chicken sandwich to munch on while watching Looper. This location is not pretty. You know the Mc Donalds locations that are renovated to look like classy hang out spots– Mc Cafes? Yeah, this place is dirt. Although Burger King has revamped their menu and made it pretty, they should try a little harder to stay relevant in the fast food game. Fast forward to the movie theater, enjoying the movie… I start eating my sandwich. Ok, it’s decent. …keep eating. watch movie. eat eat. watch movie… and as i bite into the sandwich and pull it away from my mouth… I pull a hair out… with my teeth… A very long hair. And I dont know why. why didn’t I stop tugging at it, why didn’t I throw up, why didn’t I spit out all the contents in my mouth… But I kept pulling at it… In hindsight, I’m thinking that it was dark in the movie theater so I didn’t know what I was eating. Part of me hopes it was a piece of shredded lettuce. Part of me thinks it could have possibly been my own hair. But why did I have to work so hard to pull the hair out of the sandwich? These questions haunt me at night. At any rate, this experience has turned me off of Burger King. NEVERAGAIN. I prefer to floss AFTER my meal.

The fuckaround gang actually deserves a negative review, not one star. –1 star for cold onion rings. –1 star for giving me a whopper jr when I ordered a double cheeseburger. –1 star for giving me everything when i asked for mayo and cheese only. –1 star for overcharging me for it. –1 star for hiring a dumbass kitchen person who cant read an order. –1 star for firing that hot latina chick. +1 star for me being smart enough to never go back to this one.

My friend got me an Amazon voucher for Buy 1, Get 1 Free chicken sandwich at BK. I’m usually not a fast food fan… except maybe Chik-fil-A which is the exception because I love their chicken product. However, I love getting an additional chicken sandwich and I came here to redeem the deal. Unbeknownst to me, the cashier who rang me up said that this location actually does Buy 1, Get 1 Free chicken sandwich once in a while, no coupon necessary. I’m not sure how reliable this information is but give it a shot next time if any of you are reading this. Otherwise, typical older looking BK that has the typical LCD screen menu and older tables and furniture. I did notice that their 20 piece chicken nuggets are $ 4.99, matching McDonald’s pricing. Little competition never hurt!

This BK rounds out my horrible experience of the Four Corners fast food places. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich, no tomato. I got a bacon cheeseburger, with onion and tomato. I asked for a coke Icee. I was told the machine was broken, and that they are waiting for Coke to come fix it «but Coke keeps telling [them] that there’s a backlog.» Pro tip, Bk staff: don’t give excuses. Not going back if I can help it.

I have been to this Burger King several times but the last time is definitely my last. I ordered the 20 piece chicken tenders through the drive through. When I got home, I noticed that they only gave me 18 and they gave me two chicken fries for a substitute. They were cold and tasted like they have been there for hours waiting for someone to order it. Totally not eatable and thrown away. I ended up calling Burger King corporate. In return, they said that they will follow up with me through e-mail…hmmmm…it’s been over a week. Don’t think that I will be hearing from them. This place is the worst BK I have ever been to. There are far too many other fast food places around that I can go to when I have no time.

Do I have to give it even one star??? This BK is HORRIBLE! This BK has ‘cold food, taste different than other BK’s, Young, reckless, and don’t give a shit staff’…perfect way to put it! And MJ S., we eat at a fast food joint ALL the time! You just have to say something positive about this shithole prob. because you work there or you have some type of connection to this place… all I got to say is, explore other boundaries. The couple of times I went to this BK, I noticed there food was cold and tasted stale. And the french fries are a whole different story… they tasted like FISH! What are they doing back there? And they have signs fooling the customers right up front: «Employees MUST wash hands»…OKKKK??? A few months later, I went back for a cup of ice, on my way home. I thought to myself, OK this shouldn’t hurt, as long as I’m not ordering food, Im Ok. I requested a small BK cup and they charged me 60 cents! Who does that? BK is a HUGE franchise and they’re charging 60 cents for a cup of ice? Then, as I gave the cashier 75 cents, she gives me change for 85 cents… WTF??? What an airhead! At least it was free and I made 10 cents out of them! And I’m sure as they balanced their inventory by the end of the day, the manager nailed EVERYONE about those missing 10 cents!

I love those Traditional Chicken Sandwiches. Two for one is a screaming deal… until you buy them from this location. I stopped at this location because I was on my way back to work and I only had $ 3 cash and a bunch of change. I paid almost $ 5(they said $ 4.49 for one sandwich… WTH?!). There are two locations in Union City that only charge $ 3.29($ 2.99 + tax). Needless to say, thsi BK ended up with 3 bucks and a ton of change. 1 star bonus because they at least cooked the food right.

Ok, ok – the 90s called, and they want the dusty rose and pale blue sun-faded cushioned booths back. Really, BK – I know that you pull in loads of money. Could you at the very least replace your booth cushions? Other than that, the food was definitely what my stomach needed. I ordered the #4 with the Whopper Jr. and got out of there for about $ 4.32. I also avoided the crazily fat-laden Whopper with its 1000+ calories and ridiculous fat grams tally. Yeeah, my 32+ grams from my sandwich and fries and 600 something calorie count were plenty for me, thanks. It was nice that the place wasn’t crawling with people. I may have even enjoyed myself for a moment amongst the nondescript wall art and damp, newly mopped floors. It’s definitely useful if you’re starving, headed back to SJ, and need a place near 880.

I worked at this Burger King before I became a revolutionary chef. It used to be a place where youth could hang out with their cars and just chill. But just like the Patriot Act, Fremont cracked down on cruising like it was terrorism. Was there ever given a reason? I go to this Burger King for the memories. To remember when I made $ 2.85 an hour. To remember where I started experimenting with chicken patties and making triple whoppers with xtra BBQ sauce. I only go there now for the breakfast: egg and cheese croissant. That is cheap and the overworked underpaid staff cannot ruin it. Yes, the eggs are real. And usually they don’t microwave it, like they do the sausage and bacon.(ask for it off the grill, so they don’t nuke it). I am against fast food overall. Not because my memories don’t tempt me back into the doors of the King, but because the world is too fast. And W and Rove and the rest of the warmongers want us to live a fast lifestyle, so we don’t take the time to realize we have a demoralizing and economically depleting war. It’s sad that a subpar Burger King can exist and an illegal war, but cruising… youth chilling outside in a parking lot… that’s banned. Ridiculous.
