Best samosas I’ve had outside of our home. I entered the store through the back as my car was parked there and the guy allowed me to go through the kitchen. It was spotless and shining. Food is homemade and has perfect balance of spices and oil.

Ordered 10 samosas, which was put in a brown bag n given to me. When I come home n put them in a plate to take somewhere, they are broken here n there. Wouldn’t it be easier n sensible to put them in a box, so that they can lay flat, n don’t get broken? Not very happy with the samosa purchase today, even if they taste good. Don’t have time to make anything else right now, will have to blame it on the place. Oh well.

This place is so dirty. My food had a hair in it, so I decided not to eat it get my money back and just enjoy my tea. As we were sitting on the table a baby roach was hanging on the table. I walked out. So gross!!!

Tried tikki chhole, some of the sweets. Best i have eaten in USA in last 17 years.
I don’t care what service they; not to suggest that they have given me any bad service; but nothing stood out either. The people working behind the counter seems like robots just doing their thing. I think they all can use a hug or two and cheer up.
I just like their food and will definitely keep going here.

The food here is ok, but the sweets are the best. My mom and I would come here to try out the different sweets. Unfortunately like one reviewer wrote below about the cockroach, I actually saw one on the wall by the menu posted since then I have never gone back. Hopefully they can/or have gotten that situation under control because the food isn’t that bad or excellent.

Ii came in here yesterday between 5 – 6 pm to buy Burfee, which by the way is very very good. In fact most of their sweets are like their name. Lovely. And very delicious. That unfortunately is where the loveliness stops. I felt like I was intruding and very unwelcome as I was not only not greeted by the persons behind the counter, they were unprofessional with the way they were having side conversations when they should have been waiting on me. (And laughing too which never is a good business model). I asked a couple questions about the pastries and was given short answers in terms of the ingredients as well as the prices (which are not listed)?? I don’t know if this is the usual attitude but i left this establishment with a horrible feeling in my stomach. I can find Burfee anywhere, but I don’t know if I can find this same level of undignified and dishonorable service toward another person. I hope your karma bites you in the ass. Have a nice day.

We usually come here for our Indian sweets and snack needs since it’s so close to home. Their service and location aren’t the best but their food is decent tasting. I would only reccomend to someone if they really can’t travel the extra distance to go somewhere better like Taste of India

We have not tried this place for food. The other day we were looking for some sweets to buy and found out about this place.
We bought motichur ladoos and kaju roll. Both were fresh and tasted really nice!
We will definitely go to this place to buy sweets in future.

My mom and I were doing some suit shopping and wanted a bite to eat. We stopped by and noticed they had a very good selection of sweets. We tried the khoya burfi and loved it! It was rich, creamy, and smooth. It had to be one of the best pieces of burfi I’ve had in US. I’d definitely go back to buy the burfi in bulk for any event!

This review is only for their sweets. I feel most people that come to Lovely sweets are mainly here to purchase mithai (sweets) rather than actually eat food here. Its a small shop and very little seating. In the showcase, they have a variety of sweets from barfi’s to gulab jamun to jalebis to cham chams. There’s this one item that I specifically come here for which they call burnt cake. It looks like a rectangular barfi thats been a bit well done. It’s not burnt by any means but this sweet is so delicious and my guilty pleasure. They also sell samosas on top of the desert showcase but I’d avoid as its been laying out uncovered. Ive had their other sweets in the past and its pretty good. I’ll be back here again.

We had an order with Lovely’s for a graduation party, and the night before the party she called and cancelled. Her excuse was that we didn’t hit the minimum quote. And when we asked her what the minimum quote was, she quoted us for $ 200 more than the first time we had talked to her about this. When we told her this, she tried to tell us that the person we talked to the first time was wrong.
Our theory about what happened? She just got a bigger order and wanted to fulfill that one, so cancelled our order.
Absolutely terribly service, and an absolutely terrible attitude towards customers. I will never be coming here again.

Sorry, not so lovely for us.
We ordered about a pound of assorted sweets and nothing tasted good out of the box. We ended up throwing out everything after trying each piece. Not horrible, but just not good. I guess we’re picky, but judging from the other negative reviews, maybe not.
Even my treasured Rus Malai went into the trash after taking a couple bites.
What a waste. It’s time for a new sweets chef!
