This is a great local bar! When we arrived we could tell that this place is some peoples«spot.» They’re here often to the point where they are bffs with the bar tenders. The drinks were really good. And not so expensive. I got a cranberry vodka and they put a lot of vodka in my drink, and I’m not complaining! Since it was a Friday night there was a band playing. Only problem was it does get super loud inside when the band plays. They do have an outside patio type area which I didn’t go look at yet… But I’ll be here again and hopefully check out the patio then!

Great local bar if you are looking for a low key, fun night! Tuesday and Wednesday nights are my favorite as they are blues night and karaōke night. Gets pretty busy around 10pm. They have great bar food. I usually order the appetizer sampler which is only $ 9. It comes with garlic tator tots, mozzerella sticks and chicken nuggets. The other food also looks great! Drinks and service here is excellent and their prices I think are cheap. Highly recommend stopping by if you have’t been here already!

The place is cool and chill to hang out. Went there last night for the karaōke. Didn’t stay as the place was filled with nothing but guys. Dudes, dudes, and more dudes as they streamed through the door. Maybe two women out of 50 guys. Maybe it’s just me but I like a little more gender balance when I go out to a bar. Sort of keeps the vibe interesting. Not looking for a pick-up scene it’s just that women add a little different and welcome energy to the environment. Just wondering why more women don’t feel more comfortable coming here on karaōke night?

Decent bar and close to home. I like wednesdays since it’s karaōke night. Drinks are pretty strong and prices are reasonable. The bartenders are nice and never had any problems. They have a backroom for the smokers. Nice divey bar if you’re looking for someplace low key.

One of my favourite places to go for a beer, love the live music and the food is deliciously bad for you!

Came here on a Friday night and it was pretty decent! Some band named Monkey was playing(reggae) and I personally thought they sounded amazing! The lead singer gave me a Sublime front man vibe, which made them seem that much smoother(: We got some orange vodka concoction and some jaeger bombs(trashy, I know lol), but they were good, especially at 5 bucks a drink! thanks Martin for being patient and kind when we struggled to choose drinks! We got there around 930 on a Friday and there was no cover charge. All in all not a bad place. This is fremont. It’s a bar in the middle of a residential area, I have no idea what John Taffer-esk bar lounge some people are expecting coming here, but if you want a quick cheap drink with a friend come here! Definitely will be coming back!

Loved this bar! For a «dive» bar, it is only in appearances. The people are fun and the bartenders are cool. The bouncers are chill but they do their jobs, so you have to appreciate that. The prices are fair, more for some and less for others(isn’t that the case for most bars?!) if you’re looking for a chill local place to socialize with friends, this is your place.

This is my first bar, and it was a very interesting experience. My friend who performs in a band have always invited me out to watch him. I always flake and decided I must stop being a bad friend and go support him! I invited 2 other [female] friends but they flaked, so I was by myself. Since everyone who came to the bar last night(Saturday night) were friends and family of the band playing, everyone knew everyone. Everyone was nice & chill and the service is good. The bartenders are friendly, and I think their drinks are cheap(comparing to clubs.). They also sell food until midnight, but I didn’t order any. There is a bouncer checking ID’s, even if you look 50 — but I’m not sure if there is a cover charge. I came in around 11 pm, but lots of people didn’t start coming in till midnight. Live music on Friday & Saturday nights! While it’s playing, you can’t even hear anyone talk unless you’re super close to each other, haha. Support locals! Chill atmosphere. P. S. Red Soil is my friends band :)

Decent beer and service but the place is rundown and the customers who visit here are violent«bro’s» and«thugs» often looking to pick a fight and ruin your night.

Live music and crafty beers is a plus. A little tip for bar patrons, if your’e trying to get a drink go to one end of the bar or the other as you typically not get a drink when standing at the middle of the bar. Wish there were more of an IPA selection here, they had mostly lighter beers and some porters/stouts. This place gets pretty packed when there is live music, and street parking is probably your best bet.

Place is ok. Another dive in fremont. It is a great, smaller place to grab a drink with a friend or with a significant other. They have shuffle board, too, which is really fun. They also have karaōke and live bands. When live bands play, they sometimes charge a cover which I find pretty lame. I know they need to cover costs, but at the same time, the bar isn’t worth paying for. Service depends on the day. One time I went and watched a bartender start screaming at a drunk customer. Granted, the guy was wasted, but shouldn’t you expect that choosing this place for a job? It seemed classless and unprofessional. On the other end, I have been here and the bartenders were great, so it really just depends. I really scored this place a three because of the crowd. A lot of time you can come and there are a few regulars. The annoyance, I find, are the drunk ones that think they’re thugs. Gets old fairly quick. If you don’t plan on going and staying the whole night, I’d recommend this place for a round or two.

Best dive bar in Fremont, and as a long time Fremonster I should know. Aki Kumar Blues Jam on Tuesday 8pm is tha_jam. Friendly folks, awesome divey vibey thang goon’ on, and they now have awesome food! Egg rolls and chicken skewers are the specialties but who can resist bacon-topped tater-tot nachos?!? Not I, my friend!

I’ve been to Mojo’s many times and enjoyed the live music and the atmosphere a lot. There is a new resturant inside and the food is incredible. My group had tried several different types of their pizza, the shrimp rolls, tater tot nachos, garlic tater tots, and more and everything was great. That isn’t just me saying that because EVERYTABLE had their food on it and EVERYBODY was enjoying it. I want to go back and try more because I saw the food at other tables that looked so good as well. I’m a big guy and either tater tot plate or the pizza would be plenty for me but you will find your group ordering several plates and sampling from them all. I have to say that Mojo’s is a great bar. There are many different brews to choose from, great live music, friendly staff, and patrons. Mojo’s is an all-around great experience.

New food service at Mojo’s is excellent. Small menu fits your bar needs. They use all fresh ingredients on their melt sandwiches and appetizers. Mini shrimp egg rolls are yummy with sweet and sour sauce. Loved the nacho tater tots or any fresh ingredient mini pizzas especially the chicken Alfredo. It was a good feast on a Saturday night listening to some live blues. You can always find some good tap beer specials there too. They have 28 beers on tap. Lots of craft beers. I got a Bridgeport Hop Czar that night for $ 4.

I have been a regular at Mojo’s for quite sometime(3 to 4 times a week) we used to have a great time. But last week when we visited the place on a different day there was a different bartender than the regular(an Asian woman) she was really rude, she accused me of stealing another customers phone(later she found the phone on a different table) still the bartender refused to apologize and calls me an asshole for not taking it easy. Am really disappointed with the management for hiring such an unprofessional bar tender I hope the management takes proper action.

I came here on a Friday night to watch my cousin in law’s band play on stage. They didn’t charge any cover at the door, but they checked my i.d. at the door. Well they made up for the lack of cover charge by charging me hellava lot for beer and a glass of wine. I paid this much for the same items at Ruth Chris Steakhouse… and this is a dive bar! Oh well watching my cuz play anyways not here to drink. This place is a really small rectangular shaped room. Because of its diminutive size the bands could’ve lowered the volume just a little that way everyone could of listened to the music a little less painlessly. I know it’s not the bars doing more like the bands cranking up their volume o their amps.

A few OC friends and I had to attend a traditional Muslim wedding reception around the corner at Paradise Palace in Fremont. However, there were two problems: The reception said 7 pm, but the couple didn’t arrive until 9 pm; and, there was no alcohol. The handy dandy Unilocal app came to the rescue, and showed us to Mojo 0.2 miles away on Peralta, just North of Fremont Blvd. Mojo is a dive bar, but surprisingly there is a band on Fri nights, and they offer food. In addition, there is an outside patio for smokers. The bartender, Martin was really cool, and his sidekick was really cute. They took good care of us pouring Don Julio rocks, Duvel, and Lagunitas: 5 Stars for the bartenders. We did try some food. My friend ordered buffalo wings. The only issue was he didn’t tell us he asked the window to make them super spicy. They were the hottest wings I had ever had!!! One of the girls in our group said her lips were numb. The other one said her mouth looked like she had a botox injection. By this time we were pretty numb too, so we laughed off our sorrows(til the morning after — ouch!!!): 4 Stars. The crowd was pretty cool too. They didn’t hate on us cos we wearing suits, and they all seemed to be enjoying themselves. We engaged in a few conversations and they were enjoying Game 3 of the World Series when the Giants looked like they would stage a comeback. However, when we returned later, they were drowning their sorrows after a 1 run loss: 4 Stars. BTW, Mojos was so much fun we came twice: Before the couple arrived, and after the reception ended. So if you find yourself lost in Fremont, and don’t want to drink at Elephant Bar a mile or so up the road, drop by here and get your«Mojo» on!

I came here on a Thursday night with a handful of my girls from work and we had a great time. Chill atmosphere, good music and enough space for everyone(there was even a little patio area, ideal for smokers). Drinks are extremely reasonable, you can leave your tab open all night and drink the whole bar and not be shocked when you get your statement. Mixed drinks are a little weak though but they have 15(or maybe more) beers on tap so bring your buddies out to play around the world! It’s a locals spot so expect to see someone you know and enjoy yourself. Giving it 4⁄5 bc the mixed drinks were weak, only one toilet in the ladies room, and not many tables inside.

For bars around the Fremont/Newark/Union City, this place is one of the better dive bars around. It does it’s job. On the Wednesday night that I went, a handful of friendly groups were there as well to take a load off on a weeknight. Besides my company, my favorite thing about that night was certainly the DJ they got spinning. He played all the 90s/early 00s jams(RnB/Hip Hop). We all just kicked back, sipped and bobbed our heads to the music. Fair prices on beers on tap($ 5 – 6), no minimum on card. Plenty of chairs and tables. It’s a neighborly spot for those casual night outs.
