I walked in here last evening and had chicken wrap with babganoush. The wrap was very delicious and is a different taste compared to dish n dash. Even the wrap bread had its own crunchiness texture to it which made the taste even more delightful. Great service and good food. Will definitely go here again, bye bye dish n dash !

Pretty lame food these guys serve here. All the veggies were specially blend. No taste whatsoever. Tried falafal and it was bad.

Its affordable, deliciously healthy, and quick. You choose from a wrap($ 8.50), 2 diff salads($ 8.95) or plates($ 9.95) — all of which includes 3(yes three!) different sides. Sides include: Baba ghanoush(fav), hummus, carrot slaw, red cabbage slaw, kale salad, greek potato salad, and cous cous. For a little extra you can get Yalla fries and yes do opt for the feta ranch drizzle I haven’t had the chance to dine in, but the décor is totally inviting and looks as fresh as their food will make you feel. Start yourself on the right, like Chipotle, pick your meal type, meat, and three sides. Easy as pie. I’ve had this place 4 times since my first visit two weeks ago. Maybe it isn’t as authentic as some would want but if I can get a fresh salmon skewer plate for less than $ 13 they’re doing something right.

I tried their shawarma for to go. It was not the shawarma i was expecting. I dont even know if its shawarma. its meat and lettuce and some sauce wrapped in flat bread. They are not that generous in putting meat on it. The sauce that came with it was not the sauce i was expecting. It just taste like a regular salad dressing. I also tried their food plate, it tasted good, i like the yellow long grain rice, very tasty. I would go back to taste their other food.

For quickness and taste I give it 5 stars-it’s hard to find good food within the limitation of time. The blends of greens and flavorful sauces were very fulfilling and the salmon was very fresh! The lamb skewer was equally delicious, in addition to being very tender. The food is actually seasoned and cooked very nicely… it’s all in perspective-it should be considered a healthier version of fast food and when you view Yalla that way-they nailed the concept! Only qualm(reason for only 4 stars): should remove meat from skewers over the grill; not over the prep counter where the juices of the meat were dripping into vegetarian sides. I’m not a vegetarian, but I’m sensitive to those that are. It’s also just not an efficient way(becomes messy and time consuming) to remove the meat away from the grill-grill person should handle that!

Yalla Mediterranean just moved into the Whole Foods marketplace in Fremont, CA. It is «Americanized» mediterranean food, similar to the way Chipotle is Americanized Mexican food. It’s ok… just ok, I really wanted to give it 2.5 Stars. If this restaurant opened up in Columbus Ohio it would be a huge hit, because I doubt they have this style of exotic food there. But since Fremont is a very multi-ethnic location and we already have various types of REALAUTHENTIC mediterranean cuisine it falls very, very short. Compared to the Saffron Grill in Newark or the De-Afgan Kabob House in Fremont it’s not even close. Is it terrible? No, it’s decent food and the staff and service were great. The one thing they do well,(similar to Chipotle) is they are fast for lunch and diner. So need a quick lunch and you happen to be shopping at Whole Foods, sure try it out, I’ve tasted worse, but other choices in the area are far superior.
