Quite disappointed. I came in extremely excited to get bubble tea and the man told us there was no bubbles and was extremely rude. Will not be back.

I have ordered multiple times here… I have tried most of their noodle dishes and I haven’t been dissapopinted. Bf always gets beef & broccoli, but he had also enjoyed their pad thai and thai iced tea! This place is ALWAYS on time, which is great! They should be, considering that I probably only live around a mile away… They can even customize how much sugar you want in your milk tea!

Ordered chicken — white meat with broccoli and the chicken taste reheated, old, just not a good taste. My husband liked his order so might give this place another shot but definitely not ordering that chicken again! Gross

I got the«Phở Bo» and shrimp rolls. How is it that this phở bo is actually much better than Saigon next door, something that they specialize in? Well.anyway. This dish was realllly good even though it’s not authentic phở, but more of a beef noodle soup. It’s the perfect dish to get when you’re sick and it’ll make you feel like a million bucks. Try it out and you won’t regret it. The shrimp rolls were average, nothing special but it does the job. The rolls came with a mayo/tarter dipping sauce. Overall, nice place for a quick bite to eat!

Friends and I came here after class to grab some lunch and try their boba. Very limited seating but if you can grab a seat, it’s a great place to enjoy your lunch and even study. They have plenty of lunch special options plus appetizers. They have a good amount of milk tea selections(green, black, milk, slushy) for a decent price. I tried their hot almond milk tea with boba and found it pretty satisfying, though the boba itself was a bit. My friend thought her drink wasn’t that great(she got some sort of green milk tea). My other friend got a good deal: boba drink + appetizer for $ 5 and some change. Food quality is ok– the price is reasonable for the taste you’re paying for. They do give a large amount of things for their lunch special: choice of soup, entrée with rice(choice of rice), side salad, and meat-filled fried wonton. All of this for $ 5.99 + tax. Service is good– nice and friendly, cooks are fast and efficient. Other than that, that’s about it. You bus your own table and they do a good job making sure all the tables are clean. They have free wifi too!

I normally get bubble tea here. It is one of the best places to get bubble tea in the area and there are a large variety of flavors and types to choose from. I also sometimes get food here. I had some of the appetizers and they were alright, but I also ordered the drunken noodles. In my honest opinion, they tasted much better after a night in the refrigerator and cold than they did fresh, since they didn’t have much of a taste… All in all it is a good place with drinks, but the food… it might be a hit or miss…

I had recently ordered their combo platter with their general tsao chicken. It wasn’t the greatest I’ve ever had. There wasn’t a lot of flavor. It’s not something I would order again. The sauce was abundant, which isn’t really a good thing to me, but that’s just based on preference.

I love bubble tea from there !!! Get a card for stamps, so you can get 7s tea for free. Food is alright. It’s more place to go than to stay.

My girlfriend loves this place and let’s face it, I’m not a big fan of thai food but since it makes her happy, I’m sure it’s all good. I’ve ate here only once. I lied. I’ve ate their food once but it was to go. It was decent but just not my taste; however, I’m sure a thai food lover will enjoy it.

Nice restaurant in a great area. Food is great here. Prices are low in my opinion and service is good. It isn’t a very large space, but regardless it works for what it is. I recommend you try!

Not your run-of-the-mill Chinese takeout, Green Lotus offers a variety of Asian fusion to satisfy your noodle or rice fix. The menu is a hodgepodge of different cuisines running down the coast from Honshu to Kuala Lumpur. And strangely, the tastes work if you order a number of different dishes. This is a popular place with the college crowd from St John’s across the street, offering affordable & tasty alternatives to college cafeteria food. The pad thai with your choice of beef, chicken or shrimp is not bad, but sometimes the rice noodles get too soggy and the ground peanuts are not too fresh, especially when it gets home in the takeout container. We’ll have to try dining in sometime. We go for the basil or shrimp & scallop fried rice most of the time, but a new menu item we’ve tried is the beef phở bo. It has sliced aromatic beef and thin rice noodles in a hearty tasty broth. For an Asian fusion place, I would think they’d have more dumplings on the menu. They have deep fried gyoza, but i wish they had pan fried and steamed pork and vegetable dumplings. The bubble tea is also very good with lots of different flavors to choose from and at a good value price. I like the taro, honeydew and coconut flavors with the chewy tapioca balls. They use the automatic plastic cup sealing machine, so you don’t have to worry about it spilling in the car on the ride home.

I used to ordered their chicken over rice few years ago. It definitely had flavor because of the amount of sauce the actual food is smothered in. It’s piled with rice on one side with your choice of meat and vegetables on the other. It always looks like my food is drowning. It’s just too much sauce added into the dish. The sauce is very thick too. The color of it looks fine but the taste is bland. I’ve tried their bubble tea a few times whenever I order chicken over rice. Each time was a different flavor. I couldn’t bring myself to like any of them. It’s powder mixed with sugar and hot water. It’s not tasty and it is overly sweet. The prices are pricey too.

This is basically upscale Chinese food. It’s not saturated and it tastes amazing. The price is a little high but we’ll worth it. There is always a wait whether you go in or call ahead.

I dont understand all the hate, this restaurant is damn good CONSIDERING the volume they get and considering its still fast food chinese at the end of the day. They do their best and I think people need to consider that and they have much much more than typical take out places in terms of variety. My only complaint is it IS a bit more expensive compared to lower end ones and the food that is americanized is REALLY americanized meaning its some of the dishes are sweet as candy. I often come here for bubble tea too. Overall best takeout place I ever been to in NYC.

I really wasn’t a fan… Yes, they do give generous portions and the prices aren’t unreasonable but taste-wise, the food was just lacking for me. I came here at around 1:30 on a weekday and there was no line at all. I was actually a little surprised at the décor because from reading these Unilocal reviews, I had not expected Green Lotus to look anything like a Chinese take-out restaurant. I had expected it to look more like a café but I guess I was wrong… There are only about 3 tables of seating available and also additional seating at the front window. The place seems kind of cluttered and unorganized but it didn’t seem dirty. So I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and it was ~$ 8 which isn’t that bad. Even before I ordered, I already had expectations that I wasn’t going to like this pad thai since it’s made in a Chinese restaurant and not in a legit Thai restaurant. My senses were right. The noodles aren’t the Thai noodles that are usually used to make Pad Thai and the sauce was just a bit off. The noodles that they used were the ones that are usually used to make Chow Fun at Chinese restaurants(they do not taste good in pad thai!!). While waiting for my food, I glanced around to see what the people inside were having and the food did not seem appealing. I probably won’t be coming back to Green Lotus because if I want Chinese food, I can go to Empire right next door and if I want Thai food, I can go to Thai Taste a block away. I’m honestly not a huge fan of these«fusion» restaurants because even though they have more variety of food items, they don’t make any of them exceptionally well.

I’ve ordered from Green Lotus many times in the past; especially delivery for almost Four years. But, just recently. I called for a delivery a few months ago, and they gave me the bad new’s. Green Lotus told me that the delivery-guy no longer delivers to my location anymore, Which i thought was just insane, because of the fact that I’ve been ordering from them for almost 4 years, they must have of known me by now.(Nope they don’t know or care who I am) But, I just called today 8÷19÷2014, Green Lotus just told me they do deliver to me. This now depends on who i get on the phone. If it’s the Male Receptionist; he says no, you’re too far. If it is the Woman Receptionist, she tells me that she does, I DON’T GETTHIS!(I only live 7 – 10 mins away depending on traffic) But when they do deliver, and if it’s not a peak hours; they delivery to me in 10 – 20 mins. When the Male Receptionist says no, I give my order, and pick up my order from Green Lotus. What a hassle! But, the thing I loved the most from Green Lotus, is now a hit or miss. My favorite curry dishes. They also now depend on who is cooking the food that day as well. Who ever is cooking the meals that day, either makes it too spicy(making it very unpleasant to eat), or too milky(making it taste like a broth), and someday’s its spot on perfect.(What ever chef who’s making it perfect, please work more hours! ha-ha or at least give me your schedule of when you work, so i can order during those times.) But, on rare occasions I sometimes get bad tasting tofu in my curry, that taste old. In the end, since the result involves the inconstancy factor; of whom you get working that day, It really lowers the overall quality of the place. From the food tasting awesome, then getting the same meal the next day tasting funky. Random delivery times, or being forced to pick up the food and last of all, the unsatisfying customer service. This place gets my Two Stars on a bad day, and Three Stars on a good day. Price: 3⁄5 Food Taste: 3.5/ 5 Customer Service: 1.5 /5 Delivery Time: 2⁄5 Avg Total: 2.5 Sincerely, The Native American Critic.

Went with my friends we order 4 dishes .ONLY one of 4 dishes was delicious. That dish was PHOBO. It is a Vietnamese noodle with beef slices. The service wasn’t that great, not much smile and they talked to each other at a very high volume(extremely loud). That funny is they were not talking about the business or the order. Instead they were talking bad stuff behind someone … It made me feel very uncomfortable to sit in the restaurant . Their price is pretty cheap compare to its neighbors. It lunch special come with a can of soda.
