went to pick up cupcakes next door and noticed it is closed. used to love this place when i was in college.

I love this place. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always consistent. Hell, the last time I was there, I was holding my drooling three month old and it was still a fantastic experience.
I always get the same thing — chicken teriyaki sticks, veggie tempura and rice. Their rice is amazing and their sauces are so good you’re kind of tempted to drink them. They have five different types of veggies, but you can substitute or request a certain kind if you’ve got favorites. They are pretty quick to get their orders up too.
The restaurant is clean, well maintained, etc. The drink/​condiment stations are always well stocked. Bathrooms are clean. Deco is nice, but not overwhelming. They have a huge fishtank that the kids love to look at.
Just because it’s not overpriced doesn’t mean it’s any less delicious!
