Not the place to eat at, it’s all take out. I didn’t even get a plastic fork or chop sticks. I remembering them opening the location in 2000. I thought the place was simple and ok. I do remember the Servise. It was pretty much order play and go. Next. Well it has not improved and the I have to say the food has worsened. I don’t see people walking in or noticed the phones ringing. I was trying the place because I moved back into the area. Bad choice. If you eat here, i guess they make there dishes special for you. Because my food was horrific. Explains why there’s no pictures of food on Unilocal. Not worth the time and if I eat here again my picture will be of my food in the trash can after sampling the platter. 5÷3÷2016 Posted a picture, it was a ghost town, these owners are beating a dead dog to preform. The food is so bad the homeless person in the front pan handling wants Taco Bell instead of Chinese. Go figure, I asked why, and he said it gave him the runs. Well that’s enough for me to update this location. Send these people packing. The food is horrible.

Large portions but food is mediocre. Order 2 fried shrimp and it has a pound of batter on it. They don’t have fountain drinks, I know it’s take out but at least put your canned soda in a refrigerator or something. Doesn’t take debit or credit! Only cash?! It’s 2015 evolve or just sell the place!

This place has okay service and okay food. I only order the pan fried noodle(plain chow mein) and nothing else. I would give them a higher rating, but they don’t accept debit/credit cards which I don’t understand why since everyone has a card with them.

Large portions but bland food. They only accept cash when now a days people only carry around nothing but debit/credit cards. If you’re really wanting Chinese take out, drive an extra 3 mins to the other restaurant on shields that shares the same parking lot w the dollar tree called Sing Tao & you’ll be more satisfied!

I had a craving for Chinese and recently moved to the area. I was familiar with Sing Tao and tried to call and order. After calling three times with no answer and checking online to see their available hours, I decided to go and order. There was a line and I was told there was an hour wait. At that point I was really annoyed. For one, answering your phone is kind of an obvious must. And two, an hour wait for Chinese food? Their food is NOT worth the wait. So anyway I tried calling other places in the area and found Dragon. Upon entering, it looked very basic. Nothing fancy, kind of a hole in the wall with only a couple chairs to sit and wait. I already began to assume it wasn’t going to be the best Chinese food I’ve ever had but when I get a craving, nothing else can satiate me. I ordered their chicken broccoli over pan fried noodles and waited. It didn’t take too long surprisingly and upon opening the box at home, I knew I was going to like it. The veggies were crisp, not over cooked or soggy and the sauce was soooo good! The noodles and chicken were bomb! I was pleasantly surprised and would go as far as to say it is some of the best Chinese food I’ve had.(I have been to a lot of places and am quite particular.) I wouldn’t say it is a 5 but since other people are giving it a bad rep, I upped my score to up the average. Lastly, the people were nice, not overly friendly but I think that’s just the culture. I would recommend this place most definitely!

I didn’t have the pleasure of partaking in Dragon’s food but I had to post this review. I was mortifyingly embarrassed when the woman at the register refused my $ 20 bill. It was my only cash and had everything a real bill would have, the watermark, the security strip… It had obviously been used before. The lady cancelled our order because she didn’t trust it. I’ve never been so embarrassed in my life. A cash only place and they won’t take my cash? Get out of here. I hope they shut down soon.

I’ve lived in this neighborhood for over a year and today was the first day I’ve tried Dragon. The first red flag was that they only take cash. The second red flag for me was that there are signs on every wall in this restaurant that say«all sales final» and«no refunds given.» Despite the red flags, I ordered my Chinese restaurant standby — orange chicken. It wasn’t spicy and that is about the best thing I can say for this meal. We ordered the orange chicken plate and the pork chow mein plate. My immediate impression was that the meal was entirely monochromatic — no vegetables, sauces, nothing to give it any color or attractive qualities. The only exception to this was the egg roll, which was unlike any other egg roll I have ever seen. It looked like it was made using a dough, rather than an egg roll wrap. That is the best way I can describe it. It was extremely hard and about as big around as a soda can, so there was no way you could put it into your mouth. I had to crush it and eat the contents inside. It wasn’t entirely bad and it was the only portion of the meal that contained any vegetable or color. The egg roll came perched atop a very pink colored sauce that I presumed to be sweet and sour. It was neither sweet nor sour. The rice appeared to be steamed rice doused in soy sauce, but it had zero flavor — I would have welcomed anything at that point. Because I’m pretty much willing to give new restaurants a try at least once, I took a bite or two of everything, then pretty much threw in the towel and made a sandwich at home. For the same amount of time and less money, you would be better off getting some frozen Chinese meal at the Save Mart next door, taking it home and cooking it yourself. There’s a much better Chinese place half a mile away and I now understand why that place is always busy and Dragon is not.

My hubby and I ate here one day last week on a whim and the next day we couldn’t keep anything in! The food was good but definitely not as good on the way out. You decide for yourself but you’ve been warned!

After reading previous reviews, I was looking forward to grabbing a quick dinner and actually enjoying it. So much for that, I hadn’t even started my dinner yet and my experience was already ruined. Make sure to SPEAKSLOW and CLEARLY, the lady messed up my «orange chicken» order and gave me «broccoli beef»…how she mixed the two up is beyond me. They weren’t even busy and still messed the order up. Then a few more customers walked in & we had to wait over half an hour to get our food. The food itself was very bland, this place is about quantity NOT quality. If you want a LOT of food that does not taste good, this is the place for you. If you still decide to try this restaurant, take my advice and call in to ORDERAHEAD.

This place is just for take-out. Second, like Michele B. said, cash only. There’s an ATM outside if you need cash. Third, the food here will make you full, for sure. Generous portions, no matter what you order. The chop suey(just vegetables), Mongolian beef, and broccoli beef are a few of my personal favorites. I order egg-foo yung every now and then, but I try to avoid it because the gravy they use is salty… but good. Haha. One thing I like about this place is that you can actually see them cooking your food. No tricks, nothing to hide. Your food is fresh and you could see that it is made to order. Drawbacks? Some of the items are relatively the same. For example, their chop suey(just vegetables) is virtually the same as the Mongolian beef, but of course, with the exception of the spicy beef and rice. It’s still good, but it sort of rules out ordering other items, since they’re basically the same. Another drawback is the waiting. Like I said, your food is always given to you hot and fresh, but you have to be patient, especially if they’re busy. Overall, it’s a great place to order some take-out on those«lazy» nights or when you’re craving some simple Chinese food. More of a 3.5÷5 than a 4, but I’ll give them the extra half star. Nice owners, cheap food, big portions, good taste, not bad for a small take-out kitchen.

Orange chicken and over Pan fried noodles. Enough food for 2 meals. Call ahead, they are sometimes busy and have only 2 employees cranking out great Chinese food.
