This is a decent breakfast spot with a cute, southwestern hacienda-style design, serving anywhere from crepes to omelettes to waffles and such. Their crepes were very good. I was duly impressed by this unexpected spot in Fresno. Contrary to what other Unilocal reviewers may think, it is very enjoyable dining amongst the older crowd. It can remind all of us to remain more grounded and humble while enjoying a nice meal amongst neighborhood patrons.

I have been to this place only 3 times so far but every time has been a 5 star experience. This place is busy so you may have to wait, but believe me it is worth t! Huge portions, the best breakfast of your life, and some great atmosphere! The wait staff is very friendly and efficient and again I cannot stop talking about how amazing the food is. My friends and I always like to build our own omelettes! Give this place a try!

I went here this morning for breakfast. We were seated right away and the server was on top of his game. Always made sure we had what we needed. Great place to take the family for a Saturday morning breakfast.

People like Andre C. are the reason restaurant workers earn tips– he is a rude, cynical asshole who gives every restaurant a poor rating(take a look for yourself). He may not enjoy going to restaurants, and I know restaurants don’t enjoy serving him. Now to the important part: the review. Fresno Breakfast House is a pleasant, small business that is owned by an extremely friendly man, Sam, who truly goes out of his way to please his customers. This restaurant works with what it’s got and they make it happen as best they can– even when assholes come in on a weekend with a party of 12, no reservation, and expect to get in within 45 minutes. Come on guys, open your eyes– restaurants have many of different factors that make them operate smoothly or slow them down. It’s a small-sized restaurant and people love to camp at their table when they are enjoying their time! The food is great– order your hash browns«crispy!» The lunch is underrated– the tri-top sandwich with grilled onions is so delicious! The service is wonderful when you’re wonderful too! The Breakfast House has numerous regular customers and anyone can see the special relationships between the service and the customer. They also have a beautiful new banquet room next door that can accommodate 150 people. Reserve your next baby or bridal shower, work meetings, and birthdays in their spacious new room. Enjoy the experience with a smile. :)

I really love this place. Its near my office so we come ever now & again for lunch. I always get the French dip(add swiss cheese) and cottage cheese on the side. They’re just so tasty together. My friend & I both add a side of their amazing homemade potato salad. It SO, SO delicious! Reminds me of my moms. My only criticisms: they’re are a lot of older folks here enjoying leisurely lunch which is nice but I wish they would recognize people who are obviously in work attire and on a time table. We only have an hour for lunch and I always find myself looking around for our server, for our food to be faster, trying to get the check, pay, etc. I just need them to be a smidge faster so we can get back on time. Its over my $ 10 lunch budget however, it so much delicious food, we overlook budget & come in anyway. I’d love to see a coupon or some of the regular items(I.e. French dip) on a lunch special. That’s all I’ve got. Come in for lunch or breakfast. You won’t be disappointed!

The food is awesome, the service HAD been awesome, but around the start of 2016 they started telling us they wouldn’t allow substitutions for avocado. Not a big deal but we don’t eat pork so it had been standard for us to swap the«bread/pancakes» and any pork products for a little bit of avocado. So anyways the food is good, just don’t ask for substitutions.

My mother in law took my fiancé(her son) and myself to late breakfast early lunch. It was nice and welcoming environment. Being our first time there it was a great experience. Waitress was nice and I had 4 different workers come offer me a coffee top off which I politely declined because I didn’t want to get full. Our food was very filling and I loved the piano music playing in the background. Lots of plants around felt like I was eating brunch in a garden or at cozy grandma’s house. Other than my mother in law not being able to redeem 2 birthday coupons it was overall great. Next time I hope the weather to be warm to enjoy the foyer outside with water fountain. My mother in law met Sam the owner the last time she was there and took us next door to see the jungle safari bar area and the banquet room looked elegant next to that.

I go to Fresno breakfast house quite often with friends and take family. The food is excellent and for the most part we have great service. Matt is usually our waiter. He is so nice, pleasant, and professional. We have had a few issues with waitresses. My last visit Simone loudly told Matt that we would not be his table, she was putting him somewhere else. I ran a restaurant for ten years and you take that stuff to the back. We have seriously considered switching restaurants. But if it weren’t for Matt, I am sure we would. I go out to eat and relax not to be stressed. Management needs to have serious team meetings on professionalism. Matt can skip that meeting.

Had the BBQ bacon burger. It was good, not amazing. I also tried a few bites of the short stack pancakes, I enjoyed those. The atmosphere is real nice, real clean. I plan to go back and try other options.

First time here and thought it was very good! Our servers were friendly and outgoing, made us feel very welcome. My breakfast was a standard order of eggs with bacon, with two small pancakes(instead of toast) — eggs were perfectly cooked and the pancakes were fluffy. Friend had eggs benedict and he said it was delicious. Coffee was hot — even served in a festive Christmas mug! I’ll be back!

Today was my first time here and let me say the food was good. Service was not so much. The hostess was rude on the phone. You are not located next high Sierra grill. More like the Korean and Japanese grill. Then I was seated in a loppsided chair. The website said good attitude and all smiles. No smiles aurging about who gets what table. I waited 20 mins before I was acknowledge. A man finally took my order. Before he could finish another waitress said that’s my table. Seriously a simple thanks for taking the order and take it. Then they went in back to place the order she was bitchy there too. Another coworker flip my waiter off and told you FU. Then the whole time I felt uncomfortable with her walking by. Giving evil glares. I want to thank Matt for putting up with girls he works with and giving me the best service he could.

It’s Denny’s, with plants. Seriously one of the worst imaginable breakfast experiences I have ever had. Miserable white grandmas will consider this comfort food, but literally everyone else on earth should be terrified that it exists. Confused servers pouring over each other to claw for the next 15% tip from the geriatric crowd. Coffee that tastes like an airport lounge ashtray. Tiny ice cold cups of tap water, which in Fresno is noticeable when it’s not filtered. Our waitress seemed confused at our orders, and the food came out very noticeably cooked in butter, even though we had to be adamant about«no dairy» which really taxed her brain while taking our orders. This is a chop shop for the grandparents of Fresno Bulldogs(go Dogs! Paul George is a GOD!) who need to eat breakfast before they go to church(and their grand kids roll over in their dorm room hangovers). This place, if you’re not an old person, is not for you.

We got here at 10:15am with a 12 person party, 2hr hour wait(we were told only 45mins), place was not packed, food was ok and service was slow. not sure if they just had a bad day, but this was a pretty bad experience. the only thing good about this place were the people I showed up with.

Very disappointed in our first visit. Service was friendly but lagged throughout our experience. We Came in at 11am Monday Aug 24. We ordered french toast, eggs, and biscuits and gravy, simple items. Our food arrived, a few Bites in, we Noticed it had cooled Tremendously. After 15 minutes of waiting we could not find our waitress. So we just flagged down anyone who could help. We informed her our food was cold when brought to the table. Before i could finish sentence she bluntly said, «so you just want us to remake everything! «. I said no, i just would like my biscuits and gravy served hot. She removed it and brought back something even way more less appealing. More like gravy soup with a biscuit in it. Our waitress appeared with our check, with no mention of our food being served cold… didnt even ask how our meal was. A simple apology would’ve sufficed.

Thoroughly impressed by this breakfast joint, the atmosphere they create is outstanding. The décor is very colorful and full of life with a piano player playing charming tunes in the background. Now the most important part: the food. The eggs benedict on with bacon bits and with ham was quite good, although I think the ham was a bit undercooked for my tastes. The coffee is a bit expensive but it’s okay since the quality more or less matches the price. The other people in my group were quite satisfied, the service was fairly good as well. Definitely recommend this place to others and bring your mother here for breakfast.

First thing you notice when walking up to Fresno Breakfast house is the décor. It’s really cute. They give you an option to sit outside on the patio or inside. It was a little chilly the day that I went so we opted to eat inside. It took them about 5 minutes to find us a table and seat us which was not bad at all. Both the inside and the outside were pretty busy. We had about 2 servers one girl came to take our drink order and she wasn’t very nice but our main server was awesome. He tried to gauge the types of food we liked so he could make suggestions from the menu. I opted for the house scramble topped with salsa and avacado. I had a choice of pancakes, toast, biscuit or Biscuit with gravy to go with it. I decided to go with pancakes. So first my pancakes we were nice and fluffy. Not too heavy. They had great consistency. Trust me I have eaten at places that can screw up pancakes but Fresno Breakfast house did not fail me. My breakfast scramble was good as well but I felt like it was missing something. Maybe more seasoning. Whatever it was it could have been a little better. Everyone else at my table seemed to enjoy their food. Anywhere the food fell short they made up for it with freindly customer service. I think I will give fresno breakfast house another try in the future plus I have a free bread pudding that I have to reedeem for checking in on Unilocal so I will be back!

First time eating here and was super excited because I heard great reviews with their food. I was pretty disappointed in my order— California eggs Benedict. Now don’t get me wrong, it was good but it wasn’t amazing. I definitely wouldn’t make a drive across town for this place. I liked the artichoke addition and it was a good portion. The Benedict sauce could use some tweaking. Coffee was good and service was excellent
