Len’s Lawn Mower Service Inc.

So my lawnmower was running extremely lousy and shutting off by itself. I’ve passed by this establishment a million times on Shaw Ave and decided to take my lawnmower here for repair. Before heading out, I called to find out how much for an estimate. The woman on the phone advised me that they were Free.
I immediately drove down there and let her know I had just called and needed my lawnmower looked at. We engaged in conversation for about 5 minutes (very friendly btw), and then she took my lawnmower to the back. A couple of days later i received a phone call letting me know my lawnmower was ready? $ 86 for a dirty carburetor! ??
Wow, I was extremely pissed at both myself and the shop. I YouTube how to clean carburetor, and literally it was a 8 minute job. I could have done it myself. On my next day off I went in talked to the same lady from the initial visit. She told me it was $ 86 and i countered her with the agreement that I had only wanted an estimate first. I had to recall her of the day and conversation we engaged in. She apologized and amazingly reduced the cost by $ 30 dollars (Fantastic)!
To my surprise when Gary (repairman) brought my mower out, I did not recognize it. He cleaned it that good! I He even replaced my dog chewed handle for free! (1 Star in itself) Gary also walked my out and assisted with loading the mower. Overall very professional and friendly staff. My mower is running like new and looks brand new too.
Highly recommend the shop; please make sure you specify «Estimate» before leaving (lol) if you don’t want replay my scenario :)
