UGH, where do I start with this sad excuse for a McDonald’s? First off, let me say that I absolutely LOVE McDonald’s; Big Mac, Fries, Quarter pounder, McRibb, Shamrock shake you name it I love it. Sadly this fast food establishment needs some major major help! Customer service is a joke, restaurant is always dirty, and the line for the drive thru is always backed up, ALWAYS.
Just recently, Christmas day the family and I were sick of eating tameles (lol) and decided to get a late night dinner, There was approximately 15 cars in the drive thru so i decided to walk in and get the food to go. DENIED! Just as bad inside. One cashier working, one girl clocking out saying goodbye to entire staff as 8 people patiently wait for their food and of course a filthy restaurant.
Considering it was Christmas Day I cut the cashier some slake (bless her) but after witnessing how she serviced the two customers before me: either (A)she was having a bad day or (B) she simply didn’t care © new employee. Being the nice person I am I figured she was new and just didn’t have proper training to take a simple 4 item order. Frankly she was just rude, even after wishing her a «Merry Christmas» to enlighten her spirit. 18 minutes later I received my order and went about my way.
This is the first time I been back to this McDonald’s since the new one opened up at Market Place El Paso located on Riverside Drive. Sadly in the past 6 years of visiting this establishment nothing has changed. Wrong orders, cold food and rude staff. Love the newly built McDonalds and will not spend another penny at this hell hole.
P. S. On a side note this location is located right off the freeway so I know it’s super busy and what else would I expect, right? However it’s funny that In and Out is right next door and I’ve never had a bad experience there??? Makes you think, don’t it?

Filthiest McDonalds I’ve ever been too! The bathroom was disgusting, the counters covered in dirt and water and trash. There was a huge liquid spill in the dining area that one one seemed interested in cleaning or even putting cones around and there was a massive chocolate sauce spill going out the door that I had to hop over and no one marked or did anything about that the entire time I was there either. From reading all the other reviews here I’m really surprised corporate isn’t doing something. I’ll definitely never be going here again.

They should hire people that know how to read a special order ticket. This is a common thing now in fast food. Uneducated workers should get paid less than minimum wage as they have less than the minimum skills to do the job. Order taker Andre did a perfect job as I have worked at McDonald’s before and said wow he is a good employee as I reminisced on my days many years ago. Too bad the people in the back couldn’t back him up.

This location still sucks! It still has the same shitty manager too. She should have been fired 3 years ago, after the fly incident and the way she handled that. Laughing is probably not the best way to handle it, when you served a customer a dead fly with your Big Mac.
I had vowed to never return to this location, but I happened to be in the area and was wanting a Mocha Frappé, so I gave them another chance. I wish I hadn’t!
It was Friday nite at 7pm and there were 7 cars in the drive up line. Mind you there drive up is the type that once you are in line, you are fricken stuck there. Unless you are driving a 4 wheel drive, you aren’t getting out of that line. We sat in the drive up line for 45 mins for 7 cars. This was outrageous! That averages out to just over 6 and ½ minutes per car. Were they killing the cows, chickens and fish with each order or something?
We noticed when we paid and picked up our order, the same elderly lady was working both windows. No wonder it took forever if she was running back and forth.
It’s too bad that they have kept the same shitty manager at this location. She is not doing her job, as the place is filthy and the service sucks. Skip this location!

Food quality is good and the employees are on it with my order. But… I dine in to use wifi and all I hear is employees cursing and an uproar of loud laughter or employees will have loud conversations with each other. Although the place is clean and the seating is comfortable, the things that I hear from its employees is not professional nor suitable for a family environment.

Ray Kroc is turning over in his grave. McDonald’s was never to be run like this establishment. Slow service, poorly prepared food and a little clean up wouldn’t hurt.
With all the buzz of folks wanting a raise in minimum wage (which I don’t really have a strong position one way or the other), these folks at this location certainly don’t deserve it. Well that might be a bit harsh, let’s say they may deserve an increase in pay commensurate with experience. And with experience, I’m not speaking of when to pull the fries out of the oil when the buzzer sounds, but more so customer service experience.
There certainly doesn’t appear self respect or customer service are prerequisites of working at this location. The bottom line, McD’s food is standard throughout the country, this review is based solely on personnel and over all cleanliness.

Super slow service. Lots of people in the kitchen, but not making the right things. Friendly staff and clean bathrooms. One half of the drink stations dont work and when I was there they ran out of ice for awhile.

Everyone knows what you get here. If the oil isn’t fresh you get crummy fries that are unappealing and leave a rancid, broken down oil taste in your mouth. I’ve gotten to the point where I can tell simply by looking at the color of the fries coming out. The lighter the color, the better the quality. Actually, I’m kinda sorry that I actually have had good fries and know what they taste like (meaning I crave more if they are fresh). On the other hand, like last night, I returned the fries and saved some money.

Okay, this review is actually about the new «Premium Crispy Chicken Bacon Clubhouse Sandwich.» Leaf lettuce (instead of iceberg) adds is worthless and adds nothing to the experience (no texture or snap). My ‘beef’ is about the chicken. It’s actually very tasty but was smaller than the tomato slice. It competed with twice as much bun flapping around the edges. A terrible value at $ 5.00.
The part with the chicken was great but they really need to charge ½ as much or make the chicken much larger. The bun was a big improvement and reminds me of when I tried McDonald’s in France. Generally speaking, in Europe, the quality is much better because the French wouldn’t tolerate what we eat over here. They also have thicker and varied cheese options. Still, I didn’t buy this item for the bun but for the so called «Premium Chicken.» Guess I wouldn’t have written this if they had called it, «Chicken AT A PREMIUM PRICE Bacon Clubhouse Sandwich.»
Pretty disappointed with the value of this menu item and could have hit a buffet for a few more bucks.
Good thing I only hit this place a few times a year.

BTW: the biscuits and gravy are really good but on the salty side. Need to get rid of 50% of the salt.

DO NOT COME HERE. They are incredibly slow, and take their time serving food. I am so disappointed at the speed of this restaurant. Stay away if possible. And the employees are incompetent.

Bathrooms were gross. Hand dryer was not functional and out of paper towels. Floor was filthy. Walked into about 40 orders ahead of our own. At least we know our food will be fresh. One of the soda machines broken. Out of tea in the lobby and still haven’t refilled it. Homeless people sleeping at tables in the front.

I’m not a big fan of eating at fast food joints BUT when you are traveling cross country, McDonalds is always there when you need a potty break or a cup of joe! I’d rather stop by at a McDonald’s over a dirty gas station. Save your money. McDonald’s has yummy coffee. Sorry Starbucks, you’ve got competition for less!

DO NOT EVER EVER EVER COME HERE!!! Let me explain…
I work down the street from this location so every once in a while I will stop for coffee in the morning. It’s ghetto and run down but whatever. One morning I was running 10 minutes early so I figured nothing could go wrong with going through the drive through. There were 3 people in front of me and all I ordered was a coffee. I WAS IN THE DRIVE THRU FOR 20 MINUTES!!! no cars were moving, we were all sitting there, honking, people shutting off their cars all thinking wtf? 2 people had pulled up behind me so i was stuck there with no way out. When we finally started moving I asked what the hold up was and we all apparently had to wait while someone’s food was being cooked!
Stop right there. I have worked in fast food. When someone orders something that needs to be cooked you have them park and bring it out to them. You do not make an entire line of people sit there and wait for 20 MINUTES! When I asked the guy wtf he just shut the window on me. As if the wait wasn’t bad enough, they got my order wrong! It was a fucking COFFEE! How do you screw that up? So I had to pull out of the drive thru and actually go inside and have them remake it.
I ended up being 20 minutes late to work as a result of their ghetto, lazy dumbassery. This resulted in me being written up. I was supposed to get promoted this month and we have a policy that you can’t be promoted if you have been formally disciplined within the last 6 months. I lost a promotion because of this drive thru bullshit.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, when I called to get some information to complain the «manager» was soooooo ghetto that she actually threatened me and told me that if I had a problem I could come down there and say it to her face! So I went down there and confronted her on my lunch! I got the name and number of the Store manager and the name of the store owner. I called the store manager and explained the situation. Surprisingly, she was completely professional about it and even provided me with time stamped video footage to show my employer to fight my write up.
The store owner of this location is named Michael Augustine. Like I said, I work down the street and I tell every customer who says they’re hungry to avoid this location like the plague. I am in the process of contacting CAL OSHA to look into the disgusting safety hazards at this location and if I lose my promotion over this drive thru thing i plan on suing Michael Augustine for lost wages.
So that’s my piece. Seriously if you’re in the area and want McDonald’s that bad just drive to the shaw/​valentine location. Don’t bother with these disgusting, ghetto pieces of shit. You will regret it.

Can’t blame it on this particular location, but on Mc Donalds in general. Is it me, or are those breakfast biscuits with egg and sausage seriously smaller these days?
Fye on you Mc Donalds for charging the same amount and giving less. Are you trying to spare us the shock of too many calories or what?
We discussed this in the car after eating our mini biscuits, and came to this conclusion. The new/​improved smaller ones cost the same as the old, bigger/​better ones, because they have some guy in the back trimming the excess off the biscuit and sausage patty, and most likely trimming the egg as well. So the labor costs have gone up. If I were homeless, I’d be checking out the trash out back for those scraps.

I wouldn’t doubt if this place drops the hamburger patties on the floor and then serve them to you. This place is dirty including the employees.

Crappy McDonalds in a crappy part of town. They seem to be out of a lot of things often, and the place is dirrrrty. Go elsewhere.

This is McDonald’s. The food is your basic McDonald’s food. I Entered the lobby after 9pm. It as filthy. The cashier noticed that I was taking photos, and rushed over to clean up. There is no reason for it to be this dirty, even if it is McDonald’s.
