The food was very good. I have no complaints about the food. However, our server, Rebecca, was inattentive, oblivious, etc. She never once checked back with our table after bringing our meal, never refilled our glasses, didn’t respond when asking for the check, didn’t return to pick up the credit card and basically ignored us.

Service was good but food was marginal!!! Steak was ordered medium rare yet came well done. Took 10 minutes to redo order which came closer to medium rare but not yet correct. Meanwhile everyone else in the party were nearly finished with their dinner. Very bad experience! We won’t be back!

I have had several dinners and lunches at the Limelight. It is a nice venue, providing a quieter environment than many others. Meals are consistently well thought out and prepared. Nice wine list, with rather pricy for single glasses. Excellent personable service. Highly recommended.

I have to hand it to Trip Advisor for recommending this restaurant in the first place. I had absolutely no idea it even existed and must’ve driven by 3 million times — it’s kind of like the hidden gem of Fig Gardenland. I refuse to give exact location because if you can’t find it, more for me! :)
It was a full house when my family and I arrived and it did seem that it had mostly older folks (and it may be because it is a long-​standing business which says a LOT). Unfortunately, we were dressed like bums on a Saturday night because, well, Saturday, and I was worried that we were waaaay too informal to eat there. I quietly asked the host and he absolutely guaranteed that they had no code but did admit that the older crowd that night did maybe make it seem as such. He warmly welcomed us in spite of our apprehension.
We ordered the filet mignon and HOLY MOLY! Melt in your mouth and perfectly-​cooked. I don’t even remember the last time I had a FM that awesome. The waiter was attentive and responsive, quick and efficient. Pricing was exactly what I would expect from a quality restaurant, and overall, our experience was fantastic. And like Arnie says, «I weel be bock.»

This place is on the fancier/​pricier side — excellent service. The house salad, bread, and calamari strips appetizer were simply amazing. By the time the entrees came out, there was little room to devour it. Great atmosphere, overall a nice place to have a special dinner.

I love this place. Today they served warm bread and butter! It was heaven! I ordered the fried chicken and it was very tasty and crispy. I loved it! Mashed potatoes were like my mom used to make. My husband had the lamb sandwich and although he thought it was good he likes the prime rib dip sandwich better. You can’t come here without ordering the sweet potato fries! They are so good.

I travel a bit for work, so finding a good restaurant is a nice treat at the end of the day. This place is my new go-​to when I’m in Fresno. They do a nice business and are open late, which is handy. The food and service are quite good.
The first night, I had the prime rib and a salad. The meat was cooked to perfection and the accompanying veggies (grilled carrots, onion and julienne squash) rounded out a lovely meal. Don’t forget the seasoned horseradish for the meat!
The second night, I was running late for dinner (after 9pm) and luckily they were open. This time I had the fried chicken (my measure of a good restaurant). Piping hot, the chicken was crispy and delicious. Same vegetables as before and the whipped potatoes are perfect for picking up all of the crispy batter that comes off the chicken.
It looks like they have a full bar, but I didn’t order any alcohol.
I had the same server both nights (Noelle), who remembered me when I came in the second time. Ask for her. She’s very friendly and attentive, without being overbearing. She also told me they have a lunch menu, which unfortunately I won’t be able to try this trip.
Pricing was reasonable. There is a parking lot in the back, which was a little tricky to find (behind the Walgreens). There is no big sign telling you where the restaurant is.
So, if you’re in Fresno or traveling to Fresno, give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed. If I could give them 6 stars I would.

Terrific dinner. Everything was cooked exactly as expected. Our server was not only pleasant, but very attentive. In my opinion it’s the best in town!

The chefs, the owner, the staff have got to be number 1 in Fresno. We love the seafood salad it’s perfect every time. We also have enjoyed the freshest lobster in town at the lime lite. The food is always perfect, the staff always knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you for being here, it’s a lovely time every time.

Ordered the hamburger steak lunch. Menu states it comes with fingerling potatoes & wilted spinach. I was served wedge fries & a vegetable medley. If you can’t serve what is on the menu don’t print it!!!

Had dinner there this week and everything was amazing! Our server Clint was on point! We were very well taken care of and the food was out of this world! I had the New York with the mushrooms and potatoes, so yummy! Can’t wait to go again!

My oh my such a fabulous experience! Made last minute reservations for my birthday gathering for a party of 14 and they were quick to accommodate us to their banquet room that was nice and private (which was perfect for us since we were rowdy lol) the wait staff was fabulous and food service was quick. Our friends who came late and ordered after got their food just as quick as ours, which was awesome! What great service! Everything we ordered was on point! From the ahi tar tar tacos, to prime rib, to new York streak was cooked to perfection. will definitely recommend and will be returning for sure! Very please with our over all experience! Thank you Jake and Clint for your wonderful service! Clint nice moves! Lol

I’ve moved back to the Fresno area for a short stint and always wanted to try out the Lime Lite. An old friend joined me here for a 2 hour weekday lunch. Echoing a lot of the reviews: the interior is dark and has an older, established ambiance. Moderately high noise levels, but still easy to have a conversation.
We were seated immediately by the hostess and our waitress soon followed. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. While our waitress did have to ask the chef to answer a couple of our questions, she was really very good and we wanted for nothing.
Our meals arrived in very timely fashion and at the right temperature. Presentation was very good and the portions were healthy, without being crazy big. I had the Calamari Monterrey — nice cuts of calamari fillet in a white butter (Beurre Blanc) sauce. I’ve had Calamari Monterrey in other restaurants (including in Monterrey) and was expecting something different — this was very rich (blew my diet for a week) and equally good. My friend had the Pastrami Reuben and while she was anticipating (and hoping for) New York deli-​style (it wasn’t), she was still really pleased with the meal.
Pricing was slightly on the high side for lunch, but certainly not expensive. Overall, very good food and service — can’t go wrong here.

He New exactly what my tastebuds wanted and it was my first time ever going there, I turned 21 last Sunday, he gave my date and I free top shelf shots for my belated birthday! that’s right BELATED BIRTHDAY. I am a bartender, I may be new the the bartending game however I’m by the book but I’m thoroughly impressed with the Lime Lite

We were in town working the auto show and we asked locals for suggestion on where to dine. Quite a few people recommended The Lime Lite in uptown, (only a quick Über ride away). We decided to check it out and boy! Are we glad we did! Fabulous food, fabulous people, fabulous hosts! Thank you Brandon, Corey and Clint so much for the wonderful service! Definitely try the Seafood Cocktail… you won’t be disappointed. And for dessert the Apple Cobbler was to die for! Delicious meal along with a great staff and great conversation with some wonderful Fresno locals!

Love the atmosphere here and they have great service. I’m more of a cheeseburger person so every time I come here I order a cheeseburger with mushrooms and …soooo delicious!

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Fresno. The food is always excellent and the service is top notch. I have been coming here for years and never been disappointed.
