Haven’t been here in awhile, but just as good as we remember. Pilaf is some of the best I have ever had! Food is great!

Best lula ever, the pilaf is insane, and he has the best burgers in town for around 7or8 bucks. All that and the service is top notch with a full bar. What more could you ask for?

Best Greek food I’ve had in Fresno! I had the veggie plate which came with hummus, pita bread, and pilaf. Husband had the lamb shawarma. We both ate every bite. The owner is a crack up and super inviting, we are definitely going back.

Awesome! Just like the other reviews. Friendly, spectacular food. Be prepared to relax and don’t be in a hurry. Other patrons are friendly as well. I am from out of town and wasn’t sure I wanted to go in because from the outside it looks suspect. So, I went and looked up the reviews and said what the heck. It was what they said it was. Not the best décor, but who cares when the food and service tremendous. Highly recommend.

Love this place! It’s so different and that’s half the fun. If you need a place to be new and perfect, don’t come here. The décor is wacky, the paint is chipped, it feels old and worn and the regular’s at the bar seem sketchy but when you get past that it’s great! The owner is so warm and kind. He greets you with a loud«Hello my friends!» even though he just met you. Everyone is right that you shouldn’t be in a hurry. We were there at least an hour and a half, but if you have the time it’s worth it. The beer was cold and the food was AMAZING! I really like good armenian food so I got the chicken kabob and my husband ordered the ribeye. We got the salad that comes with fresh warm slightly toasted fluffy bread. Dipping that in the dressing, sooooooo good. The salad was fresh and the crisped pita on it tasted better than most croutons. My kabob was terrific, it came with rice pilaf with garlic sauce on top. I love the garlic sauce from house of kebab and this was close to that. My husband’s ribeye was cooked perfectly! It was so much food he couldn’t finish and I stuffed myself way too much. We will be back!!!

Really really good burgers and decent steak! Wouldn’t go here if I was in a hurry, but if you don’t mind kicking back and having a few drinks while you wait for them to prepare your meal, then it’s worth a try. Also, I had to try several times before finding this place open, apparently their business hours are flexible.

Great service, kitschy atmosphere, and bargain pricing for delicious food! The visit was outstanding and the owner took great care of myself and my family the entire meal. He makes a mean martini and the pilaf was exquisite! I’m still feeling the effects of said cocktail as I type so hopefully this review makes sense haha. All in all, very good restaurant!

Turkish style coffee is what gets me there. I love it! Food is delicious and the owner is really a gem. I highly recommend this place to meat eaters. Surprisingly interesting menu, for a Steak House.

I’ve been here once before, well over a decade ago, and did not have a good experience. I came here today while waiting to get my tires rotated and my opinion has been changed. GREAT service. The bartender is awesome; he has great customer service and a great sense of humor. Good pricing. Good food. Garlic sauce is DELICIOUS. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is that the salad dressing tastes like bottled Italian, which makes me sad when eating Mediterranean food. If you haven’t been here, give it a shot. Great, welcoming environment. Support some local business!

I went there yesterday. The place is a gem. The owner is a super nice, warm and happy man. There was a group of gansters that came in and he knew their names as well as a group of sweet older ladies. The owner is as authentic as they come, plus the t –bone was large and my margarita was full. I wish him and manchester steak house many blessings. It just seemed like he put his heart and soul into his restaurant and it made all the difference.

I love this place! Great old school neighborhood vibe, good Middle Easter food, and then there’s Armen, bellowing out«Hello my friend!» and meaning it. I always get the Shish kebab, the mrs. rotates. Go with the flow, and you’ll have a good time.

We were pleasantly surprised as we stepped into what looked like a 70s movie set with maroon vinyl booths and lighter maroon walls with neon signs. They even have a old tube TV in the corner of the bar, and lots of vintage memorabilia randomly placed between the Liquor bottles. Enough about the décor the owner told is he was waiting for the cook who turned out to be his son. He showed up about 10 minutes later, took our order with a thick Armenian accent and came out of the kitchen 15 minutes later with what we agreed was one of the best burgers either one of us had ever tasted!!! We will definitely be back to this little hidden jewel, tucked into the corner of the Manchester mall

We stepped off a Tour Bus while visiting Yosemite looking forward to a good steak lunch. While standing in the waiting room to be seated a heavy handed waiter/owner ran towards us rudely pointing his finger at my wife shouting, «Stand Back!». We quickly retreated to the restaurant entrance he followed us and said«THISIS A RESTAURANT.ITWILLTAKE20 to 30MINUTESTOGETYOURFOOD!». We were shocked, a little, afraid and left the restaurant. But because of his terrible attitude, we immediately returned to report his RUDEBEHAVIOR to the owner. He almost body shoved me, again pointing his finger and shouting, «YOUHAVETOGETOUT!» We walked around the corner and talked to another business owner and found out, «that he is like that!.. always wants his way!» and he is the owner. HERUINEDOURVACATION! ALL I can say is that you should NOT visit this restaurant! Manchester Steak House has a depressing unhappy atmosphere located in a run down dying empty mall. Wonderfully tacky décor with aloof management/service. They don’t really make it ‘your way’ here. I once had a great burger from there(someone had ordered take out for our group). A month or so later, I decided to go check it out. Located at the south end of the dying Manchester Mall, it’s a dark hole with dark browns and reds, cheesy late ‘60s velvet wallpaper and décor. it was kinda cool. The Russian or Slavic owner or partner runs the place and when I entered, there was absolutely no one who noticed. I sat myself down and no one even looked in the dinning room for almost 10 minutes. Finally this colorful gentleman comes out takes my order then goes back to make the food. During that 10 – 15 minutes I waited, a couple wandering in from the mall came and sat waiting to be recognized/greeted but never were. They finally got up and just left. When my food arrived I told him what had happened and that they might want to poke their head in the dinning room a bit more so they didn’t loose business. Interestingly, he didn’t even seen to care and kinda blew me off. LOL Anyway, the simple alteration that I requested on my burger was ignored completely. It had very little mayo on it. Things definitely move to a ‘different drum’ at this place and it’s no wonder it was completely empty. A bit sad to be so indifferent about customers and pleasing them. Why run a restaurant if you’re so totally indifferent? There’s no need to go back. –G

Best tri tip!!! Best Philly Cheese Steaks in town! It’s a two man show, sometimes its a one man show! they have fresh fresh food, so your gonna wait a little bit. It’s worth it! If your a fan of rice pilaf, or Armenian style food, gyros and what not, you will love this place!!!

You’d never guess by looking at the place that they serve one of the best hamburgers in town. Odd burgundy décor and darkly lit, this place is bizarre. Two brothers run the place, and they are super friendly with thick Armenian accents. Full bar, great food. Think Steaks /Hamburgers /Mediterranean food. I always get a Hummus appetizer before my burger, and it rules. The burger is huge, with an amazing fresh pita style bun. Amazing! Service is a little slow, but it’s OK, as all orders are made fresh. This is where the full bar comes in handy. You have to give Manchester Steak House credit where credit is due, after all, they’ve survived a Red Robin opening and closing across the way from them, and they continue to thrive in Manchester Mall.

Eine Küche mit griechischem Einfluss. Das Essen war gut und reichlich. Der Pilaw-Reis ist zu empfehlen und das Steak war wundervolle gebraten. Am Ende hat uns der Wirt noch einen guten Cognac offeriert.

this place has very good food. But if your are short on time don’t go. Its a 2 man show and sometimes only 1. Usually they have a decent amount of business so getting your meal can sometimes take awhile. But this is one of my favorite places so i am not dissing them in any way, just putting it out there. my favorite entrée… BBQ chicken rice pilaf bowl!!!
