Love coming here on Wednesdays after class for their $ 1 tacos and ice cold Modelo on tap. Their shrimp tostadas is also very good. Javier, one of their workers, is so friendly and makes a great flan.

This place is good for what it is. It’s small but the décor is cute. The salsa bar is nice and they have different hot sauces available. The food always tastes fresh. I like the shrimp cocktail and the wide selection of items they offer. They also sell beer. The service is always friendly.

I eat here about once a week. The staff is friendly and fast, and the asada is always fresh and tender. I recommend the #7(2 taco combo plate w/rice and beans) with asada and a cold corona dressed with shrimp and hot sauce. They also have a great happy hour every night. Can’t beat 10 tacos for $ 10!

I ate here the other day and it tasted OK. I will not be going back though purely because he charged me for something I did not ask for. He told me why it was 1.20 high after I asked and he said he was adding french fries to the burrito. It was good for the most part but I don’t agree with adding a charge without saying something. He had already charged the card making it hard to fix so I let it go. Mexican food is hard to find over here so guess I’ll be driving if I want it

There’s not many open on Sunday. They’re not bad in a Sunday. Seafood cocktail needs work and micholada was a bit watered down. Overall just okay.

Some friends and I had lunch at this place a few days ago. I ordered the carne asada and shrimp tacos. I was not very impressed with them. They were fairly small and a bit overpriced in my opinion. Both meats were«meh» for me. The carne asada was tough and overcooked, the shrimp sparse. Only two tiny shrimps in each taco. I did like the salsa bar though. There was a variety of condiments such as onion, cilantro, pico de gallo, limes and radishes. They also offered a good choice of salsas as well.

I’ve been eating at Mariscos Colima since the trucks first showed up at Chestnut & Clinton. I love the sit down spot out here in the Sunnyside area! Good, affordable food!

Too pricy! Almost $ 8 for a Torta plate with fries and a drink. The torta had minimal toppings. The meat was barely there. Only lettuce and tomato as toppings. Torta tasted bland. And the size of fries it came with was a mockery. First all there was like 10 fries. No flavor and they were cold. I would not come back due to poor product and too pricy for what you get.

Stopped by here after a friend suggested it while I was passing through town. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and didn’t rush us through the ordering process when we looking over the menu. The food came out quick and I was impressed with the food. It was pretty standard taqueria type food, but that is a good thing. The portions were large and the price was cheap, a great combo. Also, check out the tamarindo drink. Most places serve overly sweet, almost syrup like tamarindos. Their’s tasted much more like tamarind, a pleasant surprise that complimented my burrito.

Mariscos Colima is a Mexican fast food-type place with excellent food and reasonable prices. It’s super clean and cute with a friendly atmosphere. It’s made it into my lunchtime rotation — I’ve been about a half dozen times and it definitely beats out the Bobby Salazar’s Taqueria across the street.
