Good Food. My older brother took me there when I was visiting for a short time. I just got the phở combo and the x-large. Coming from Green bay, WI I was expecting what I get here, but wow were the portions ever so generous. I was afraid I wouldn’t finish, but I did and left happy on a full stomach. Loved it. Will be back when I make my way there again FORSURE! Thanks!

Service, as noted by others, is so-so. Avoid the usual lunch hours if you can. The food is good, and the owners are nice. It’s my go-to place, as I teach at FCC. There are lots of good phở places here, so I’d give Phở 90 a try.

My husband went here tonight to buy me phở since I am sick. He drove across town, per my request, because this place has the best Phở. Problem is he got ripped off and that seriously angers me. He walked inside and placed his order with the owner. The owner talked my husband into ordering the XX-large, which is $ 3-$ 4 more then the regular size. My husband agreed and the order was placed. Then a second guy came up to my husband and told him they only offer one size in to go orders. My husband told him that the owner said that he would need the larger size. Then the second guy told him that he probably needed a second container of broth for another $ 3. Seriously? So he walked out of the place paying almost $ 15 for a freaking small amount of phở. What a rip off. I would drive across town to go here, but after this experience I will never go back. I can save my gas and have Phở north of Herndon.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would! The service is so extremely terrible. I get it, it was lunch time and it’s busy, but a lot of places won’t have you waiting 15 minutes to take your order. We had to go up to the counter to put in our order because we waited so long. While waiting for our food, I noticed that two different groups, that came in after just me and my boyfriend, had their orders taken AND got their food before we did! When the second group got their food, we just got up, told the lady we were leaving, and walked out. Any other phở place wouldn’t have even taken 5 minutes to come and take your order! WORSTSERVICEEVER! Never going back.

Before, I liked their food but hated their customer service but now that they have new owners, food is better and customer service is on point! Food came out looking and tasting beautifully delicious! Definitely hit my phở cravings. The owners were so friendly, greeted my husband and I with a smile and never did we have to ask for anything because they were on top of it. Let me mention that they also take credit/debit, which is a plus! Will def go back to this phở joint.

Phở is like cereal, pop tarts, oatmeal and egg scramble, where its a breakfast staple for the vietnamese people. Its basically how people start their day. Since Phở 90 opens as early as 9 am, Phở 90 is the perfect place to have a nice bowl of hot breakfast for under $ 10 especially on a rainy gloomy day(which is rare in Fresno California). My personal favorite is the my bowl of breakfast soup served with flank steak, tendons and tripe. Everyone usually judges a bowl of Phở from any place by its broth, because essentially that is where all the flavor and taste lies for this dish. A good phở broth is crystal clear, like a French consommé. For phở bo(beef), there’s the underlying earthiness brought on by the long simmering of bones, oxtail and flank. The broth at Phở 90 succeeds in having a nice clear broth with that earthy deep favored beef broth. The second component of the broth is spice and aromatics. In phở, cinnamon and star anise lead the charge, with assists from cloves and cardamom. Roasted and/or charred onions and ginger are the key vegetable components. In my opinion I thought the flavors was on point with the spices, maybe some spice flavor was stronger than others, but not a major issue, I still think the best flavored beef broth is from Pho75−2, but that is just my personal opinion, nevertheless this place is not inferior in anyway to Phở 75 – 2. A bowl of phở usually comes with herbs and vegetable garnishes and also other condiments usually placed on the table like at Phở-90. The most important thing to do when a bowl of phở lands on your table is to take a sip of the broth a resist yourself from messing this broth with sauce and greenery from that garnish plate. Sip the broth and savor the complexity. Appreciate the time that has gone into this pristine liquid. If you did that you would know that the taste of the broth here is simply delicious. The noodles here is standard with everywhere else, so Im not going in depth with it, while the meat here has been tender and the taste is really of good quality. I honestly love the broth of phở here, but I wont go as far to say its the best in the world. The interior is seriously dodgy, but the establishment is clean. The banquet area is spacious and is made perfect for a group eat. They use to be cash only, but they have since been technology friendly and is now accepting credit cards as a method payment, talking about payment, I must also add that their prices is very affordable here, everything was under $ 8. So kudos to that. The service here is friendly, but don’t expect some 5 start service. Its without a surprise that I would be back.

The restaurant was slow so service was pretty quick. Loved the phở. It was light yet great. Only downfall was they never came back to refill our water, otherwise this place was great.

Good food. Quality of food has improved with new ownership. Now one can use credit card, not just cash. Love the phở as the broth has good flavor. Staff is always helpful and nice.

I always order shrimp Phở to go and it’s delicious ! It’s located near my home so it’s a quick pick up. I always add Siracha sauce with lime and some salt and it’s just perfect. I haven’t tried much else on the menu but I stick to what I like. The service is descent. Always greeted with a smile

In my ever-continuing quest for good phở I came here on Easter Sunday. The store was empty so the service was fast. I ordered one of the versions of beef phở(can’t remember exactly which one) and my wife had the seafood phở. We both thought the phở was«OK» which translates into«nothing that stands out good or bad». The broth was OK, the meat was OK, and the portions were good. The garnishments were fresh and consisted of the normal offerings — sprouts, basil, jalapenos, and lemon. The store was clean and is fairly big so it can accommodate a large group. Parking was good on this day but I can’t speak for a regular business day. My final opinion: There are a lot of places that serve better phở so I don’t see anything that will be pulling us back to this place anytime soon.

Dirty inside, fast service, smells like fermented food is cooked at time, tables are like rocking chairs, some tables can be overly sticky, food is not uniform, tried twice, both times surprisingly felt gross after eating phở.

My favorite phở spot in town!!! They have the best broth!!! My favorite dish is the chicken phở! I like the way they prep the chicken. Other places I’ve been will leave the skin, here it’s just the meat itself. They also serve fast and whenever I call my order in it’s always been ready as soon as I got there!!!

Always friendly staff and some of the Best prices for phở in Fresno. Their large bowl is a really great value! I only wish the place had some air conditioning as eating phở in the Fresno heat isn’t any fun. Also, if the place was a little bit cleaner, some of my more upscale family members would patron the place more.

Phở 90 continues to fill my cravings for phở. After suffering through SLOW service at Phở Bac Hoa Viet that is closer to my house, I’ve come to realize that I can get fed faster at Phở 90, even thought it is a cross-town drive for me. Arrived at 5:25; had my food by 5:33, fresh and delicious.

Some friends and myself decided to come to this place after our Yosemite trip since Fresno is the closest big city to Yosemite. We decided to check out this place because it is the highest rated Vietnamese restaurant in Fresno with 4 stars on Unilocal. I ordered the Phở Xe Lua, which is the extra large size phở. It was $ 6.25 and it arrived in a large bowl. The broth itself was«okay». It had flavor but wasn’t too flavorful. The meat was average quality, and part of the pinkish rare steak that was still cooking in the broth didn’t look too particularly fresh. The vermicelli had a slightly harder than usual texture, and it’s probably because it wasn’t cooked long enough. Overall, I thought the phở was a little below average. The service however was quick, and we all received our orders within 5 minutes of ordering.
