POORLYTRAINEDSTAFF, CRUMBLINGINFRASTRUCTURE Posting date does not relate to our actual stay date. This review is for March of 2015. We checked in about 4PM with very few other cars in their parking lot Out of 80 plus rooms available we were given the worst possible hot, noisy room upstairs on the West end of the building just a few feet from a freeway on ramp. Most hotels sell out their best rooms first to please customers, and insure repeat business. Obviously our check in staff member was under-trained, never stayed in one of their rooms in her life and didn’t know how the room numbers related to actual location on the premise. We were hot, tired, and in need of a nap before dinner. We were in no mood to trudge back down the steps, 200 feet to the office, carrying our bags, to ask for another room. They should get it right the first time. The room was a 1970’s hodgepodge of excessive furniture. The microwave was piled on top of dresser so no electric outlets were available for laptop use. We had to get an extension cord from our car and wrap it around a wall lamp to get power to the«desk.» The small«desk» was only about 24 inches from the end of the bed so ingress and egress was very difficult. Obviously, the folks that run this place don’t have clue as to what a business travelers needs would be. It may have been a nice place 30 years ago but has not kept pace with today’s traveler’s requirements. Housekeeping is very poor. Lots of dust behind the furniture. Breakfast was minimal, at best, with a chatter box staff member sharing duties with front desk. Suggestion: FINDANOTHERHOTELTOSTAYATWHILEINFRESNO

I’ll say 4.5 stars Clean room, good price, good breakfast(eggs, waffles, juice, toast, yogurt, etc) and right off the highway. The only problem was the faucet leaked and didn’t totally operate correctly when you were running the water. Not a huge deal but just a bit of a pain. The loss of a half a star is because the water pressure in the shower was lacking. We’d definitely stay here again though.

The clerks were very helpful. Emmylou accomodated my needs with a smile. Excellent customer service from her. The housekeepers were courteous, they greeted me when I passed by. The room was clean, and looks well maintained. I stayed in 201, it has a microwave and a mini refrigerator.

Don’t bring your tray to breakfast Old man will yell at you and tell you you can’t eat in your room. Hot and cold water don’t work right. bathroom smells like sewer. People live here and stay up all night. This is the second night woke up at 3AM in the morning person living next door kicking the door making death threats, animal noises 4AM call manager to stop it I guess they finally did. Talk to them in the morning they told me it was his sickness and they could do nothing about it. Looks like he’s been living here a long time and they know how he is was afraid of my car being damaged and physical harm coming to me and my wife. It’s crazy drama here!

Each and everyone of the staff here that I’ve encountered has been fantastic! All have smiles, friendly and pleasant to speak with! I like the price! Could care less about the lack pool size, or hot tub capacity or whatever else I saw a few negative comments about… The room with a king mattress and couch was PERFECT for me. Fridge, microwave, coffee pot and tv, all for lower than anyplace else I could find(even lower priced than the crack shacks over on hooker row overlooking the Scenic 99 Hwy) This is not the Ritz Carlton or Waldorf BUT it is excellent for what it is… With that said the only thing that a place like this needs to bring it all together is a hot female desk clerk that is there to answer your questions with a sweet voice and adorable smile!(Guys) They have that too =) She is awesome!!! I’ll be back here again for sure

This place is so much better for the price than their nighbors and cheaper for that fact. I only paid $ 86 after taxes using my AAA discount. Rooms are clean and more than enough for my standards! Refrigerator and microwave included unlike the rooms next door at the Country Inn that was several dollars more expensive. Oh and the TV has more channels than the country Inn. Supposedly they are run by the same people. But this would be my choice next time I’m in town.

well, its getting 2 stars because they didnt tell us that the pool was out. i would think that they would let their guest know ASAP that the pool is algae filled and has dirt sitting in it. when we checked in, the girl at the front said that the pool was being worked on. i asked if it would maybe be ready that evening or possibly tomorrow. she said she’d call me as soon as it was done. it looks like management hasn’t been touched or been near that pool in months! we were there this past weekend so it was pretty warm and a great day for hanging by the pool. my little niece, who was with us, kept asking– when can we go swimming? otherwise, the rooms were pretty basic and fairly clean– but nothing great. they did offer free breakfast but we didnt take them up on it. oh yeah– the pillows were AWESOME!

Would be a zero star if I could. Nasty nasty nasty rooms. Horrible service, front desk service was rude and disrespectful. Would never recommend staying here.

Stayed here for one night, and it’s a high quality execution of the moderate hotel concept. Spacious, clean rooms equipped with microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker and Wi-Fi. They actually have the routers in the rooms, so you get a much better signal than the weak-sauce network most hotels offer. The bathrooms are fine. Unremarkable is good for a bathroom at a $ 70/night hotel. The bed is comfortable, and I am very picky about hotel beds. They have a continental breakfast. I slept through it. They have a small pool. I didn’t swim in it. You get a newspaper. I didn’t read it. But all the essentials are there, in good shape, and then some. I’d definitely stay here again.
