Phở real, $ 5.99 for a big bowl of Phở? If you’re in the mood for some good Phở in the 559, this is the place to go! It is indeed a hole in the wall spot, not located in the best neighborhood in Fresno, but their Phở is definitely satisfying that will keep you coming back phở more. I love coming here because they’re not as packed at the times I’ve gone and service is pretty quick. Must try their Milk Tea w/grass jelly, so good! I love coming here with my BF when we’re in the mood for Phở. Highly recommend this place if you’re in this neck of the woods.

The young waiter was not so friendly or doesn’t seem to know how to handle the customers. Not friendly and taciturn-ish. The restaurant didn’t seem clean. Neither did the restroom. This is not the place I would come with my girlfriend. The dish of the spring rolls was not very clean and old. Spring rolls had a sad and depressing looking… and the ingredients inside of the rolls are very banal and slightly dried out. I didn’t like the spring roll at all and I won’t order them again. I had a seafood phở, that was as good as other Vietnamese restaurants, with fewer seafood. I don’t think I would come back again this restaurant.

My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in town. They accept Visa & MasterCard. Only phở dishes in town that I can eat without having msg side effects. Delicious coconut juice. I’ve always had really good customer service there… It’s usually an older Asian lady who is very sweet. Update: I took my nieces to have lunch with me and one of the nieces accidentally spilled her drink. The middle age man who works noticed it but ignored the spill. My nieces had to go ask the man for a rag and spent 10 mins cleaning up their own mess while their phở got soggy. I understand that it’s annoying when customers make messes like spilling their drinks or food but accidents happen so do your bare minimum as an owner/server and clean it up. Not just watch a 10-year-old girl get on her hands and knees on the filthy floor to wipe up the water she spilled

My first time to Fresno, CA and I love this place. Okay seating, great portions for the price. A top recommendation from me!

Tried combination phở and spicy chicken rice! Both did not disappoint. The place is not the cleanest of restaurants but the food is good. Service also can be slow at times except for the phở.

This place has some really good phở. I think I got the #30. The broth was very good, and they added the right amount of beef. The owners and cooks are also Vietnamese, which makes a big difference in my opinion.t. They also accept credit cards which I liked. I also ordered a honeydew boba drink. Typical restaurant boba, where it’s hard as hell and tastes like it just came out of the freezer. It still does the job though Only thing is that this place can be easy to pass by if it is your first time, since the shopping center it is in is very run down. Like others said, it’s really in a bad area. I’ll come back

#29 is the best here. When I used to live in Fresno doing real estate I used to huff and puff because there was no good phở place and then I stumbled upon Phở Saigon and fell in love with #29. It’s different from the regular beef phở. I like that they provide all of the condiments including the hot chili oil/satay. It really brings out the flavor of the soup. Their steam rolls are good too and the beef phở is pretty good. Don’t get the Large Beef Phở if you’re not hungry! It’s super bowl big! I most recently went back here while visiting family. The Food was still great but the service has gone down a bit. They do need to clean the place up a bit as well. Happy Phở-ing!

One of the few Vietnamese joints actually owned by Vietnamese people(and not Hmongs). I was ecstatic! Top it off, the waitress spoke Vietnamese as well, another plus! What may sound like low standards comes from dining in FRESNO and having faced difficulty finding an authentic Vietnamese eat. UPSIDE: Curry noodle dish and rice/pork/egg dish weren’t butchered, they were pretty tasty! DOWNSIDE: «Freshly squeezed» orange juice was gross — overly sweet and watery, so don’t order that! Stick to the water, but ask for a straw. Place looks a bit sketchy on the outside, but you’re safe… once you’re inside. So from car to restaurant, RUN.

Area is run down and scary looking, but by far best Phở in town. The crispy noodle(#72 or #74) is wayyy awesome too!

i give this place 2.5 stars. i love their food. ive never been disappointed here for as food quality goes. Their phở broth is fantastic. Better than most phở places in town. BUT their service… not so great. our waiter brought us waters for everyone. my cup was extremely dirty. i’m not saying i saw tiny little piece of spot on the cup. i’m talking it looked like it never been washed. and the worse part is that guy acted like there was nothing wrong it. i told him i want a new water because i’m not drinking out of that cup. and after our food came out, not once came to our table and asked us how we are doing. the restaurant didn’t look all that clean either. there was a lot of flies and bugs. i even found a bug in a hot oil jar.

I will NOT return here. With all the raves from friends i decided to try it out with my bf. My bf and I arrived around the same time as 2 other tables. Took almost 20 minutes to get our menus. I look over and one of the other group has already gotten their water and spring rolls. Sat there for another 15 minutes before I had to flag someone down to take our order. By this time. The other 2 groups that walked in is already eating. They bring out my phở. No water or anything else. We had to ask for water and bean sprouts for my phở. 10 minutes later my bf’s pork plate came and then our spring rolls a little later. I was so irritated that I couldn’t even enjoy my food at this point. The phở wasn’t all that great. Home made noodle mama would’ve tasted better. My bf did enjoy his pork plate. He loved the glaze they put on it. Had to pack the springrolls to go. Didn’t tip them. Was actually contemplating on a dine and dash. Lmao! Kidding. But I wouldn’t return.

The food and atmosphere is okay, typical of any Asian restaurant. I remember when it first opened… it was nice and clean and the servers were very friendly. A lot has changed since then! Honestly, I feel the service and quality of the food has gone down hill.

located in a rough area of town and the shopping center has gone downhill significantly in the last couple years. if you’re a manicured suburbs kind of person, you will be decidedly uncomfortable here. but, i think its one of the best vietnamese restaurants in fresno. broth is savory and light. no msg as far as i can tell. spring rolls are fresh.

In terms of Phở — mediocre… Not enough noodles, but the meat was fine. Fresh, but not Phở 75 #2. The sauce on the spring rolls was overdone on the fish and underdone on the peanut. Service was fast and attentive. I’ll go back, but only if the quantity of noodles increases.

This place has decent phở, and that’s saying a lot since I have had some of the best tasting phở’s coming from OC. I usually order my beef on the side, and this is where I docked them a couple of stars. The beef is cut way too thick, and most of the time the beef is old! I have never had beef slices that have lost most of their blood and red color until I ate here. Another gripe about this place is that the service is non-existent. You walk in, you seat yourself, and you have to go upfront to get a menu yourself, and then you have to wave someone over to come take your order. I also tried the Com Tam Suon Nuong(Rice with pork chop) here once, and it will be the last time I order it. The pork chop tasted like it was marinated in salt water and it was over cooked and dry. If you want some good com tam, you need to go to this place in OC called Com Tam Thanh Kieu. Hands down best com tam ever. And yes, it’s worth the 4 hour drive from Fresno, lol.

Their broth is delicious. Not oily at all like Pho75. I love their chicken phở here and their beef phở. All their broths taste good and I am never disappointed. The waiters on the other hand always seem to get into my bubble. They don’t really come to check up on us, then again this is an Asian phở restaurant we are talking about. This is also probably the only phở restaurant that takes credit/debit cards. All other phở restaurants are cash only. The only thing I hate about this place is their horrible opening hours. They close at 9?! They are not open for business on Wednesdays, although I saw a poster advertising that they were open. I recently went there on a Wednesday and the place was CLOSEDCLOSEDCLOSED.
