My little visit to the Jones Brothers cart was unplanned and spontaneous for me. I often see this hot dog stand when I drive down ‘O’ Street by the Family Court House Downtown. So, today I made a trip to the library and I noticed the cart was out during the lunch hour. After my research was completed at the Library, I walked over to the cart and was greeted with such a warm manner. The person that helped me was one of the owners named Anthony. I told him my whole story of how many times I have seen him and how I came to be there that day. I ordered a long Nathan’s hot dog, and Anthony convinced me to get the combo, which also includes your choice of chips and soda. Then when I paid, he gave me a promotional card… which Anthony punched 5 times on my first visit! I placed my own toppings on my dog and hung around for just a bit because I really enjoyed the smooth jazz music that was coming from the radio. I spent $ 4.50 for my combo and let Anthony keep my change as a tip. But after reading the owner’s notes on this page before my review, I would have left a larger tip, because I found that the tips go to the P.A.L.S. association, and I make any effort in supporting the Police force and the children. I was welcomed and my hot dog was tasty.
