Food is great just disappointed how much the prices increased… For this reason I won’t frequent this place often anymore. I know they moved to a more expensive location but I didn’t expect prices to jump by as much as they did, just not worth it for me.

Attention to Owners !!! You will not last at this new location with this horrible service and increase in price and smaller portions … That is three strikes against you. Let me let everyone know that there is no owners or mangers on site only a young person here to fend for herself. With that being said let me tell my fellow Unilocalers my takeout experience that just happen tonight on 2÷26÷16. My wife called in out order and very simple order 2 Tomis special chicken salads and one spicey crab roll and a spicey tuna roll. They said food would be ready in 15 – 20 minutes we arrived 20 minutes later then the time they told us our food would be ready and it still wasn’t ready and they told us they ran out of tuna so they didn’t make the tuna roll ! So we had to wait another 30 minutes for our food, keep in mind this is over a hour since we placed our takeout order over the phone ! This place is a joke, it’s a Friday night and the place was dead and it still took over a hour for a takeout order ! I will give the owners some free advise you will not make it a year with this lack of service on this side of town. Not sure why I didn’t just cancel my order and get a refund, the food was not good tonight crab tasted old and the salads were small, to add insult to injury they forgot the wasabi for my sushi ! Will not go back EVER

Food still the best at the new location, but the prices were increased quite a bit. I know it’s a nicer restuarant and area but 2 to 3 dollars more per items is a little ridiculous. Love the food but won’t go there as much or at all because of the high price increases.

My wife and I went here on a Wednesday night and I ordered a spicy chicken rice bowl (formerly a #7 Tomos chicken) and my wife ordered a beef/​chicken combo with tempura vegetables. First the good: if you had ever eaten and been a fan of their food at the old place on Bullard & First you will be happy to know that the food tastes the same — at least for the two items we ordered. The décor of the restaurant was nice and looked very modern. And now the bad: we went on a Wednesday night and it was neither busy nor slow. However, we placed our order at 5:57 and got out food at 6:22 — 25 minutes is kinda long to wait. It was mostly because, as in the old place, they only had one person working the register and getting the food and delivering to the tables. Also, we sat right by the kitchen door and from what we could see, it didn’t look like the cook could multi-​task too well as he prepared one order at a time. Also, be prepared to pay 20% more than what you paid at the old place. My chicken bowl which used to be $ 7.99 was $ 9.99 and so our total order with two drinks came to a little over $ 32 — a little steep for a serve-​yourself-​place. Also, they have ONE of those new soda machines that has 150+ variations of sodas. So you can’t just go up and push the button and get a drink as it is quite a process to select what you want so there was always a line — again, it wasn’t very busy. Also, when I went up to get a refill, for some reason, all of the diet soda options went away — ALL OF THEM — we were in somewhat of a rush to get out so I didn’t ask what the problem was. I’ve always liked Tomo’s even before when it was Tomadachi’s but for me, the prices and wait times are just not worth another visit.

I’m so happy that this restaurant opened up! They had a store at First & Bullard, that so go! Now they are further up in the north end of Fresno! They have awesome food, a little pricey but that’s okay! I haven’t had any problems with what I’ve ordered! Very good! Only reason for not 5 stars! Price‼

I have to admit, I was a little disappointed with our experience. The portions were very generous, but you definitely paid for it. All of our food was very very sweet, I think it was the white rice. It just wasn’t for me. We ordered the red dragon roll and it was not what was brought out to us, but we never saw our waitress again to fix it. The Spicy Tomo Chicken was not what I expected. It had an artificial taste to it and was cold.

Had Shrimp & Veggie Tempura and Sesame Chicken on Rice. Portions very generous and important to me was hot. It was our first time there and employees were very helpful. You can have a choice off Tempura Veggie and I tried them all, all were very tasty and the Shrimp very good. The Sesame Chicken was outstanding and a large serving. All items we had were off the Lunch menu. Speaking of menu it was large with items you would expect.

Same great tasting food as before. Also, their staff is super friendly. However, they did increase their dinner prices pretty significantly which I’m not a fan of.
