I have been here several times over the last few months and this is at least the 3rd time I have paid with cash and not received the correct size. I would assume it’s so the employees can pocket the cash. One other time I know for sure that was the case because I was in the store and not the drive through and I watched the cashier pretend to enter the order and charge me a different amount than what it should be. I let it go mainly because these are high school kids. This time was the last straw. I ordered 2 large drinks with a buy one get one coupon and received 2 small drinks but still paid $ 4.87. At this point I would probably drive the extra 2 miles and go to the one off of 121 so this doesn’t keep happening.

I had heard all the hype surrounding this place and was glad to see one open on the east side of Frisco. Upon visiting however, I was shocked to find that it is just like any other«run of the mill» shaved ice place. Yes, they offer a large selection of flavors and even sugar-free varieties, but at the end of the day, the product doesn’t taste that amazing. This place has easy parking and a drive thru which is efficient. The décor does make you feel like you are somewhere tropical and the board games they have for use area good gimmick. It is definitely a family friendly atmosphere and teenagers love it! This is a good spot for those hot summer days and nights, but nothing to go out of your way for.

I usually enjoy a good Bahama bucks but my snow had so much syrup that it was a slushy after I got passed the cone. Don’t get me wrong I love slushies but I had a yearning for shaved ice and didn’t want to use a straw. I tossed the last 1⁄3.

Ahh I love me some Bahama Buck’s! This location is great, right behind Walgreen’s on Coit and Rolater, so it’s never really crowded. I usually go inside and order in there. I went through the drive-thru once and it look forever. I wonder if they service walk-ins before drive-thru or something. They have so many flavors to choose from. Some are amazing and some taste nothing like they should. Like watermelon, don’t get that flavor. Reason why I’m not giving them a 5-star review… They had some Mexican flavors advertised on their facebook fan page and their front door, such as Tamarindo, Chamoy, and more. Only problem is… when you go in, they really have no idea what those flavors are and tell them that they don’t have them anymore. It’s really a hit or miss if I’m able to get them or not, because some employees know and some don’t. Ugh. I wish I knew where they kept them so I can just tell them where it is. lol. But now back to the positives. their ice is so soft! Like softer than anywhere else. Other snow cones, you have to dig and scrape. but not these bad boys. They also have punch cards that you get a punch for anything you get. It adds up! Yay! Now if I can get those Mexican flavors each and every time, I’d be a happy camper and they’d have a solid 5-star review!

I usually like the Frisco Snow Cone Lady for a really good snow cone, but decided it was too hot for the wait and stopped by Bahama Bucks instead. I ordered a small strawberry shaved ice with cream for my brother. He loved the fluffy shaved ice, and the small was huge. The place was crowded, and the drive-thru had a growing line, but we got our order very quickly. This place was much more expensive than the Snow Cone Lady, but the air conditioning and no wait was worth it. I was just a bit disappointed to see the extra«cream» was similar to just regular Olé whipped cream.

I have given this place several chances. Each time I wait at least 15 minutes for my drink with one car in front of me and an empty store! I’m done!

The snow cones are amazing but the service is SLOW! There were at least 7 employees working and I waited 15 minutes when there was no line. Plan on waiting forever!!!

Terrible service! Manager had everyone so stressed out. We waited more than 30 min and all the customers who came in behind us were served before. We will not be returning!!!

Snow cones are good but why does it take over 10 minutes to make one? Is it possible that they wait for Santa to bring snow from the ice pole? Guess we will never know…

Tried Bahama Buck’s for the first time today. I got a large snoball(Strawberry Cheesecake). The really soft ice and great flavor was a pleasure to eat. Unfortunately, the last 20% of my snoball was just straight ice. They didn’t pour enough syrup to penetrate all the way down. That was disappointing considering a $ 4 snoball. Mom and Pop snoball stands in New Orleans cost half the price and you get a full pour of syrup.

The sone cones here are made of snow NOT hard crunchy have no flavor hurt your teeth ice, but fluffy white fluffy soft snow. Today I asked for a regular and the flavors were, Cherry, Piña colada, pineapple. Extra juicy. They pour on the flavors like a collage student pours water at a wet T-shirt contest at spring break. The snow is very very soft its a combination between a truffla tree, a baby butt, and cotton candy, yes that soft. No crunch ice here. There are flavors for everyone’s palette, and if you like to choose by color then prepare yourself, it’s like a rainbow blew up on a Jackson Pollock painting of a kaleidoscope. They are served with a small handmade paper umbrellas from the Far East and a special spoons made from from the magic of Merlin and Harry Potter, the spoons are a robin egg tiffany blue but when they touch the cold snow cone they turn a dark royal mystic midnight purple. This just might be alien technology. This will be my new go to place for Snow Cones here in Frisco
