The store is generally well run and the staff helpful. The only issue is the pharmacy. Three times I received messages my prescription was ready and each time there was an issue that couldn’t be resolved leaving me to make a drive for nothing. The staff apologized each time but after the third apology it just seems hollow.

A very well run store where they always greet you when you enter and leave the front entrance. Donna and the rest of the pharmacy staff are all outstanding to deal with. Oh and if you’re a football fan, most of them are as well. Donna is from New Orleans and a huge Saints fan, so if you know anything about them, she will be your new best friend. Have never had an issue in the pharmacy of prescriptions not being ready when they said they would be. Don’t really go to the other Walgreens location in Frisco, which is open 24 hours, because this one is so close to the homestead. But I have never had a bad experience here since it opened nearly four years ago if I’m not mistaken. It’s a nice, clean store with friendly employees and great service, no that’s not too much to ask these days.

I’m really not a Walgreens fan since the prices are so high compared to Target, Walmart, etc. but when I don’t feel like walking a mile to what I need in those stores. I’ll stop here on the way home. I stopped in last week to pick up a bottle of wine and couldn’t find it for the life of me. When I asked the employee, he told me that they don’t sell alcohol at this location due to it being across the street from the high school. Lol. Off to the big retailer I go…
