Oh yes!!! been looking for a GOOD place and what I found here is excellent! I had the wedding cake as well as the ultimate chocolate, both were outstanding… and… the ladies working were knowledgeable and friendly.

I first noticed Cupcakes Cubed because of their unique cupcakes and the aesthetic of their shop. Upon entering, I found that they have huge cupcakes in all different types of flavors; red velvet, birthday cake, Oreo, you name it. Also, the prices aren’t that bad either; I think it’s $ 2 or $ 3 for one large cupcake. The cupcakes are fresh and delicious, the frosting can get a little sweet and they are pretty big, so if you want to try a few flavors without getting overwhelmed, I suggest splitting them with someone or getting the mini ones. They have other things beside cupcakes, I’ve seen macaroons and cake pops and I’ve heard they are both great. Overall, these cupcakes are great for satisfying a sugar craving or for someone’s birthday!

Very good cupcakes. I had the italian cream. Not too sweet, not too much frosting. Tasted fresh and moist. Cheaper than other cupcake places in Frisco.

Came here with my sister we were excited to try this place because the concept was cute. I had a lemon drop cupcake and she had the Italian cream to go, the cupcakes looked yummy but sadly lacking in flavor and texture. I say the shop is perfect it’s cute with how they display their cupcakes and macarons. But the actual product the cupcakes are dense and dry and the frosting to sweet and hard.

The cupcake taste is a solid C, but look very pretty. I purchased 6 different flavors and the family voted on their favorites. A good variety of flavors are offered and should please about anyone. I’m only giving two stars as the employees need basic customer service training. Hello, may I help you? Have you been here before? and a general desire to be there would be a nice touch. :) Business owner — don’t assume your employees understand these rules, please train them. This might be their first work experience and they could use some guidance.

Delicious, huge and variety of flavors to choose from. I wish the mini cupcakes came in more flavors. 2 people can easily split one cubed cupcake. Great to satisfy your sweet tooth… but beware, it is very very sweet! My little girl loves this place so we will definitely be back to try more flavors. Cute concept in the burbs!

I’m on the fence between 3 and 4 starts. I love the concept of cubed cupcakes because it’s unique. I bought some for a coworker’s birthday because they look nice and they offer a variety of flavors. They really did a great job with decorating the cupcakes. The downside is that they’re huge. It’s a little overwhelming for someone to eat one because you want to try the other flavors. Sure, you can cut it into pieces but it gets really messy with all the frosting on top. Also, it’s REALLY sweet. I have a sweet tooth, but I can’t handle these! The only solution I’ve found was to settle for the mini cupcakes. They don’t offer all the flavors of the regular size, but it’s a great option. The birthday cake and oreo ones are delicious. Still a little too sweet(because there’s so much frosting), but a perfect 2 bite treat!

I bought 4 cupcakes. Red velvet, strawberry, strawberry chocolate and Oreo. The red velvet and Oreo were soft but I would not call really moist. The red velvet was ok. I thought the frosting needed more cream cheese and tasted more sugary than anything. The Oreo I thought was pretty good. The strawberry was heavy and hard as a rock. What a disappointment! It looked so beautiful. And I’m a little upset that when I picked it up it FELT heavy and hard and she still gave it to me! Like I could tell the difference between the soft and hard one when I picked it up. That’s seriously just bad practice. My suggestion. If you go in there make sure you ask if it’s been freshly made that day. I would go back but I wouldn’t leave until I knew they gave me a fresh cupcake.

I was craving cupcakes today, so hubby mentioned there was a cupcake place on Eldorado we could try. We venture out around 4pm for cupcakes. Hubby went in while I waited in the car. It took him about 15 mins in the store to come out with three cupcakes. We tried the strawberry, birthday cake, & oreo. Out of the three, the birthday cake was the only one worthy to consume. I refused to waste calories trying the strawberry and oreo because they crumbled in our hands(super dry as if they are 2 days old) as we picked them up out of the box. Very disappointed because they were super cute and I love the way the icing is piped onto this squared cupcakes!

We used to love cubed but every time we go now the cupcakes are so dry! We keep going back though in hopes they’ll be moist and tasty but they never are. They also could amp up their vanilla frosting. Make it a little better.

They have a variety of fun and tasty cupcake flavors that rotate throughout the year. It’s exciting to see what fun new flavor they have each week. Carrot cake & coconut cream are my favorite. AND the Macarons are DELICIOUS!

I think my comments will echo a lot of what’s been said — I found the cupcakes to be varied in moisture, but none too dry. Still, the flavor didn’t really knock me out, and the focus definitely seemed to be on the frosting(this may be a plus for some people). They’re $ 3.50 each, which puts them into the territory of another noted spot for cupcakes in Dallas(I’ll leave them nameless, but they have a cupcake ATM), and these just weren’t in that category. Having said that, again, they’re not bad — we tried red velvet, chocolate and carrot cake. The red velvet were probably the best of the bunch, but really heavy on frosting. Carrot cake really could have been a bit more moist, yet the flavor was pretty solid. Chocolate was above average but, again, heavy on the frosting. For sure, these would be good to take to a party if, for no other reason, the novelty factor.

They’re okay, didn’t find them to be particular special. All I can remember about them was that they’re really expensive. My wife and I ordered the lemon drop, white on white, cookie dough, and the vanilla on chocolate. The cake part is very moist and the frosting wasn’t overbearing like a lot of places, but it was still too much. When we entered the store, the girl there looked like she was annoyed at having to serve us. She didn’t greet us or say thing. Just stood there waiting for us to tell her what we wanted. I think ordering is a bit awkward because the case of cupcakes separates you and the server so you can’t see each other. Our four cupcakes rang up to a little over $ 14. Bit pricey.

I was super excited to try this place. Who does t love a good cupcake? With a fun spin on them(they’re square aka cubed) I thought I would be ready to go back. But having gone on a Friday evening after dinner I was disappointed to have mostly dry cupcakes. My hubs and some friends took a few flavors home to try and there was only one that we agreed was up to par. At least we had milk to wag them down. There are better places in town to get your sweet tooth fix. Oh well. On a side note, I thought that the mini cupcake was cute and yummy!

I love coconut and it’s hard to find coconut cupcakes that are made daily at a cupcake shop. Cupcakes cubed has a coconut cream cupcake that I love and it’s there every time I go in! Yay! The cake itself is moist and the cream inside the cupcake is flavorful. I’m not a huge fan of the frosting. It’s a little dry for my tastes but I’m fine with that. Who needs the extra calories! The cupcakes are huge and not badly priced at $ 3.50 compared to other cupcake shops. They are big enough for both my boys to share one. They love the ultimate chocolate. I did try their tiramisu cupcake and was not impressed but that’s ok. I go there for my coconut cupcake fix. I have also had their macarons and they were yummy!

Like they say«Don’t judge a Book by its Cover» is an understatment for these cupcakes. I purchased one of every flavor for a party as they looked so pretty. The cake was tasteless and nothing to cheer about. The kids didn’t like them as I found particially eaten cupcakes left on the counter. One bite and they were done! Pretty looking but not good.

I love the interior design in this place. When you walk in you can see that they really incorporated their«cubed» concept into all of the shop. Cupcakes are displayed in glass containers when you walk in and they have a ton of flavors. They offer large sized cubed cupcakes, mini sized cubed cupcakes and macarons. I tried the carrot cake cupcake and the tuxedo cupcake both were good, the actual cupcakes were moist but the frosting was a little hard in my opinion. Cute cubed cupcakes, decent prices for the size and cute shop, will return when I’m in the area.

So delicious! Wish this place had a Philly location… Service is great. Some of the favors were out, but when asked she said they don’t make new batch until next morning. I think it is a good thing because they don’t have to throw out fresh ones or sell it the next day.

I went into their shop at 6:00pm today, 4/23, TWOHOURS before closing, and all they had were wedding/white and chocolate cupcakes. What?!I almost thought they were closed the shelves were entirely empty and there was no one out to greet me until I was already leaving again! Great way to make a first impression…

I came in on a Saturday and 2 people were already ahead of me. After I waited in line a bit, two more families came in behind me so I felt like this place was really busy and things look good as far as the popularity of the place. Right when you walk in you see a glass case of all the cupcakes. Very cute and styish, different than regular cupcakes. They are squared cupcakes, as you can probably tell from the name of the cupcakery. Then they have a nice decoration of icing on top. I decided on wedding cake. The cake itself, like others say it’s dry, I don’t think it’s dry because I have had dry cupcakes before and this did not taste the same, but it also isn’t as moist as I like my cupcakes. It was more fluffy if that makes sense. The frosting on top was perfect. I think for $ 3.50 you get a pretty nice sized cupcake. Nice to try out, but it won’t be a place I would drive to again. I was just in the area and decided to try it out today!
