We love Durkins! We lived in Mckinney and went to Durkins at 121 and Custer for a couple of years before living in little elm. We were soooo excited when they put one in out in Frisco for us to visit. We’ve been out 3 times in the last couple of weeks because it is so delicious. Much higher quality ingredients than chain pizza places with a fun atmosphere. I love the butter garlic rub, that’s very subtle on the crust, it’s just a delicious touch.

The pizza is pretty good but heavy on the oregano. The music is too loud obscure acid rock and doesn’t really fit for the burbs.

We typically go to the McKinney location but came across the Frisco one as I drove by last week so we decided to try it tonight. Durkins has excellent crust and the pizza tastes of fresh ingredients. They don’t do the little pizza dough balls for kids to entertain themselves while waiting for food; something they should consider. We had a large cheese and medium meat pie with 5 drinks was $ 34. Kid drinks are free so we really only paid for two drinks that mom and dad had.

Don’t be fooled by the 5-star rating. I want to be clear, this was some of the best pizza I had the pleasure of masticating. I want to be even clearer, do not eat this pizza. Clear? This establishment helped me realize that the pizza I usually subject myself to is middle of the road-mass produced-phoned in-no heart-clearly been under a heat lamp-weak flavor-half a**ed-sludge crap. What’s my point? All of these places once started as delicious mom and pop shops. I wouldn’t be able to take it if this amazing pizza shop turned into a successful pizza chain that lacked heart and let its pizza take a dip into mediocre-land. In closing, you should definitely give Durkin’s a try. But not too much so that it turns into another mass produced mediocre pizza that has commercials showing unrealistic cheese stretch and aggressive cheese stick dunking into pools of ranch and butter, or worse, ran-ter. Keep Durkin’s a delicious mom and pop pizza place by giving them your money. But not too much.

Solid pizza at reasonable prices — great for family and kids. Very friendly staff. A thicker pizza than a lot of places, and it comes with a ton of cheese. The cheese bread may be the big winner, with solid salad options to start.

We really enjoyed Durkins! The pizza was yummy, the drinks were cold, and the service could not have been better. The staff was so friendly and helpful! They gave coloring pages, crayons and free drinks to our kiddos which was so nice. Oh and the pizza came out really quick too. We will definitely go again.

Really good, blew past expectations. Decent beer menu as well. Loved the cheese bread. Screwed up our order but I’m blaming that on a newbie in the back. I would definitely go again.

Wow. Not sure what all the high reviews are about. This pizza is nasty. The crust is like dense tough play dough. The sauce is like Pizza Hut. We ordered five different pizzas for a party. The kids wouldn’t even eat the cheese pizza. I was disappointed as I had high expectations. Enter at you own risk and don’t believe the hype. This pizza is not good. I won’t be back.

Great pizza. That’s all it really has to offer(salads, beer wine too), but they do a good job at it. If you want pizza, give it a try.

Great atmosphere and the pizza is unbelievably awesome! The crust is like no other and you leave knowing you had a great meal. The owner Michael is very visible and mingles with everyone! Great job Michael! Glad to have you in our neighborhood!

Their pizza is so delicious! My daughter and I share the Four Cheese Pizza and my husband gets one with as much meat as possible on it. We usually have zero leftovers.

First impression was good. The place looked clean and comfortable. Large booths down the middle of the room were banked by tables and chairs. Big TV screens were turned to sports stations were nice and the place was quiet. It appeared there was only one young man taking care of the dining room but he immediately took our order for a house salad, medium hamburger, red onion and green pepper pizza. Salad came out quickly with dressing on the side as requested. A heaping mound of grated mozzarella disguised the rusty iceberg lettuce that was hidden beneath it. Ugg. That lettuce was not suitable for serving, not even to rabbits. We ate the fresh mushrooms off of the salad and they were wonderfully fresh making us wish we’d added mushrooms to the pizza instead of ordering the pathetic excuse for a house salad. As for the pizza, we prefer ones without a lot of tomato sauce on them and this one had only a slight glaze of it on the surface of the crust. Barely there. It was hard to tell if there really was any tomato sauce on the entire pizza. This pizza left us wishing for more sauce. The crust was thin and rather good with a big bready rim. Hamburger meat was obviously pre-pared somewhere off site probably but it was okay just not fresh. There was plenty of tiny diced green pepper, also probably prepared off site, and it was sprinkled generously over the thick layer of melted mozzarella. As for the red onion slices they were sweet and skimpy. There were maybe 6 thin slivers of onion fanned out from the center of the pie. Why bother? It was like a tease. The taste we were left with was basically that of a cheese bread that was thin in the middle and thick and chewy around the rim. It wasn’t amazing in any way but we were hungry so we ate it. Well we ate it for a few minutes until the place was overrun with appeared to be a swarm of miniature soccer players fresh from the field with too few adults to control or contain them. Following this first group was another and another. They were like wild beasts and very efficiently drove us out of the place abandoning our half eaten, not so terrific pizza. Diners be warned — even past 8 pm this place is kid friendly but not so friendly for the adults trying to dine there. Oh well another Frisco dining establishment scratched from our list. Very disappointing and not worth a return or a take out.

Looking for the best pizza in Frisco??? Don’t look any further, Durkins is finally in town!!! This location is so convenient, and it’s huge! We love their pizzas and particularly the chewie, soft crust, honestly is my favorite part especially with a side of marinara. Their salads are plenty and so fresh and they have the best tasting honey mustard dressing. Their staff is always friendly and very accommodating, oh and the music rocks!

Durkins has been recommended to me many times and, with the opening of the new location in Fieldhouse Village, I finally tried it. The restaurant is clean, great atmosphere and comfortable to sit and have a family meal. The pizza is very high quality, which is rare nowadays. High quality, however, also meant very rich and heavy. I will definitely try it again, but this time with light sauce. The butter brushed on the crust is very good, but the pizza as a whole was unusually doughy at the ends, making a heavy pizza even heavier. I found myself eating it from the inside out, and stopping about halfway as all the dough and sauce pooled on the outer edges, almost making it inedible. While this may sound critical, it was still a very good pizza and restaurant to eat pizza. I’ll just have to play around with how I order it. Will update if I see it get even better.

Michael Durkins, you magnificent human being! You’ve done it again. So great to have Durkin’s now in Frisco. Stopped in here after FC Dallas practice nearby one day around lunch and decided to partake in the lunch special of a small pizza and a drink for well, I don’t remember the price but it wasn’t an arm or a leg or anything like that. I got the Meat Pizza and after about 10 – 15 minutes, I got my order and off I went. Let me tell you, this pizza was incredible. Toppings were not only quite plentiful for a 10″ but they were also quite fresh. Sure, it was a bit greasy, but I didn’t mind one bit. A simple dusting of red pepper(which I put on every pizza I eat pretty much) was all it took. Most definitely will be back here and again, great to have Durkin’s in Frisco proper now. Have been to the McKinney store on Custer a few times but good to see business is good and him continuing to expand because the man makes a damn good pizza.

One of our favorite pizza places even closer to our house! Thanks, Michael Durkin! Tonight we finally discovered the new location had opened and dined in. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious as usual. I love the buttery garlic crust and perfect amount of cheese. I am very excited we can now pick up to go and it will still be hot when we get home! This is a great place for families, couples or friends to hang out and listen to music or watch a game. Most importantly this is honestly one of the best pizza places in the area or anywhere, and we are very pleased they continue to do so well that additional locations are opening. Whenever possible we tell others about this locally owned business. It is way better than any chain. Welcome to Frisco!
