Probably the best pizza in Frisco, and one of only 3 that we’ll consider when looking for NY style pizza in the metroplex. Per my scientific analysis, it’s 89% similar to pizza you’d get in NY. I’m from the northeast(Philly) and have had my fair share of pizza in NY, so trust me on my calcs. Crust is pretty similar, sauce/cheese ratio is on point usually. Taking off a star bc it’s never ready when they say it will be for take out. Staff is ok, a bit on the slow side.

Pizza and Pasta were ok. Good family place and the service was what you would expect. I really enjoyed the complementary beer or wine. I will go back again with my family and to pick up as well.

The pizza is by far the best around. They blow chain pizza joints out of the water. I ordered take out from here for years until I moved too far away. But I just recently moved back to the area and its again my #1 pizza place in the Frisco area. It reminds me of the pizza I would find back home in New Jersey. Pepperoni and garlic, YUM. Also, I really don’t order anything else besides pizza, but recently I ordered the garlic cheese bread and it was really good, too.

Finally, I encountered pizza I can fold. I know that I mentioned another restaurant that has the best New York style pizza in Texas, but that was because I hadn’t tried Luigi’s yet. It’s not as good as the pizza I used to eat in New York, but it’s not bad either. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and plan to eat here again while in the area. So, this place has the best pizza I have eaten in Texas. :) The fried zucchini and pizza was delicious. The woman at the counter who took my to-go order was friendly. If you’re Frisco, you should definitely try their pizza!

Today I tried out Luigi’s for the first time. I ordered a Stromboli, drink, and a salad. I stumbled upon this restaurant after I checked out a discount site. So you may be wondering why I gave them such a low score. For the quality of food, I would say it’s close to 4 stars. But I was overcharged. I didn’t want to start a scene. But I could tell this was not an accident. See many restaurant owners try to add things to bills because they think they can get away with it. I know what I should have been charged. And at the end of the day, I know that I won’t return to this establishment. Why? Because people who over-charge are unethical. Maybe it was just a few bucks. but it cost you a new customer. Good luck and be careful if you decide to dine at Luigi’s Pizza and pasta.

This place is what me and my husband is looking for. Lived in Germany for 5 years sometimes when you come back in States you’re missing those good places for pizza and pasta. And at Luigi’s you can never go wrong. Food’s awesome!!!

Luigi’s is my family’s go to place for pizza. However, my husband and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat after a boring party, and were rushed out the door at 9:30. I realize they close at 930, but it was extremely rude to turn the lights off then back on a coupe of times while we were still eating!!!

Pizza is good. Chicken Parmesean and appetizers tasted like they came out of the freezer and were zapped in a microwave, bleh. Would only go there for the pizza.

While not the best pizza I’ve ever had it’s definitely the best in Frisco, & their employees are always friendly. They also have dynamite calzones that are big enough to share.

Finally found NY style pizza! Ordered a cheese pie for takeout. Reminded me of being back home! Now if I could find a place that makes grandma’s style pizza like Long Island

Best NY Style pizza in DFW — PERIOD! We always order too much, so we can take home plenty of leftovers. We’ve become weekly regulars because IT’S THATGOOD. Their pasta is excellent too, so don’t miss out. Sodas are Coke products, so bonus points for not cheaping out with Pepsi. They’re closed on Mondays, which is the only negative I can find.

If you are looking for a nice«little Italian restaurant» then this is the place to come to!!! They have the best lasagna, pizza, and everything else you could possibly dream of… you will find your mouth watering from this place at times and that’s how you know that the food is truly fantastic! The lady who is behind the counter is also very sweet so you know that you are getting great service too!

Lunch menu is good, 2 slices of on topping pizza and a drink for $ 7 including tax. Service was fast and pleasant. Food was hot and cooked perfectly. Their pizza is thin and not overly sauced with good flavor. Booths show to be worn with some seat to have holes in them. Overall, dinning area appears to be clean.

I am a native New Yorker, and grew up in NJ. I have to say that Luigi’s is the best, the best pizza in Texas! let me say that again, it is the best NY Pizza in Texas. The pizza reminds me of home!!! make sure you check into Unilocal to get a free app, as long they are still doing it. I have been eating at Luigi’s for many years now and they never let me down. awesome food and awesome service!

We came here on a weeknight not knowing what to expect. The windows are heavily tinted and once inside, it was packed. It is a seat yourself order at the counter, get a number type of establishment. Plenty of people got takeout from here while we were there. There are booths on the side a a lot of large parties that pushed tables together in the middle of the restaurant. It is definitely a family friendly place. I had the chicken marsala and fried ravioli appetizer. The fried ravioli was great and you get a lot of them with your order. The chicken dish is where it went down hill. The sauce was bland and salty and the chicken did not taste too fresh. It came with some pasta and the sauce was so thin it fell right off of it. We also got a pizza, which was decent and thin authentic east coast tasting. My advice would be to stick with the pizza and appetizers and stay away form the meat and pasta dishes.

Yumm. The baked ziti ny was really tasty! It was like a pizza and pasta put together. The eggplant parmigiana was good as well :) A tip about the baked ziti: there are two kinds of baked zitis: the regular, or the New York style. In the NY style, there is a LOT of ricotta cheese– whereas in regular there is none. A nice place overall :) Decent interior and good, average priced food.

Great selection(and pricing) of their pasta dishes, the pink alfredo sauce is pretty good though I’d have to say my favorite is their traditional red marinara sauce. Robust flavors, it packed the right punch. Their pizzas here are good as well, kids enjoyed them thoroughly!
