Stopped in for a cheap, light buzz after dinner, and was not disappointed. Nice little divey bar in a small mountain town, with perfectly acceptable staff, decent prices, awesome homely-feeling décor, and a fun vibe. Wanted to have some drinks on the cheap, and we got just that. Music was pretty loud on a random weeknight, hard to hear and chat.

Great local dive bar in downtown Frisco. Super cheap food and beer, especially for a mountain town. I had the chili which was good on a cold day. You can tell this is a locals hangout by the friendly people coming and going. The service was very friendly and attentive. I just wish they had more selection in draft beer however but for $ 3.50 a pop you can’t complain too much.

Dive joint but good bar burger. Very busy on my visit and one waitress doing it all. Props to her for good service!

The jaw is a must stop for a burger and a beer. The fries are excellent as well. They even have New Castle my favorite

Moose Jaw has the honor of my first 1 star rating. Really mediocre food and awful service are two descriptions for my experience here. We waited for 1.5 hours for 3 burgers; all of which were very meh. The patty was very dry and the fries were burnt to the crisp. The toppings were less than memorable as well. The ski resort burgers are far better(though, twice the price, unfortunately). All things considering, I would probably rather go to a fast food burger joint than Moose Jaw. The quality isn’t much worse and the prices are much better. Avoid Moose Jaw at all costs.

We randomly and drunkenly wandered into this place on the trek to the condo and I’m so glad we did. The female bartender was great and friendly! We had so much fun playing pool and fuse-ball and ended our night with a karaōke duet of «summer nights». :)

I drove down here from Denver for my buddy’s 24th birthday and my 22nd. We arrived late and wanted to go out. Moose Jaw was the only bar open. Once we walked in all of the locals gave us some strange looks, as well as the bartenders. We sat down to order. My friend asked if there was any way to get a birthday shot. She just got a stupid look and no answer. We were all very disappointed in the service. I will not be coming back here. So if it is your birthday do not come here if you are not a local

Best dive bar in Summit County — a lot of locals, cheapest beer in town, friendly no-frills staff … The burgers are excellent. I love the Jaw.

I am incredibly disappointed with the Moose Jaw. My boyfriend and I have lived in Summit County for quite some time now. My boyfriend has lived here for 6 years now and I have lived for 3 years. This week, we decided to visit the Moose Jaw for our first time. Neither one of us has really spent much time there before. We stopped by to play a couple of games of pool. We had our 20-month old son with us. There were also a couple of other people there with their children as well, who happened to be employees of the establishment(their children were approximately 7 years old and 5 years old). Not to mention, the bar was empty. At 9:45, we were told we needed to leave, because children could not be there past 10 p.m., which is totally fine. I completely understand. However, I happened to be in a conversation with the mother of those children at that time. The cook, «by the name of Frank» is the one who told us we had to leave(even though everyone else in the establishment was okay with it). At 9:50, he started to yell at us, because we had not left yet. I was still in conversation with the mother of those children at that time(who explained to me that she has never been kicked out before because of her own children). I was really upset, because I felt it was unfair because I was being targeted. I was being told to leave 10 minutes before 10 p.m., which was the time the gentleman told us we had to leave. Why do I have to leave 10 minutes earlier than the mother of the children of an employee? This was completely unfair to me. I will never visit this establishment again. If you have children, don’t even bother. It’s obviously not a children-friendly place… despite it claiming itself to be a «restaurant.» I am incredibly disappointed with the Moose Jaw. Other«restaurants» in town would have never kicked me and my family out of their establishments. The bartender that was working at the time, was incredibly nice. In fact, because he had a son that was 5-years old, he gave us a pool stick for our son to play with. The cook was a total jerk to us.

Stopped in for a burger and fries. I was disappointed with the burger. I ordered the Jaw with the works. The burger arrived with a mustard package laying across the burger. The burger was med-rare. The works were not fresh. The fries were good — that was worth 1-star.

We decided to stop here to get out of 70 traffic and I am happy we did. This place is great to have a beer and shoot pool. We didn’t eat but the burgers smelled delicious. The atmosphere was chill and welcoming. Ma Moose(owner) seems like an awesome lady from the article on the wall. I would definitly come back and grab a burger next time.

Avoid fish and fries. It tasted like 3 times fried and 3 times frozen food. Small beer selecting. Unusual for dive bar. Great, low profile atmosphere — like in good dive bar

Came in after a long day at Copper. Great dive bar, but $ 8 burgers and one busser for the entire place? Ok I’ll admit the burgers were pretty good. Everyone who got«The Jaw» said it was great. The Brown ale on tap was also meh. Not sure if I’d come back, probably go to Ollie’s next time.

It’s exactly what everyone else describes it as… a nice little dive bar in Frisco. If you are looking for something to do some evening, it is definitely worth stopping by. The staff is friendly and the drinks are cold… what more do you need.

So, the food ain’t the greatest. What did you expect?! The kitchen is the size of a closet. That being said, if you get a chilliburger when all you wanted was plain, they won’t charge you extra. Tip well, they’ll probably give you a free shot. With cheap pool tables, this is a great place to meet other ski bums.

Bar-tender had a heavy hand. Stiff, cheap drinks!!! Excellent dive bar! Pool tables, good juke box, friendly service(worthy of note, the bouncer/person at the door was even vey friendly…), friendly patrons — some girl took me jacket off and said welcome, it was funny. Dark, music, sports on ESPN, snow falling outside… look out the window at the snow, take another drink. Best dive bar in Frisco — by far.

How many times have you heard this: «I really wanted to love this place.» Dive bar, cheap PBR, burgers. Sounds like a recipe for success, but every time I go I’m left disappointed by the burgers and the beer selection. If you like PBR or Coors, and you want a $ 10 burger, this is your place.

A local dive is always a cozy place to hang out when traveling. If you are friendly and engaging. If not, go to Applebees and spare the locals your attitude. LOL VERY limited beer selection… Lite and PBR drafts and just a few bottles. This is in a state chock-a-block with awesome micro and craft brewers. Pretty lame. The good news is the food. Limited again, the menu is tiny… but the focus is good. Bar food done right. Crispy fries. Crispy fish that is not greasy at all. Toasted buns. I like the fish sandwich. :)

A group of friends and I came here after doing a hike just up the street in Frisco. We were in serious need of Coors and Burgers stat. We had passed this place earlier in the day and was recommended to come here. This place is a total dive but hey we love dives. We were grungy from traveling and hiking so we fit right in. We all ordered burgers and Coors… perfect combo. Place was nice, food was good and the price wasn’t bad. I would come back for sure if I was in Frisco. Perfect location.

This is definitely a locals hang out, not so much for the tourist — i.e. myself and family. They just have PBR and Coors on tap, that’s it. They have a better selection of bottled beer, but I can always buy that at the store. I didn’t try any meals there but their appetizer selection is SMALL — fries, chips & salsa. It’s a dive, which is never a bad thing, but this didn’t have anything that would encourage me to go back.
