I used to go here a lot in high school, so when I was in a rush I thought why not. I needed to get my nexgen taken off, which should normally take only 20 min or so, except it took them about an hour since they kept leaving me. Then while taking them off the lady kept cutting my skin and would grab my hand when I would flinch. They then started to give me a manicure, which I said no to in the first place, and that was just horrifying experience. I asked her to cut my nails shorter and she said no cause it wouldn’t look good… I didn’t realize I couldn’t decide for myself? And when it came to painting my nails she rushed them and when I asked her to fix them she said that’s okay and kept going… Now my nails look like a five year old painted them. To make matters worse while I was paying out she asked about tip… I will not be going back.

My sister-in-law took me here to get my nails done for my birthday. Her sister and friend have been going for awhile and the older lady(mom) does their nails and always look good. Well, the youngest daughter did my acrylic nails, since she was the only one available. She wasn’t to thrilled to do them and she left 2 of my nails thicker than the rest, some weren’t straight and after a few days my hair was getting caught up on the edges of the nails. I will never go back there again to have them done. If i wasn’t pressed for time that day i would have had her correct them.

Hands down best place to get a pedicure. I went with a friend on a whim and I am so glad. The price is comparable to other salons averaging at $ 35. This includes soaking, exfoliating, nail trim and clean up, massage, hot stone and paraffin wax. When my friend and I left we were super impressedwith how meticulous the women were with massaging each leg, and polish. Pedi looked perfect after two weeks-going on three. Awesome place!

I redeemed a groupon here for two manicure/pedicure packages for about $ 29. Great deal sounded like it was too good to be true. There is a lot of construction in the area at this time so it’s tricky to get in and out of. Probably a good thing they had a groupon special or else I wouldn’t have ever tried this place. We had a 1:00 appointment and when we arrived early they were able to accommodate us within a few minutes. Everyone was extremely friendly, and drinks were offered but we never received the water we asked for. No big deal our hands were busy anyway. They did the sales pitch for upgraded services at about $ 5.00 to $ 10 more, we upgraded to one of the higher pedicure packages but kept the same basic manicure. Our pedicures were started right away and as other technicians became available our manicures followed. The technicians were very talkative and friendly, it felt like they really try to get to know their clientele. They have a TV, fish tank, and a cute Cockatiel that whistles. I normally don’t get my nails painted because it never stays longer than a few days. It’s not the salon it’s just me and how hard I am on my hands. No difference here, the polish looked great and I loved the color, there were no speckles on or around my fingers. The polish lasted a little longer than I had expected and then I changed the color. My french pedicure has lasted much longer. Overall very pleased with both.

I have two places in Frisco that I go to for my nails, and I’ve been to other places around Dallas for the Gel Nails with an American Manicure. Today I stopped at Pure Nails because I was interested in inquiring about the eyelash extensions and permanent makeup. I sat down to have my nails done, told the lady I wanted An American Manicure with the Gel overlay. They said they can’t do the Gel Nails with an American Manicure, they can only do the Gel Nails with a French Manicure. ??? I’ve only had this done a million times, so I’m not sure what the issue with them was. I told the lady the French Manicure/Gel Nail would be fine. As she prepares her stuff I’m looking at all the Hand Painted Nails on the wall. I pointed at one that looks like a french manicure except it had glitter in the white part. I asked if she could do that and she said she could. She also said, «Its powder.» I was like…‘okay’. Then she acted a bit annoyed, got up and came back with more ‘stuff’. She goes to work on my fingernails and I drift off watching tv. Next, I hear the rattling of the box of tips. She is opening up tips to glue onto my fingers! I look at my nails and see she has cut them clear down! They look awful! I asked her what the heck she is doing… she said, «You said you want powder». I said, «NO, I said I want that glitter»…and I pointed. She said, «Yes, powder.» I said, «NO, that’s a TIP, pointing at the tip she was wanting to put on my fingernail. Anyway, to make a long story short. They charged me the cost of the manicure plus 5 for the French Manicure, I didn’t want in the first place, and to top it off they charged me 3 for taking off the old gel nail. I was offended and absolutely still in shock over the whole thing. My nails are trashed after one night out for dinner. I knew I was blowing $ 20 bucks for absolutely nothing and well, I was right. This is the reason why I get Gel Nails. They actually last and you don’t have to go through all the trouble of having them use Tips. I recommend this outfit become better versed on what the heck they’re doing and give credit when they mess up! I’ll have to go tomorrow and spend money/time on getting my nails done properly and I guarantee you this isn’t the place you want to entrust with tattooing your eyeball or glueing eyelash extensions on. If something screws up, you’re on your own and they’ll expect you to pay full price for it!
