Just had the misfortune of bringing my family to this Panda Express location. We have had great luck at other locations in various parts of the country. This time they were out of several dishes, my chicken and green beans was actually green beans and onions, the teriyaki chicken took them 20 minutes to prepare, and the sweet fire chicken breast had the thickest hair that may have been a pube in it I have ever seen. When I pointed out that the green beans and chicken had no chicken the employee said«it’s just hiding in there» it was hidden very well because we left an hour ago and I still haven’t found it. When they replaced the sweet fire chicken I got a bowl of hard rice back with a few pieces of even harder chicken sprinkled on top. I guess they assumed I had my fill of hair prior to getting the new bowl? When you’re in front Royal virgina find somewhere else to eat. Unless you’re into hairy vegetables or something.

Friendly staff! Pretty clean inside including bathrooms. Don’t have to wait long and food is fresh unless of course you hit a lunch or dinner rush.

It’s ok food in opinion but my main gripe for a chinese food place there is no sesame chicken. I just havent been impressed enough to keep going

Getting really upset about this location. They stop cooking around 45 mins before closing so when you get here to eat you either have to wait for them to cook to order or they refuse to make it for you. That’s not the way a business should run. They are never happy when you come in half hour before closing. Just do your job guys come on. Calculate how much food is needed till closing then there shouldn’t be much waste.

The staff were so nice and helpful. We got stuck in traffic on 66. When we were finally able to get off it was 15 minutes to closing. They offered to cook anything we wanted since the food was pretty well cooked over. The orange chicken and chowmein were surprisingly delicious for fast food.

It’s defiantly not authentic Chinatown quality but as a fast food chain restaurant it wasn’t too bad. The thing that sold me the most was when I put in a request for fresh veggies and fresh veggie rolls and they cooked them up for me right then an there. They did have a nice selection from chicken, beef and shrimp. they even had soups that weren’t listed directly on the menu. Quite a few sides(the noodles seemed very popular) but I stuck with the fresh veggies. If I’m in a pinch for some hot food and limited with options, I would come back and try another meal here.

To call Panda Express«Chinese food» makes me shiver! How they stay in business, I don’t know, except it must be country folk who don’t know what Chinese food is supposed to taste like. I WILL say that I’m impressed with the display of fresh vegatables! I wish all restaurants would have such a display! BEAUTIFUL! How they can take that and make such awful food, I don’t know. Everything I’ve tried there has been awful, and it’s not this particular franchise’s fault, it’s the restaurant chain itself. It’s one thing to have«Americanized» Chinese food, but it’s another thing to make it taste so horrible and overcooked and charge WAY too much! 1 star is just because the buckets of fresh vegatables are beautiful. Their target audience is clearly people who don’t know what Chinese food really is.

Never eat here. Cold hard food. Nuff said.

Safe, predictable road food. Gourmet isn’t a word I would use. Clean, safe and somewhat healthier than the drive through joints… Their fortune cookies suck, they miss a huge marketing opportunity by bland, predictable pap. Just think of the possibilities!

Panda Express is your typical«fast food Chinese» like the kind you would find at a food court in a mall. Nothing special, but a good value for your money. My biggest complaint about this location is that it is hotter than H-E-2 sticks in there! It’s as if they set the air conditioning at 78 degrees! Perhaps this will be a good place to visit in the winter time, but during these summer months I won’t be back unless they adjust the thermostat!
