Nothing to brag about… But you do get what ya pay for… I had a sandwich with chips for $ 7… To that I say deal…

Coffee had a slightly bitter taste but it was better than average. We were disappointed in our breakfast pastries and burrito. Dry and rather tasteless. Definitely not homemade which is what I would expect from a smaller local non-chain type of place, especially considering what we paid. Nice front patio to sit and relax, and its a mellow yet friendly crowd. Would return but would not get any food.

Really good coffee and wonderful baristas/employees. Also, the baked goods are phenomenal.

I loved this place a few years ago. Came back while in town and wasn’t impressed. The breakfast burrito was refried beans and cheese, wrapped in a flour tortilla, then warmed in a panini press; no eggs, no bacon, nothing breakfast about it :(. The coffee is decent and served warm so it doesn’t burn your tongue off. The dirty chai is good, the latte is boring, and the breve was better than the latte. Great atmosphere though and good location :).

Colorado springs have frequent showers so you need a place to duck into to keep dry. Then again if it is dry Aspen has street tables and chairs to watch the local happenings. In either case amble up to the counter and order some coffee. If you have been cycling like so many folks in Colorado do add a pastry. They looks really yummy. Computer on hand, check out the wifi and review your emails. A nice place with good service, great coffee, friendly people and atmosphere.

Great little coffee shop! Service is friendly and fun. Just ask about Ms. Coffee hanging over the barista. Hahaha

We go out of our way to stop here while transiting I-70 on the way to/from Utah. It’s actually one of many great reasons to do your mountain biking in Fruita instead of Moab. Great coffee, great baked goods and bagel sandwiches. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Our truck is on auto-pilot to Aspen Street Coffee whenever we are near Fruita.

Haven’t Unilocald in a long while, but felt this was worth it… We were heading bak to Ca after racing Leadville 100MTB race & wanted a caffeine hit for the drive to Sandy, Utah. We stopped in Fruita since the town is known for MTBing. Mountain bikers all enjoy a good cup of jo! We found Aspen Coffee and Amanda blended up an awesome cold white mocha! Far better than bucks, great job Amanda! Go in and try a cold blended white mocha! I shudda bought 2… I guess it’ll have to wait till Leadville 2015! Amanda the Barista is from Ca too, so go on in and give her a hug. Read the sign on the register & you’ll know what we mean… Aspen Coffee is located in an historic bank, which is a great reutilization of an old building.

We just spent a weekend in Fruita. Went here for breakfast both mornings. We really didn’t care for their breakfast burritos. It was pretty much a gut bomb warmed up in a panini press. The coffee was really good. And the next day we went back for breakfast on a Sunday morning as it was the only place open at 7 am. We had bagel sandwiches which were worlds better. I had the ham egg and cheese and my brothers both had the sausage egg and cheese. Very tasty, and not too heavy before morning bike rides. We found the staff to be very friendly, and when we were asking directions to a trail, the lady behind the counter was very helpful and pleasant. We will be going back when we had back there again.

Whenever I’m in Fruita, I always stop by Aspen Street Coffee. The espresso is smooth and tasty. And, there’s good wifi to get caught up. The main weakness is the pastries. They need more diversity and more fresh options.

The coffee here is great, but the atmosphere is the reason for my less-than-stellar review. The baristas aren’t very professional. The last time I was there, they just hung out with their friends, being incredibly loud and inappropriate while customers tried to enjoy their coffee. One of the workers’ friends even had her feet propped on a table where people eat and drink. Isn’t there something that needs done around here? Like, could my sticky table get wiped?

We stopped in to fuel up for our return trip after a few days biking in Fruita. They were having some trouble with the coffee grinder so we had to wait a while for our lattes and when we got them they were a little on the weak side, but our barista apologized for the wait and explained the situation, and pulled us both another shot which greatly improved the situation. Cute coffee shop right next to the bike shop. Very good cookies!

A very charming little café/coffee shop. I had a bagel sandwich that was very good! It was a little pricey for what we got, but mine was so tasty on the everything bagel. My friend had coffee and the breakfast burrito. The burrito had eggs, cheese, chorizo, and refried beans. I had initially asked for the burrito without the chorizo but was told they were all pre-made :-(Because of this and the general price I rated it 4 stars. My good was good enough to give this place 5 stars.

Here a cute-n-homey coffee shop in downtown Fruita, Colorado, right next to the best bike shop in town(maybe the only bike shop in town, actually!). They don’t have a lot of offerings outside of coffee but what they do, they do rather well. I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the place as well as the friendly, accomodating staff(I had a special«ice» request on a hot day and the girl behind the counter was super eager to please). Would go back when I am in town although admittedly, that is not going to be anytime soon(I live in Chicago so the sheer mileage gets in the way of that).
