Not my top 3 taco shops but still good. Maight be number 4 or 5. You need to fugure out your order before you get here. Brisket tacos only come in 2 packs, maybe. They definately sell meats by the pound. That’s what we are ordering from now on. Barbecoa by the pound… extra tortillas pico, and queso will round it all off. Street taco platter is good also, but it’s sorloin, but still okay. Just like street tacos in TJ

Ehhhh it’s ok. If you want cheap food in a pinch it’s there. Quesadillas are pretty good and it’s tons better then taco bell.

Love it. I live by Bernie Park so it is 1 minute away. Good Mexican style food and drinks open 24⁄7

Love their food, wait times can get long. The reason for the two stars is due to this location charging extra for cheese on fajita tacos(which are already too high) Fail on this location. I will stick to the cabana on syminary st

This Taco Cabana is one of my favorite places to eat. It is difficult to beat that combination of affordable prices and delicious food. The staff here is always welcoming and kind. It’s usually the same couple people working, so it’s nice that to see familiar faces greeting you inside. Sometimes the drive-through line gets a little long, and that can be a real drag. That’s why I didn’t give five stars… almost every single time I pull up at the drive-through the person at the box isn’t ready to take my order. I personally don’t really mind waiting an extra few minutes… but the car line does back up quickly. However the drive-through is perfectly long enough to handle to traffic. The interior of the restaurant is usually pretty clean and the salad/toppings bar is well stocked. The food itself is always perfectly hot and delicious. The potato and egg tacos are sometimes the only thing that motivates me to get up and out into the world some mornings. No shame in my game!

Their food is horrible. A far cry from the quality of the original on San Pedro in San Antonio. I ordered the highly advertised brisket tacos. The brisket was old. It s fat becoming rancid. On a brighter note the staff was friendly. I just wouldn’t go there for the food. This location should just close it s doors, or find a competent manager who s forced to eat the food.

I’ve only ever found one that was good. This one there was no flavor to the breakfast tacos what so ever or the salsa. The tortia was almost as thick as my finger. All you could taste was it. The chorizo was brown like ground beef witch we all know is wrong. I just wish i could find more then 1 out of 5 that did it right.

Taco Cabana holds a special place in my heart. 9 years ago, we up and moved from Georgia with no money, no friends, no family, and barely knowing each other. When the husband started making money and we could afford to eat more than just ramen noodles and hot dogs, TC became our go to place since it was pretty cheap. Their tacos are good. I’ve always loved their beef fajitas and flautas. I just don’t eat here a lot anymore since we got burned out on it after eating it all the time(not at this location, of course) Fun fact: This TC used to be a krispy kreme. why didn’t you stay a Krispy Kreme? lol

Not bad for the price. The quality of the meat seems to vary quite a bit.

This is your regular tex-mex foods. Enjoy their new street tacos and for breakfast the TC tacos dozen. A great way to pick up a dozen for family or co-workers, make sure you ask for salsa. For dinner I like to order their pound fajita«steak», but they have chicken and mix. Stop by its pretty good. At this location is a hit and miss cleanness.

It’s a Taco Cabana, so don’t set your expectations too high. This location used to be a Krispy Kreme Donut shop, thus the slightly odd layout and signage shapes. The staff here is above average friendliness, and they do a great job of preparing delicious tacos. We had the brisket tacos and the steak street tacos with grilled onions, which pretty much makes them 10x better. Their salsa ranch is a perfect addition, and if you order one of your meals as a «combo» you get queso with unlimited chips and refills. They are usually quick for fresh cooked food, however sometimes they do bog down a bit when busy. Today their A/C was out which I’m sure didn’t make Kitchen easy. It’s not Salsa Limon, but if you are on South Hulen and need something fairly fast and cheap, this is not a bad choice.

Taco Cabana rocks, and this location is no exception. They sometimes get a little overloaded when a big group rolls in or there’s a lunch rush, but they’re very friendly, and make a point of noticing when your wait has been longer than usual. The only bummer with this location is they don’t have outdoor seating.

For the price and what you get, I have no complaints for Taco Cabana. I absolutely love their chicken flautas! They’re some of the best and I really enjoy them. I love the fresh salsa bar. The customer service and counter help is wonderful here. I experienced service with a smile! I want to stop by for happy hour and the $ 1.50 margaritas. The free WiFi is nice to when you’re able to linger for a while.

For the price, I can’t complain. Some of the best Mexican fast food chow available. My wife looks forward to one day having a Margarita after 4 pm for only $ 1.50. Such a deal. Yes, there is better, but not cheaper and tastier. I am a regular.

The customer service is great here. The servers here are much friendlier than most and that is the reason for this review. The food it good and what you would expect at any taco cabana.

Dear Taco Cabana: I love you. Thanks for your flautas. I have a hard time choosing between sour cream and guacamole as the accompanying dipping sauce. Fried meat + sour cream = magic, but guacamole actually has nutritional value. But! I’ve learned that the true taste sensation lies in the queso and mixing it with salsa verde from your fresh salsa bar. Awesome, delicious concoction. Goes perfect with the chips you get in a combo. Fresh house-made tortillas. Mango black tea. Margaritas! And my favorite fast food breakfast tacos. When donuts are not next on my breakfast rotation, I come back. When I want cheap Mexican, I come back. When I go to Wal*Mart and see your cute pink trim, I come back. Aaaand you never made me sick, like the one on 121 and Beach. I repeat: the 121 and Beach Taco Cabana gave my husband and I some serious food poisoning(not to mention made us vow to never again have an apartment with one bathroom). I had to call in to work 4 days in a row(a cardinal sin for nurses). And when the medical device reps bring you in for breakfast, all I can do is chow down on greasy-ass chorizo and think«Well, that’s why they make cardiac stents.» Thank you. I love you. You are totally worth it. Love, Christine

Ew no! There are much better places to get Tex-Mex! Considering that they advertise being open 24 hours, I’ll assume this is «after party food» for when you’re not thinking straight. I had fajitas, they tasted cheap… actually it wasn’t really a fajita, it was a tortilla with dried up pieces of steak and some sour cream on the side. I like Anjelah Johnson(the lady on the commercials), but the commercials are so annoying!

This place is great! The food is always prepared quick and hot and the staff is very friendly. Prices are very economical as well. This restaurant offers three options of dining 1. You can dine inside and the spaces dining area which offers televisions to watch your favorite shows 2. You can dine out in the patio which has a very tropical atmosphere or 3. You can zip through their drive thru if you’re pressed for time. I would suggest you stop by this restaurant next time you’re in the mood for some great Tex Mex!

Great tacos, burritos, fajitas. Open 24 hours so you can come in anytime. Right here on this strip you have a choice of Taco Bell and Taco Bueno too and this is in the old Krispy Kreme store. Still waiting for a good mom and pop place to open up though.
