I was looking for a cool gift for my parents anniversary and I decided that a caricature would be pretty unique. I emailed grant, and he replied back pretty quick. I described how I wanted the picture to look and sent him a photo of my parents. Grant was really easy to work with, and he replied back with a rough draft the next day. It looked great! It was just as I imagined. Less than 2 days later, I got confirmation that he was done with the final color draft. Omg… so good. My parents were literally in tears when they saw their favorite wedding portrait rejuvenated in this comedic exaggerated style. Thanks a million dude, you rule!

Grant is the most talented sketch artist I’ve ever encountered. I hired grant to draw caricatures at a team building seminar in Newport Beach. His art skills and people skills exceeded all expectations. All of the attendees were amazed at the comical likeness. Last year, we were very disappointed by a 5-star artist we found here on Unilocal. All of the drawings basically looked the same. With Grant’s pictures, nobody had any doubt about who was who. Grant has an excellent eye for details. It’s like he was capturing personalities as well as physical features… after spending just a few minutes with each person! I know who to call next time we need a real pro! Thanks Grant.

I called Grant today to propose he help me cover an event with his caricature work and though what I was asking is slightly beyond his capabilities he was incredibly rude and unwilling to work with me. His attitude was that he is an artist and I do not understand how art works. After explaining further what I wanted him to do he continued to insult me. I’ve been a photographer for 15 years and work with clients constantly. They ask me for a service, I figure out how to make it happen and provide the work. That’s how art works when you’re in it to provide a service. Grant is clearly not willing to work with people who would like to utilize his service. Follow Up: Grant just left me a voicemail at work accusing me of slander and said he’s going to sue me. Please note that all of what is noted above is fact, nothing is false. Second Follow Up: I called a guy named Dominic(Cartoon Slinger) and asked him to do the same thing I asked Grant and he said no problem. So I guess what I was asking wasn’t impossible. Third Follow Up: Just another update on My conversations with Grant. He’s a real businessman, and apparently very smart. «@chrisworden ur more full of shit then an outhouse» «@grantpDOTnet: @chrisworden I’m super happy I’m not drawing for a dipshit like u. Bye/finish/the end» «@grantpDOTnet: @chrisworden ppl like u have no clue about ethics and reasoning add that too then. Bye» And then he sends me this private message on Unilocal: «i know ur an informant. eye know what you know. my iq is VERY high thats not a threat that’s a promise. you arent a warrior. you try and slander twist words and lie. kinda funny realy that you care so much about my work and are sooo sad that i dont wanna draw for a liar. some people just know whos smile is fake and whos is real. c u in time. best of luck to you, keep hating if you want. bye fag»

I hired Grant for an event at the Ronald McDonald House this past weekend and he was absolutely amazing. The kids and families of the Ronald McDonald House are dealing with life threatening illness and when they look back at the art created by Grant they will be reminded of how much progress they’ve made. Grant was great with the kids & families, made them feel comfortable and drew them as they are. Thank you Grant for your professionalism and creating lifelong memories for the families.
