So the food, once I finally got it home wasn’t that great. The breakfast burrito was just average. Wouldn’t come here agin.

I come by once every two or three weeks because I’m craving a delicious chicken salad with ranch or a breakfast sandwich. But it is NEVER worth the wait. 20 – 30 minutes in the drive thru even if you are the only car and 10 – 15 inside. There is no air conditioning inside, so it’s a miserable wait. I’ve backed out of the drive thru before… The guy behind me just did!
Just saw a sign that says it will soon be a Charlie’s Best Burgers. Hopefully that will have faster service.

I found a fly in my food. :(i would not recommend this place. My fries were soggy along with that. They DID return my money.

I come here at least 3 times a week for breakfast and lunch the drive threw and dinner take a little time to make your order. But you want food made from scratch right?

I’ve been in the drive thru for 24 minutes and I’m blocked in !! The car in front of me is still waiting for their order… Wtf! **UPDATE** The food was cool, the lady was pleasant, but if your in a hurry, park and order.

I only ever use the drive through here which half the time isn’t working. Often the counter staff is too busy with counter customers to help the drive through guests and I have to wait a while. Once I ordered a BLT at 9pm and I think they used bacon that had been sitting around all day because I got violently ill later that night. Still, I give this place 3 stars because their breakfast burritos are so damn good and their salsa is super yummy.

Good food poor atmosphere. Nice to find a place with a good cheeseburger zucchinis and onion rings.
The problem with Chef K is that the Univision TV blasting while trying to eat was extremely annoying. At 9:15 in the morning on a Thursday looking around the restaurant there were nine people there only two of whom were Hispanic besides the staff. I think it’s very annoying to be blasting Hispanic television which most of us couldn’t understand when we’re trying to eat. Please pay attention Chef K owner you’re ruining a great experience in your restaurant.

Been here two times. One time 10 years ago and about 6 months ago they have bomb breakfast burritos! Good both times!

Just got the cheese burger special. Barely any meat in it, bread sucks. The fries are barely edible. Never getting food here again. Going to George’s next time for delicious hamburger combo.

Food is pretty good but employees are rude! Been here twice now and both times had the same experience.

Typical burger joint with HUGE portions and decent prices. I’ve never been inside just the drive thru and I can tell you they literally make your food as you order it so expect to wait a bit.
The lady taking the orders can be a bit rude but whatever, just give me my food I only have to talk to you for 5 mins of my life.
So far, my favorite thing is the onion rings, I could probably eat every single one (and there’s a lot!) but I also don’t want to give myself a heart attack. I’ve also had (or tried) the club, fries, zucchini, house salad, pastrami sandwich, chicken sandwich and patty melt and honestly everything was good.
If you feel like blowing your diet, definitely come here!

Only come if you have time to wait. If you are in a rush, go somewhere else. Drive thru doesn’t make it much faster. I pulled up to the drive thru and no one was in front of me nor behind me the whole time. Made me think… maybe this place isn’t so good if no one is coming at lunch time.
The lady over the speaker took my order quickly and when I pulled up to the window I waited about 10 minutes before she even opened the window to greet me and say hello. She could have at least had me pay right away to know that I exist.
I watched the cooks cooking and it always bothers me when they don’t wear gloves. They end up touching everything and then go back and touch all the food. Almost wanted to cancel my order but I was picking up food for someone else too, so I couldn’t.
I ordered the Chef salad which came very large. I liked that they include avocado. I have tried others that don’t. It also comes with pita bread, but is hard and cold. The salad itself was good with all its fixtures. My friend got the chicken sandwich and it was just okay to her. Fries were bland.
Nothing about this placed screamed I have to come back. So with that said. so long Chef K’s!

I wish I could separate the review because it’s 4 stars for one part and 2 stars for another.
In terms of the quality of food I would give it close to 4 stars. You generally get what you pay for but here the food is at least good for a small hole in the wall Mexican food and burger joint. the portions are large and their drink refill policy is pretty cool considering that most small businesses frown drink refills. However, it does not completely absolved them from how terrible the cleanliness is at this restaurant. understandably so it is in the poor side of town, with a lot of foot traffic from the local homeless population, but that does not give it an excuse to be as dirty as it sometimes is. You might as well put a clothespin to your nose whenever you want to use the restroom because it is terribly bad in there. Also, the tables do not tend to get cleaned as often as they should. the wait staff is about as friendly as you would expect in a small place with one generally kind young woman working the counter who is happy to engage you in conversation, with the rest being very curt and unwilling to talk beyond the simple act of saying what you want off the menu.
The food isn’t very overpriced however you have to watch out considering that half of the menu comes with a drink and the other half does not. also be advised that parking here can get pretty terrible depending on the day that you go. if attending after church, consider another place as parking will be a nightmare.

Waiting at the dmv I stopped into this place for breakfast. It seems to have good service cause there busy during the early morning rush. Bit of a wait cause they have a drive through. Good breakfast special you can choose hot cakes or sandwich which I love.

Zeeerrroooo stars and I have not even gotten my food!!! The woman at the counter taking orders is worse than a jailhouse warden!!! She looks at me with evident disdain because my biggest offense is apparently being a customer! Never said hello or anything that was not a must to complete my trensaction.
Some poor soul dared come up to the counter and was sternly growled at: you need something?! «No. I just like to be yelled at for no reason. thank you!!!»…
Unbelievable… 1^st and last time I darken this business’ door. Wow.

Breakfast is suppose be to over at 1 pm on Sunday… We got there at 12:45 and was denied breakfast.

Nothing special about this place. I’d be willing to bet their only business comes from it being so conveniently close to the DMV

Ok Chef K’s is not going to make another dime off of me ever again! When going through the drive-​thru tge sign said their cheese burger special was about $ 6.00. I was ok with the price. When getting to the window the lady told me that prices have changed. I was ok with that too, but when handed a small drink when their menu stated thal all burger specials come with a large fry and large soda i was irratated! Don’t lie to your customers! False advertising is not fair. Dont bait me with a great deal and lie about it! Then sge gave me a medium sized drink filled to the top with ice and about 6 oz of soda.

Conveniently located across the street from the Fullerton DMV office! It’s another regular Ghetto burger joint! what stands out about this place to me is not the burgers or the fries but the ONION RINGS!
Lightly battered with who knows what (Im not a cook) then fried to perfection! The order you get is huge! I mean it could be a meal in itself! They do not do half orders! You get a little container of ranch to go with it on the side! Each additional is 25 cents! I recommend you get an extra ranch! I love full submersion of each piece of my onion ring but that’s just my preference!
The coffee is also good! It’s not «Starbucks» quality but it’s also not «your local mechanics waiting room» either! You serve it yourself, as many times as your heart desires! The only pain in the arse is the creamer coming in those thimble sized containers!
The ladies working here aren’t super friendly but they make it just past the pleasant line! They do smile and greet!
