Paid $ 16.00 for two cheeseburger specials one with chili cheese fries. The burgers were so flavorful the chili cheese fries needed more cheese.

Pretty good food and portions, the only thing I didn’t like was that I found some crushed eggshells in my breakfast but other than that it was good and fast.

I remember when it was Chef K’s. They had cheaper prices and better service. The fat bitch taking orders needs to lose the attitude and not be so rude. Not my fault your life sucks

Great food nice staff very clean and did I say great food? My son had the chicken strips and I had a bacon double cheeseburger with bacon extra crispy they were both perfect!!! Thanks for the good food and we will be back…

First time there and got there mixed breakfast burrito during the day and it was unbelievably delicious. Huge burrito packed with sausage, ham, bacon, potatoes, cheese and eggs.

It is obvious from The time you walk into this place that the breakfast staff really cares for their job and their customers. The place is clean they are constantly picking up trash or items off the floor wiping down the counter tops and asking the customers if they need something else like coffee or salsa utensils that sort of thing.
Food was good I am impressed and I will be back.

Good food. Burgers have a thin patty, so get a double burger. Definitely pricey. Fast and friendly. Usually busy. Exterior painted up like In-​N-​Out to get your attention. If you don’t mind paying a premium price for average food, you might be happy.
UPDATE: Now that a few months have gone by, the quality is tapering off. You’ll get a messy burger in a bag with the old trick of moving everything to the front to make it «look» good. Try this… order a «Double Baconburger». They will charge you for a Double Bacon «CHEESE“burger, and put no cheese. Now you are paying for cheese and not getting it when you didn’t want it in the first place. Confront them, and they will tell you it’s a computador problema. Sorry Charlie, but your 4.5 star rating needs a 3 star now.

I have eaten here several times before posting a review. My very first visit, the place was packed and it took a considerable while to receive my order. Since then, all of my following visits were perfect!
This is a neighborhood coffee shop type of restaurant. Not fancy by any means. But, a friendly staff, good tasting food, nice sized portions, and reasonable pricing. They open early for breakfast and stay open until 10 PM.
On Monday nights, they have a special on their chicken terriyaki bowls for only $ 5.00. A nice generous portion makes this a truly good value. Very satisfying!

You lost business from a family of 5. My family would come here almost every week. Upon going through the drive through a few days ago. There were several employees INSIDE the TRASH ENCLOSURE which is close to the KITCHEN. That is disgusting and unsanitary !! Called to complain nonetheless we won’t be coming back here. There was also one account that my sister got sick from a burger here.

Delicious food, good prices, the inside is really clean. $ 5 Chicken Teriyaki Bowl on Mondays after 4pm and $ 5 Hamburger Combo on Tuesdays after 4pm. AC on full blast on a hot day.

Found a coupon in a local magazine I got in the mail. So I thought well this is a good deal, and I went to get burgers for me and my grandmother. We both got cheese burgers and just one fries. All the food was really tasty and fresh. Probably the best hamburger I have had in Fullerton. We both agree that this will be our new burger spot.

This place is great. Friendly service, good food, great prices and portions. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich combo and substituted the friends for fried zucchini. The food was fresh and hot. The portion sizes are really big so make sure you come hungry! The décor is updated and welcoming. This place needed a total facelift and the new owners made it awesome. It’s clean and organized. The service is very friendly and they were very helpful and knowledgable of the menu.
So glad this place is now Charlie’s Best because Chef K’s was not good at all.

I’m a huge fan of burger joints like Charlie’s best, they literally have anything you can think of and food is made when you order. However, I still liked Chef K’s better, there were certain things that they made that tasted much better such as the zucchinis and onion rings.
The chicken sandwich is legit and so is their mushroom omelette but id stay away from the grilled cheese, it’s soggy. I’d give them 4 stars but drive thru takes forever.

Just noticed that theres plenty of parallel street parking on Valencia. Btw customer service is great!
The Charlie’s burger is great! Also their fries are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect. I think the best fries in the area. Different from in n out. But the best diner style fries.

Terrible food. The chilaquiles are too spicy. We told the waitress and she laughed and said «oh yeah some days the batch is spicy». The food was not edible. Not returning here. The pictures they display do not look like the food you get. The mexican food is terrible.
The food is sloopy when they are busy. The food is undercooked and takes forever to be ready.
The salsa bar is terrible. The salsa has a gross flavor.
All the girls have long acrylic nails and they are touching everything and serving food with those. It is very unsanitary to have nails like that while serving food. The girl who delivered my food pushed her long nail into my potatoes after I had seen her touching money at the cashier and wiping tables. Not sure why a manager would allow this.
Dont let the nice tidy appearance of this place mislead you. The food is not as good as the place looks.

I was very excited to try this new spot out. Sunday nights are the nights me and the family eat out and since I had not tried Charlies before… why not? I was the only one in the family that ate here. Everyone decided to try something else. I totally regret not going their way.
I ordered a turkey club sandwich with fries and a strawberry milkshake. I went through the drive thru and waited maybe 5 – 10 minutes which was not too bad as the food is made to order.
When my food was finally done the gal at the window handed me my box of food and said «Have a good day.»
I let her know I also ordered a milk shake. Apparently that seemed to annoy her because she rolled her eyes at me and went to get it!!! I didn’t know that was such a big problem. I mean I did pay $ 4 for it (over priced for a small milk shake.)
As I was driving home which is right down the street I attempted to drink my milkshake but it was completely watery. It tasted like strawberry milk. It was not cold or even tasted like ice cream. I put it in the freezer when I got home and it seemed to help a little when I drank it an hour later.
I got home to open my box of food and first thing I went for were the fries. They were stale. As if they had been sitting out and under a light all day to keep warm. It was not appetizing at all. I had my cousin try some and she said the exact same thing. So no fries for my sandwich.
I went in for the sandwich and it was good. Falling apart but good. I do wish the bread would have been more toasted as it was pretty soggy in some parts. The last piece fell completely apart so I gave up and threw it away with all the fries.
Very dissapointed for $ 14.
Sadly I will not return.

I’ve been a fan of Chef K’s for years. Yes, they needed a remodel. But their food was great and consistently so. I’m a steak sandwich kinda girl and when the mood strikes me, Chef K is my go-​to place for a steak sammie. Now that it’s gone, I decided to give Charlie’s Best a shot.
The employees are polite and friendly so they get a star.
My husband demolished the breakfast burrito (bacon, ham, and sausage combo) so that gets a star too.
The fried zucchini is cut into «fries» instead of the previous zucchini «quarters», which makes them easier to eat but they got kind of soggy halfway through. I would give this half a star, but almost a star is the same as no star in my book.
The steak sandwich bread is much softer than the crunchy, toasted roll it used to be served on. This is not bad, since it’s easier to gnaw on and I don’t lock my jaw trying to go in for the bite. However, I do feel like it needs to be toasted at least.
Lots more lettuce. It was practically a lettuce sandwich with tomato and steak. I had to pluck a few leaves of the lettuce out.
The steak itself was about ¹⁄₃ of the thickness of Chef K’s steak. And dry. And hard. It was so dry, I had to grab it after I bit into it and kind of wrestle myself to get the rest of it out of my mouth. It’s a beef jerky sandwich.
Seriously, it’s more expensive and clearly inferior quality. This is not Charlie’s Best thing on the menu. I will concede and try a burger next time.
Gone are the days of a juicy Chef K’s steak sandwich… I would cry in remembrance, but there are more important things in life so let’s move on.

Came on a Sunday night an hour before closing. Had the cheeseburger combo with a side of fries zucchini.
Burger had a great flavor, the fries were seasoned very well and were nice and crispy.
Girlfriend rated the fried zucchini ⁸⁄₁₀ which is a solid rating in our book.
Give this place a try, you won’t be upset!

First visit to the new place. Had a good Pastrami, clean not fatty at all. The fries were nice and hot, seasoned with a little bit of Cajun spices. Very good!
The place is very clean and tidy. The Staff is very friendly.
I will definitely be back and will tell my friends about the new Burger place.
