They water down the cilantro dressing big time. The double chicken tostada is also stingy unlike other El Pollo Loco’s like the one in Whittier on Carmenita.

3^rd TIME!!! 3^rd time my drive thru order was wrong. Yes, I understand this is a chicken place. But that doesn’t mean I want a chicken burrito when ordering a shrimp burrito… And on top of that. There was no chicken in my «shrimp» burrito!!! Horrible!!!

Would not come here again! Came here multiple times through the drive thru. We tried to give them the benefit of doubt, but after the third time of rude service and below standard food, we’re never coming here again.
The first time we came here the salsa were completely frozen! No I’m not exaggerating. Their creamy cilantro dressing is always white and an weird taste to it. Every other El Pollo Loco has the usual green dressing. Finally, when I asked for an extra pack of ranch dressing (which I gladly paid extra) the server suddenly gave me a shit-​face attitude.

Stopped by for our weekly loco meal here. Drive thru only open. Dining room closed due to bathrooms out of order. This location has bad habit closing dining room at will. I.e. Xmas party sign we closed.
They said since bathroom out of order they had to close dining room. Has anyone heard of such an ordinance?

If pollo loco advertises on TV the three course meal they should have enough to sell. I got there and they said they ran out of the three course meal. I even called before going to pick up food. False advertisement!!!

I have been in better El Pollo Restaurants. This place was a little messy and dirty. They do not keep their salsa area clean and tidy. The portions were small and over-​done. The young man who served us was new but nice enough.

Your one job is too have chicken ready but the last two time I’ve been there you failed to do that.

Lordy lordy is this place nasty. Took 5 min for someone to notice us. Salsa bar a mess and no cups. Forget the bathroom, the stench was pathetic.

Food is good but why is it that the salsa bar is always Empty. You ask them for a salsa & they act like they’re going out of their way to do their job and refill it. Most of them are too busy talking to each other instead of helping the clients. Horrible. What ticked me of the most was when I asked for white meat only & they actually asked me what that was & proceeded to tell me they didn’t know what that was !!! Really??? WTH!!!

I’ve been going to this El Pollo Loco about once a week for about three years now and finally decided to rate it.
Why 1-​Star? Because about 75% time they do not get my order right, they always short you on something. I don’t know why, I speak very clearly, they repeat my order back to me correctly, but when I get more order, it’s usually wrong. And to add insult to injury, when they do get my order right, it’s usually not fresh. When the order is wrong, it’s usually good, go figure!
Why do I continue to torture myself and go there? It’s convenient and close to my house. I guess I am praying one day they will just do it right, consistently.
I never complain, maybe I should. *sigh*
Anyway, if you come to this El Pollo Loco, you should double check your order once you receive it.

The service here was both with a smile and exceptionally friendly.
I tried the soup, a new one they’re promoting and probably testing to see if it an earn it’s way to become a regular menu item, the CHICKEN CORN CHOWDER soup which was really good. I committed to a bowl since I always think the cup is too small at every place I go to when it comes to soup and the incremental costs to upgrade to a bowl is usually well worthwhile.
The soup was served HOT at the right temperature that remained hot, never cooled down or got uncomfortably warm, which is always a good indication of attentive maintenance and freshness to a degree too.
They have a Chicken Tortilla Soup that I now want to try.

I’ve become a big fan of the 3 course family meals they offer. You get your 8 piece chicken, two sides, whatever the new item is (enchiladas, salad, etc), tortillas and churros for dessert. Every now and then we get a coupon to add 4 pieces of chicken for free to make it a 12pc. meal.
This particular spot has it’s ups and downs with a 3.5 rating. The service is pretty fast inside and drive thru, that’s a plus. The food for the most part is good. I’ve had a few issues where the skin on the chicken was a bit burnt, cheese not melted or missing an item. They are close to work and make it easy for a good fast quick meal!

This location Always messes up my order. They never seem to understand what no onions or on cilantro mean. I only come to this one because it is close to my work. The workers are also not very nice. I never get a smile out of them. Food is good if they get my order right.

Not all El Pollo Loco locations are alike. This location is better than most, but unfortunately isn’t convenient to my house, but they have a fairly quick drive thru service, and are pretty accurate.
I really do like EPL, but wish their chickens were a little more plump. I think its their way of getting the consumer in buying a 3 piece meal, as the 2 piece is a bit scrawny.
Overall, a decent location. Negotiating out of the drive thru can be hard, as the traffic on Euclid can be heavy.

Update: went today (7÷26÷14) and the girl at the drive thru named Jessica I believe was extremely nice and could understand her and have great customer service! Food was on point as well, let’s hope they keep it up!
Close to work and go here a lot for lunch. Honestly it’s usually a hot or miss sometimes. Certain times the good and service is great but other times not so much. Have had times when ordering the chicken avocado tacos and avocado was super hard and gross, threw it away. Usually get coupons at work and try out their stuff but on the safe side I usually go for the chicken tostado salad, which for the most part is usually always good.
A few months back though I parked in front by the entrance and was getting my wallet while in my car and a worker was rolling one of the trash cans to the dumpster and was kicking it in front of her instead of holding and pushing it out in front of her and she kicked to hard and it rolled and hit the front of my car, I got out and said excuse me? And she didn’t know English and said uh sorry. And continued to roll the trash can. There was no damage luckily but really. I went in and ordered my good and just felt like I should tell the mgr which I did and he said oops sorry about that and just walked away. Not cool.
As for today and this review was because I went for lunch and ordered a plain cheese quesadilla and yes it was busy (I was in the drive thru) but really. the cheese was not even cooked! Gross! The ladies need to really just slow down a little and get peoples orders done right and correctly rather then act like it’s a zoo in there and all flustered.

I won’t write about the food since it is a chain fast food and I’m sure you have all tried it. I do go there because it is fast and probably one of the healthier foods on the go options.
However, I am so frustrated with this location. I live nearby so it is convenient but they so often mess up the order and I don’t find out until I’m home.
I usually check the order but hard to unwrap every item and look inside.

The service here is generally good. The food is consistent. When I want to pretend that I am on a diet, I eat here.
Sometimes the interior is not clean. I have noticed that the salsa bar is a mess. The salsa looks old and beaten up. I have asked for new salsa because of this.
I usually order the wing lovers: four wings and two sides. It is not available sometimes for reasons that I do not understand.

I like el pollo loco. I called this place before I arrived because I wanted a couple whole chickens, they were great and were ready for me. The food here is lays delicious.

I’ve been eating here for many years. Pricing is consistently reasonable. Portion sizes are adequate. And food quality is good… In particular, I am a fan of their breast/​wing chicken combo, their traditional chicken burrito, and their original tostada salad!
If you are looking for a good healthy meal, at a fair price, that will satisfy your hunger, I would definitely recommend!
