El Pollo Loco

Sadly after eating here last night my husband got food poisoning. He said the chicken legs tasted off/​gross. Now he has been vomiting and all, all night. Not cool. They need to be more careful.

Wifi hasn’t worked the past 3 visits. Won’t be coming back until it gets fixed. Other than that place is nice

One of THE worst El Pollo Loco’s I’ve been to. I ordered a chicken & shrimp avocado toastada with no avocado and was instead given an under 500 chicken & shrimp «toastada» which is actually just a whole wheat tortilla with salad and meat. Now, I understand people make mistakes, so I go back to exchange what I received. As the manager is making me a new bowl, I see one of the workers opening my returned meal and picking out the chicken and shrimp and throwing it back into their food service line. I’m pretty sure that’s a health code violation. They have absolutely no idea if I had done anything to that meal (I didn’t do anything, scouts honor), so it should have been thrown away immediately. Needless to say, I just had them refund my money back, as I didn’t want to risk getting someone’s left over chicken and shrimp or worse, getting chicken and shrimp that has been touched by avocado, which I am VERY allergic to. Food allergies are no joke. I hope next time a customer returns some food, they just take the loss and throw the meal away.

Probably the best El Pollo Loco I’ve been to – very modern looking with every inch of the place being super clean. Food was made perfectly and employees had smiles on their faces (a rarity!) Glad this place is so close-​by.

Recently remodeled. Looks great. Service excellent. Staff friendly. El Pollo Loco has great, healthy Mexican food. Try their shrimp items.

For sure they didn’t get my order correctly. I ordered 2 crispy chicken tacos, I got soft. I ordered a salad that didn’t come with any dressing or what ever else comes with it, oh yes they did give me 2 pico de gallos.

I use to visit this El Pollo Loco once a Week at minimum. I must say that the Service use to be better, but still decent. I returned back today for the first time in about six Months.
Personally, I think the Chicken wasn’t as good. It use to be crunchy and crispy on the outside and the meat was juicy. Today, it was super soggy and wet all around. It was kinda gross. I ordered the three piece combo and probably ate less than 25% of it. The mashed potatoes however, was exceptional.
Another issue that this place has is their cleanliness. The tables are almost always dirty and so is the restroom. Maybe it’s a coincidence.
Tips: The foods do take a little long, but not the worst experience I’ve had either. The parking lot has a lot of space and easily assessable to the restaurant.

Half the time I go here, something is missing or I receive the wrong item. They’re very nice though.

Not a bad place to eat. Foods pretty good, customer service isn’t too bad. Problems with this location are the fact that people always seem to be in a rush so the customer service becomes lacking. Also other customers tend to be pretty rude to other customers!
Overall an alright place to come to once in a while, but not a place I’d go to very often.

The Service at this location is terrible. I waited exactly 19 minutes in the line for my order only to learn that my order was incorrect. It was missing two items. It was too late at night to return to get the correct order.
I hadn’t been to this location for over two years for this very reason. I’d hope that the service had improved but it has not and I will never go back again.

Gross they served me rotten food!!! This is not the first time this happened to me the first time it happened I thought maybe was an accident I was washing clothing on the corner and came here to get something to eat wasn’t too fresh and my daughters Rocky was cooked even those rotten it was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen in my life so I just went just recently and they serve me rotten chicken in my quesadilla and then in my so called salad

My classic chicken burrito that I love so much, had barely any rice beans or chicken! All tortilla! So bummed!

Worst tostada ever, barely any Meat in it. Hate when this particular El Pollo is so hit or miss. I always think to myself, what’s the benefit if the employee to put barely anything into an order? Seems to be the case at this location for me more than once or twice.

Went last week and before I could make it across the parking lot, I was stopped by a rude man in a security shirt telling me they were closed. He refused to answer any questions past that. Don’t know what’s going on but when I’ve driven past this location since it always looks closed. Regardless of what’s happening, it’s bad business to not notify your customers of closure. If it was abrubt, then leave a note; anything works better than a tosser snapping at me.

Then they called my name again, still not ready. Why call for someone if you think you’re going to be ready? kinda annoing

Not consistent on food quality or quantity… This location is near my house so I have gone a lot but last night was the last time. The food was horrible. Chicken cold and the tortillas for the tacos were gross like they had a slime on them or were not fully cooked. Somehow they seemed to mess up the entire order and it all ended up going in the trash, but this is not the 1^st time. Other locations don’t have this problem it sucks this is the closest to my house but there is no way I can go back and continue spending money with them.

Much better than others, plus like always chicken is good. Time it took get food much faster, cleanliness of the place is great. I will be coming to this one more often!

This El Pollo Loco occupies a newer looking building which has been very attractively decorated; I particularly like the lampshades. It was surprisingly empty at 1:40 pm on a Sunday. There was only one other gentleman in the store the entire time I was there and he was very nicely dressed in a suit.
The employee who took my order was very friendly. El Pollo Loco is my go-​to fast food spot when I am traveling on road trips. The menu items are based around grilled chicken which makes many of them very healthy options. I tend to order the pollo bowls which have a rice and bean base in addition to the chicken, the chicken tortilla soup, or the skinless chicken breast meals.
On this occasion, I ordered a skinless chicken breast meal to go. In this meal, the chicken breast is always accompanied by the steamed broccoli and a salad which comes with fried tortilla strips on it unless you specify different sides. I asked them to leave off the tortilla strips. I headed to the salsa bar, which was well stocked, to fill several containers with their avocado salsa which I use on the salads instead of salad dressing. Unfortunately for me, when I opened the salad as I was headed up the freeway I discovered that they decided to put some kind of cream dressing right onto the salad. I have no idea what it was since I’ve never had it put on my salad at any other Ell Pollo locations. It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t spectacular either. I took off a point for its mysterious appearance on my food.
This location is VERY conveniently located just off the Chapman/​Nutwood exit off the 57 so I will probably give them another chance on a future visit down here. At least next time I’ll know to ask them not to put anything on my salad.

I haven’t had a problem with this El Pollo Loco location. There were 2 or 3 cars in front of us in line, but we still received our food in a timely manner. The guy working the window was also one of the friendliest fast food workers ever.
I love their loco salads (on the value menu). That creamy cilantro dressing is like crack. I’d buy it in huge jugs if they sold it!
