Still a long line and their master blaster«shakes» aren’t part of the promotion… False advertising!

Worst sonic I’ve been too, first of all, they don’t even skate here, which that it was sonic is about… then I wanted to get the offer for the 89cent deluxe burgers, she charged me full price, when indeed I did mention it. They couldn’t fix the price for me. I always going to sonic, but not coming to this one anymore! They are rude here too.

Great everything, fast service, friendly service, thanks Kiana. We will be back soon. Food tasted good and so did the shakes.

Drive through service is slow. Lady could not hear our order. This place needs better management. If you want to save your time, do not go here.

Just stopped here for a strawberry limeade and a small gator tot. After waiting 28 mins in the drive thru, I was finally on my way home… only to open my bag and find out there are no tater tots, they are cold, who knows how old… French fries. Really? This is a terrible franchise. I should have saved my money.

Pit stop to Sonics on the way back from San Diego! I was craving a nice cold, fizzy drink. Told the BF to stop by Sonics so I could get my fix =) We arrived at 2:10pm which was just in time for happy hour(2−5pm everyday). We ordered 1 medium and 1 large cherry limeade(you wont regret it) for under $ 3 after tax. STEAL! Park your car, review the menu items, push the red button to place your order, pay with your credit card, your items will be delivered to you by the staff on rollerskates! Our drinks came within 3 – 4 minutes of ordering.

Cold, hard, gross food. Do yourself a favor and steer clear. Gets 1 star due to the fact the drinks were all good. The server was nice and professional also.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I first had Sonic in the south, they are popular down there. The burger was hot juicy and tasty. When I found out Sonic was coming to SoCal I couldn’t wait. So I went to the one in Fullerton I had a double cheese burger. The burger was TERRIBLE. It was cold and dry so were fries. I couldn’t finish it because it was disgusting so I ordered chili dog. Same thing chili was bland and hot dog was luke warm. I spent 15 dollars on a burger combo I didn“t finish and a chili dog that was mediocre. Never going back.

***** Disclaimer: Milkshake only ***** — Locale Destination — It’s on N Placentia Ave and W Chapman Ave in Placentia. It’s across street from«In n Out». Drive«stop», not«through» as you know. Service: Quick and friendly. I work tons and have been tired. It seems like I lost weights a lot according to my friends. It makes me pig out for milkshake lately — technically more like«Frosty» @ Wendy’s, quite often. I wanted to try the shake @ In n Out across street, but it wasn’t open. So I came here for it. Milkshake: It seemed like they got pretty big drink menu included shakes. Milkshakes seemed to have like 3 categories/prices depending on what they put. They put way too much whipped cream. It’s like 50⁄50 ratio for shake and whipped cream. I don’t need that much whipped cream. I don’t think whipped cream doesn’t do any good to the shake. Rip off. Size: Small size frosty is pretty big. Small size here is a «kid’s» cup, or «water» cup. Super tiny. And half of it is whipped cream. — Gluttony Expedition — Oreo cheesecake shake: it sounded good, but the execution felt short. Big chunks of Oreo won’t go through the regular size straw they provided. So you really can’t eat the Oreo chunks unless you got a spoon. It wasn’t the case. The shake was kinda thick, too. So it killed my jaws. It’s freaking too hard to drink it. And it seemed like I got«whip cream» mostly, not so much of shake, so I could only remember I sucked«whip cream» mostly with a hint of cheesecake flavor. They need«boba» straw for that. Overall, it’s not good. — Conqueror’s Deduction — Milkshake is basically ice cream and milk. I don’t know why many people can’t make it well. Jaw killing difficult-to-drink shake. The concept is good. The execution is bad.

Just went to the one on Lemon and that one had terrible service. This one on the other hand was the best Sonic I have ever been to. Everything looks clean and new and they took my order as soon as I pressed that red button. We then got our food in less than 4 minutes which was the fastest I have ever received my food at a Sonic. Whoever was working on Jan 10, 2016 around 5pm should be rewarded because they changed my perspective on Sonic.

Wish I would have checked Unilocal before coming here. The in n out across the street was packed and decided to try this place. Ordered two #10 crispy chicken meals and three chicken strip kids meals. The chicken was dry and not fresh despite the«fresh» advertisements on the door. The onion rings were oddly sweet like sugar was added to the batter or something sweet was dipped in the fryer first. Not horrible but not good. Also they forgot to give us juice boxes for all the kids meals. Had to wait by the door to ask for the drinks. Fail. The tater tots were the only good part. Soda was fine too. Lesson learned: check Unilocal before trying a new place and never go to the Fullerton Sonics again. Im sticking with in n out or 5 guys.

Okay so here it goes… I came here once a long time ago. They serve breakfast all day and they have cherry coke! I ordered a breakfast sandwich, it wasn’t even toasty! I’ve been back a few times and I always order the same thing. For just under $ 6 I can get a breakfast combo. So when I have $ 6, it’s after 11am and I want a breakfast sandwich I come here. The sandwich is still very yummy even though, the bread isn’t toasty. As far as the tots go, they are always perfectly crispy. This place also has the best ice! It is so addicting, they sell it so you know it’s good!!! I always use the drive thru because seems it takes forever when you drive up and push the button. They do have an offer if you check in on Unilocal.I am not sure if they honor it since I didn’t order that. They do send you text offers if you sign up. I know this place has a lot of bad reviews, but give it a shot you never know you might like it

Wish there was a Sonic in the South Bay Area. We take a road trip to eat here when we have a tots craving. This place is like a grown up drive in that had a sugar rush dream. They have almost every shake you can dream up. The cup sizes are crazy large and all that comes to mind is bladder buster. Lol! The food is average but just having tater tots on the menu brings back the memories from elementary school meals. The customer service here has been spotty, some visits the service is on it and other times you wonder why you come here.

I read all the bad reviews but I still went thinking«nah none of that won’t happen to us.» Well it did. Here is a list of what happened and what you can expect to happen. –ordered a couple burgers with additional toppings. Didn’t get any toppings. –didn’t get tater tots(ordered a meal) –LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG wait time. Like so long that you’re just like fuck it I’m going to get a refund and bounce. I got out of my car to get a refund but the girl came with my food just as I opened the door. –NONAPKINS because in Orange County there’s apparently a shortage of trees that I didn’t know about. How’s the food? –it was good! Good enough to make me come back? –yeah! Will I come back? –FUCKNO. I asked to get a refund for the burgers and keep the burgers. At least that was cool. As soon as I was about to leave I realized my tots weren’t in the bag. I just said fk it I can’t deal with this anymore.

I think there needs to be more staff on the weekends. Too chaotic too much time waiting on for food let alone your half off shakes. Food is always whatever’s not the best on hot dogs, wish they really used all beef to make the hot dog taste top notch. I’d pay for that, combo prices are already still cheap compared to other fast food chains. My shake was on point, Oreo cheesecake! Oh yes it was my meal finisher

After midnight, it’s SLOW! #SMH To start your order, Press the red button. Crickets, crickets… Press the button again, Nada! Again and again and again. Finally had to get out of my car and talk to one of the car hop lady. She explain, after midnight they process through and clear each order. Translation: go back to your car and wait some more. Finally placed my order(after 15 min of waiting) Then there’s more waiting. I ordered a Ched R Pepper, Popcorn Chicken, Sausage Burrito, a large Blackberry & Pineapple Soda and a large Pineapple Shake. It took 32 minutes for the burrito to come out. Just the burrito. Another 15 minutes before everything else was delivered. #SMH I ask for ranch sauce(for the Ched R Pepper) NORANCH, they ran out. #SMH how does that happen?! They only had BBQ sauce and salsa #SMH I ask for the straws and napkins, she had to get them, she forgot to bring them. I check on the food, it was barely lukewarm. #SMH The food was so so. The drinks were great. Tips: *Shakes are ½ price after 8pm *Yelp check in — 99 cent for a breakfast burrito *Breakfast served all day. I’ve been to Sonic several times and this is by far the worst experience I’ve had here. Waiting over an hour to place an order and get your food is ridiculous. Still shaking my head. 2015 Review #101

A good Sonic with everything made the right way. So I don’t get to Sonic too often since there are no locations near me in NY, but I still have to see their commercials all of the time enough to develop a craving for them. After experiencing a poor Sonic, we decided to give them one more chance before swearing them off permanently. Well here, everything was just fine. I ordered the cheesy bacon pretzel bun hot dog at another location and was severely disappointed. Here however, it tasted(and looked) way better. Had the Jolly Rancher drink as well, which was pretty tasty. The burgers were made right and the orders(no cheese for my fiancé — and no mustard/mayo generally since were we come from, we prefer ketchup) were correct the first time. Waitress was friendly. All in a all a good location and I’d come here again if I’m in the area.

Never Again!!! We all went to Sonic today for the .99 cent Hot Dogs. I think I would have been better going Hungry. I am going to Post the Picture of my Pathetic Chili Dog. Maybe a Tablespoon of Chili. No Mustard, No Onions, No Cheese. I would rather go to 7⁄11 and get one of their $ 1.99 Hot Dogs than ever eat at Sonic Again. All those Commercials… Now I know why there are only a few around. They will not be around Long Term. I Hope

I know I’m not getting any younger. I know hubby is not getting any younger, either. Unfortunately, this place makes us feel old. Not because of the décor, or how you can drive-in and sit to eat. While the concept is adorable, it does require a good amount of land to do it properly. It’s not the décor, as they do have a cute modern twist to it. But, unfortunately, it’s the food. I never had Sonic before. As it was in the area and we wanted to try something we never had, hubby went through the drive-thru to pick us up some foods. For first-timers, it’s a bit tough to figure out what you want, with the small print and only one menu. I mean, come on, if someone else is ordering, shouldn’t there be a menu for the car behind them to be able to glance at and be able to see what is offered so that they’re ready with what they want to order? Don’t get me wrong; staff was great and probably completely understand that everyone won’t know what to order. But I still feel that if you want to be a fast food place, you’ll want your customers to order quickly, pay quickly, and leave quickly. After looking at other reviews, I cringed at the possible long wait time. However, it didn’t take too long, as only one car was ahead of us. We ended up getting onion rings. While not too bad, it did have a sweet crust that I was not expecting. I definitely prefer Habit Burger’s onion rings over those. Had a mini strawberry cheesecake shake. It was pretty good, but once I got to the whip cream, I just had to throw it out. Intense amount of artificial-ness. I could go to Baskin Robbin’s or a Dairy Queen and get a Blizzard without feeling that sickness. Hubby had the chicken sandwich, which didn’t look great, but it had that cheap chicken sandwich taste that reminded him of home. I had one of the footlong hot dogs, which wasn’t bad, but I would’ve preferred a bit more toppings. I mean, come on, chili cheese means chili and cheese in every bite, not in only a few bites! :/ So, probably won’t be back. We just don’t have the bodies to process that kind of stuff any more. I did like the hot dog, but, yikes, that weird feeling in your stomach afterwards isn’t really too worth it.

I always see those snazzy Sonic commercials with the two dudes who act like a married couple, arguing about whose food is better. Sonic is rare to find here in Socal, so it was nice to see one on the way home from CSUF. I decided to try an Oreo Sonic Blast(similar to McD’s McFlurry and DQ’s Blizzard). I got a kids’ size, which was the perfect size for me. I parked in one of their convenient parking spots, with its own drive thru and payment machine. I thought, how clever! I made my order, and I waited… for sooooo long. I think my order took about 10 – 12 minutes, and it wasn’t even crowded. The Sonic blast was good, but not awesome. The oreo wasn’t evenly mixed in. I’ll have to try tater tots here! They seem to be popular with the tots.
