This location is closed. Giovanni’s has another location on Williamson in Fullerton. The food is great as is the service. Prices are average.

Love this place. The Italian grinder is bomb.

I am not sure where to start, so I’ll make it simple so this place doesn’t waste any more of my time. The pizza is bland cardboard crust pizza. Watery sauce, bland cheese. The service, if you can call it that, is atrocious. They were BEYOND rude. If your business is booming, I can understand that at times you have a chip on your shoulder. But this place is always slow, so you would think they would worship the ground you walk on. Not this place, that seems to champion mediocrity. Who I perceived to be the owner/manager actually told my wife we were staying too late and should have left a long time ago. Well I tell you old man, if your goal is serve crappy pizza while treating your few customers like trash, then I give you 5 stars for your effort. FAIL

I’ve been coming here for years and get the pizza and spaghetti. This time we got the spaghetti meal. Cheap and filling. Comes with bread and salad. The salad isn’t that exciting. Iceberg lettuce, tomato, a pepper, and dressing. I wasn’t that pleased with the spaghetti sauce this visit. It was lacking something. It was more pasty than saucey. Still a bargain for $ 7. 4 stars because its an inexpensive place… but that’s the saving grace.

Went in to eat and it was blah but I ordered and took it home and yum this pizza was good. Too bad the atmosphere sucks because this pizza is pretty darn good.

I bought a place in La Habra in 2003 and just tried this place– it seems like a cool place. People are nice who work there and the prices were nice. I like beer and again it was a deal. There was a loud crowd monopolizing a room and the«owner looking guy» eventually came and told them to leave, which was very legit. They were a bit louder than they should have been. I will definitely be back when I am staying in La Habra!

Been coming here since 1995. The #28 Deluxe Combination Grinder has been the standard to which I compare all other submarine sandwiches to. It’s that good. They toast the roll to keep it warm & crunchy to contrast the meat, cheese, veggies & Italian dressing.

The Sandwiches here are good, Bread is what makes them good and they come in three sizes. Pizza is average to good, but nothing spectacular along with their pasta. The girls that run the place are always very friendly and cater very well to my four year old. Good family place overall, just what you would expect from a family pizzeria. I keep coming back for those grinders.

If you come here, try the pizza, the pasta is sub-par. Decent sunday brunch, lots of space, good place to have a party or reception. Havent tried the grinders but that will be next. Friendly staff, lots of history!

Yummy grinders and good, not great, pizza. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is clean. They have video games, T.V.s, and host some really cool car shows. I would recommend this place.

Decent pizza, nothing great. Free drink refills. The guy ripped off my friends that were trying to use a coupon though. He made us order more to get to the amount needed and then said he wouldn’t accept it. Said he’d give us a better deal than the coupon but it never happend. My friends were so upset they forgot their keys and sunglasses at the counter!

Had dinner here with some extended family last night. It was pretty good! Absolutely a neighborhood gem, little arcade in the front area with fun art on the walls. The pizza was good and the beer was cold. I don’t know if we’ll ever go back because it’s a bit out of the way for us, but would recommend it to people in the area

Very very good pizza, and they have a monday special and you get a large cheese pizza for only 8 bucks. Their large is the size of an X Large at Pizza Hut or Dominos, its 12 slices and huuge! The cheese is gooey and bubbly, slightly burned, slightly oily and slightly crispy. The sauce is soo spicy, tasty and flavorful. This is my go to pizza joint in the city of Fullerton, and the staff is really cool. Cassie helped me on my last visit and overloaded me with peppers and cheese. Make sure you eat here for a good neighborhood pizza joint to take your family, its better than the other Giovannis location.

Worst pizza ever. You’re better off baking your own Freschetta or DiGiorno. The spaghetti reminded me of grade school cafeteria food, nay, it was worse. The restroom was fetid. Probably from the countless diners who had to rid themselves, out one end or the other of the garbage they just had in the dining area. Seriously, I’m no fan of Pizza Slut, DominHos, Lil Sleazers, etc. but I’d be quick to opt for their pizzas if offered this crap. Anyone who says that this is good food has probably had their heads up their you know what too long and CANNOT differentiate ‘tween the taste of food and and their own colon. Service is walk up, order, and pick up when they call your number. Typical teenage slobbery and etiquette behind the counter. What I’m guessing was the owner came forward through the swinging doors and braved arrest for showing a mug only a mother could love. He must scare all the flavor out of the food.

I’ve been coming here for years, and I’m not sure if they’ve been affected by the way the economy is going these days, but it sure tastes like it. I usually get a pizza here once a week. Reason being, they USEDTOHAVE great pizza. But, since about two weeks ago, I noticed a slight different taste in the pizza. Especially regarding the cheese. It just didn’t taste like it used to, kinda like they use generic brand cheese versus the quality kind. Secondly, I ordered an italian sandwich the other day, and it litterally had 2 slices of meat. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I usually get an Italian Sandwich bc of the amount of variety of meat in the sandwich. So naturally, I almost fell off my seat when I came home and found two thin layers of meat and the rest filled with vegies. Sorry Giovanni’s your rep is going down the drain~!!!

It’s a decent neighboring joint, offering you a pretty simple menu of: pizza, sandwiches and greasy appetizers for your calling. I visited this local restaurant with some friends during lunch hour and we ordered a jalapeño pepperoni pizza and some steak fries with mozarella sticks and spicy chicken wings as an appetizer. The food was yummy, but had lots of grease and I gotta emphasize on grease! The restaurant seems like its been there for quite some time, as the décor is pretty old looking. They do, however, have some classic arcade-type games at the entrance of the restaurant. The service was pretty decent there as well. If you’re in the Fullerton area, give this place a visit.

It looks like one of those places where your parents took you in 1989 after softball games. I’m not going to lie, that is fine with me! I have worked in this area for about a year and this is the only place I can say I frequent for take-out lunch. Their grinder sandwiches are delish(I like the pepperoni and cheese) and the mini-pizzas are also a good choice. If you stay to eat, they serve beer on tap in ice cold glasses. The guy who owns it is pretty nice and always makes sure you have something to drink while you wait.

I’m not a fancy lady, so I don’t mind the half painted walls, ugly neon signs, holes in the ceiling where I think lighting is supposed to go, AND a bathroom that seems truly haunted with creaky doors and dingy lighting. Oh and their staff is kind of weird… Well if you can get past all that I would recommend this place for lunch. They have Weekday Lunch Specials and All You Can Eat Spaghetti Tuesdays. Yummy. I only order their meatball subs and spaghetti so I can’t speak for their other dishes, but there is something very comforting about Giovanni’s food. It’s a hot and tasty meal that doesn’t cost much. I’ve never spent more than 8 bucks on a meal there. So it’s nice on my college-student budget.
