I need cards at the last minute and they went out of their way into care of me within the short notice I’m really grateful they did that thanks

I went to the Office Depot across the street from my house and I just went to get some washi tape for a little project I’m working on. I liked this location because it’s always nice and tidy and the employees are always friendly.
Today when I went in the morning around 11:00, it was almost empty, nice and quiet, I proceeded to the isle I needed to go to and picked what I wanted and went straight to the check out. There was one older guy in front of me ready to check out, he just needed to ask for printer ink behind the registers, the worker that was helping him was calm and friendly even though the customer seemed a little irritated that the documents he had from his work weren’t the correct ones for him to be able to get a discount on the printer ink he wanted to purchase. Although the customer seemed to get more and more frustrated, the worker still stayed calm and respectful even after the customer stormed out cussing to himself about people «wasting his time.» Once it was my turn to pay, I walked up and was greeted by a David S. He seemed like a high positioned employee and proceeded to complete the transaction with some info about the phone and computer repair they provided at the store and helped me figure out if I had a rewards card with them or not. All through this, David S. was friendly and informative but not pushy with trying to get you to come back the next time and buy buy buy, he left room for me to think of all the things I could buy if I completed an online survey and would receive a $ 10 coupon when I spend $ 50 or more. A short survey for $ 10? I was most definitely in, and I don’t know if I would have been so willing if it were some other employee trying to shove their «selling skills» down my throat. Sometimes you just need to try and get on the same level as the customer and you might get some surprising results. Thank you David S.

The most Non helpful, lazy attitude, old associate/​supervisor (I didn’t get his name). Ever.

So many people here but not enough staff. 2 people at the register and that’s it. The manager said he will get to me when he can. As I can see there is a line full of people. So the logic is I will never get help because the mine full of people will just get bigger and bigger. Sad

Good place to go hunting for deals. They frequently have lower prices than other office stores including other office depot’s. I pass by this place every week and each time there is a new deal that is cheaper than everywhere including the internet (and I check prices all the time). Obviously regular priced items can be had at other places for cheaper though. Staff has been friendly for the most part, occassionaly there is one or two that are rude, but overall I am satisfied coming here. I also get coupons in the mail and all go through. One time the coupon was actually not valid but the manager did an override and gave it to me anyway since i’m a frequent customer. I will continue to shop at this Office Depot.
Place is clean and well maintained. Easy parking too.

I had some last minute printing I needed done ASAP. It was already late in the evening when I had emailed my PDF files to Office Depot to print. I received a call from Nicola (I’m so sorry if I spelled your name wrong, I called and asked who printed my order and hopefully I got the right girl) letting me know that my order was printed and I had X amount of time to pick it up before store close. AWESOME!
I love how Office Depot makes printing so darn easy! It’s almost easier to email the PDF files to print rather than walk in and have to use a credit card to use the self help copiers.

Zach was super helpful and gave me the fastest service I’ve ever experience at any Office Depot. Last time I was at the Whittier location 4 employees looked straight at me waiting and literally ran away so they didn’t have to help me!!!

Apparently, Laryl doesn’t want children in his store. Maybe this location should stop selling school supplies and put a sign on the door stating children aren’t allowed… Better yet, they should move their location because it’s next door to Toys R Us! Needless to say, I left my full basket for him. I refuse to shop in his store.

Office Depot has changed so much over the past few years. It’s so completely crowded with merchandise now. Lots of redundancy. They have musc CDs and tons of trinkets at the register, oh and candy too. Whats all this about?
I usually order my ink and paper online, but I forgot this time. I ran out of ink in the middle of a project and had to rush out to pick some up. They had the ink and it was the same price as online. I like coming here and seeing all the stuff, an experience you don’t get online.

Honestly, I only went in to Office Depot to get a a box of pens that contained 12. It’s on sale for $ 1 and I had a coupon for $ 1 off. So basically free. Walking in we were asked if we needed help. (Just browsing)
I find the pens but there’s only red and there open still containing the 12 but I wanted either black or blue. So I asked a worker if he had any and he checked for me and brought the box down for me.
After walking to cash register another lady asks if we are looking for anything.
They are really friendly!
I had no problem with the coupon and got the pens for free.
By the way, copy paper by the register is $ 1!!! Ends soon!

So today I decided it was time to buy my yearly planner. After looking at several different stores I found the one I wanted at Office depot… only problem was that the planner I wanted had last years inserts. I really liked the design of the Loose-​Lead Organizer that I wanted and already had looked at 3 different stores. I decided to ask if the manager could possibly give me a discount on the Organizer so that I could buy this years loose-​leaf inserts. I did not think that this request was anything unreasonable considering the organizer was intended to include the first year. To my surprise the manager said no and her reasoning was because «this years has not been shipped to the store so she can not discount last years». Okay well it’s just about February, I am not a rocket scientist but I have a feeling «this years» is not coming because the design has possibly changed or been discontinued. So instead of buying the organizer I wanted ($ 30.00) and the loose leaf inserts for this year ($ 39.00) I walked out of the store with nothing and have no plans on returning. I couldn’t believe they couldn’t even offer me a 10% discount to help relieve some of the extra cost that I would have had to pay to update there «out-​of-​date» merchandise. Way to go, you lost a customer, a sale and most likely no one else will want to buy your «out-​of-​date» merchandise anyways. Good job Office Depot … I went to Staples and bought an organizer (that was current) and several other office supplies items. If anyone reads this review I recommend you save the hassle

The Print center is awful. Software is out dated and couldn’t even open a simple PDF file from a flash drive. The undertrained staff does not help the situation either. Bad all around. Do not go here if you need even the simplest thing printed.

Whatta bunch of losers. Supposedly they are a UPS drop off location, and yet, when I brought my packages to them (pre-​labeled and everything), they refused to add them to the pile waiting for the UPS truck. They said «their cutoff» is 4:15, never mind they didn’t have to do anything but get out of my way. I don’t really understand why American business delight so in telling their customers «NO», when it’s no skin off their nose not to.
Well, there’s nothing at Office Despot that I can’t get cheaper at Amazon and delivered to my door for free (tax free too).

Received great printing service from Iwona today. She was very helpful over the phone, then we came in the store and she continued to attend to us politely. She was not only very helpful, but she gave great customer service, spoke to us while we were waiting for our copies, and helped us find the lowest price for our printing needs. She’s awesome!

The store seems to be all over the place, not much organization to it. I really only go here for printer ink, other than that, head to staples, they have better selection of everything. Also, every time I’ve went, the employees have been rude and seem to hate their lives. They were so busy trying to push their store card on me, that when I said no thanks, the clerk seemed to take it personal and saw fit to question my intelligence.
Maybe I’ll start buying my ink cartridges in bulk to avoid less trips to this place.

Very disappointed with the customer service at this place, came in to make business cards and the ugly lady with the long grey hair must hate her job because she is rude and has awful customer service. I complained to the so called manager and she seemed to quiet and clueless so I just walked out. Terrible.

I would like to say thanks to Sarah today for making my copy experience today a much much more enjoyable experience. She was quick to help print some 300 copies for me today all while juggling other orders in between. Great job!

We had a purchase of a TV set that we decided to return within the alloted time to make returns. The clerk was courteous and made the procedure as simple without any hassle.

I havent written a 1 star review in a long time, but this place deserves it. I had an order to get some business cards made, but the lady helping me didn’t even know how to use the machine. It kept erasing my document several times. When I paid, they said they took debit (NOT CREDIT) and I swiped my card several times and it never went through. THey said «Sorry we dont take debit» Well you fucking morons why does it say so on your display and in all your advertisements? I ended up leaving, going to the atm and then getting my cash to pay for my business cards.
This place sucks big balls and I dont recommend anyone come here… EVER! Stick to Staples
