Salon Centric

I love this store! ! I have a salon across the street so I visit the store a lot ! All the ladies are super sweet and very helpful ! They always answer every question I have and will even give tips/​advice! It is a friendly easy place to shop. Keep up the good work ladies !

I love this location! All three girls (Susan, Britney and Amanda) are very knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have!

So I just moved to the area, although the salon I work at is in Huntington I wanted to check out the salon centric near me. Two very informative ladies were working, one by the name of Susan– think she was the manager! Very helpful and informative, it’s not everyday you get prestige customer service!!! Very impressed! Thank you Susan you made my visit a good one, and for this I will be returning! I appreciate you!

I went in asking one of the older ladies a suggestion for my virgin hair. The lady became very hostile and raised her voice extremely loudly at me. It was embarrassing. No one was inside except me and my co workers so whatever. She said «you’re really testing my patience.» How rude right?! I don’t know if she thought I was lying about my virgin hair as I’m sure some people do lie but all in all her «suggestions» were useless and my blonde hair came out beautiful with the products I decided to get.
I had made my account online as a new cosmetologist and customer service was so helpful but when I was paying at the store, she and this other tall girl didn’t know what I was talking about so they gave me a NEW client # and sure enough I get an email from customer service that says I already have an account # so to use the first one given to me.
The only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars is because when I went in to get my olaplex, this girl with beautiful green hair and glasses helped me out very kindly. She just asked for my number and found my account right away. Thanks girl!

This salon centric is my favorite!!! I’ll never go to another one! Brittany and Susan are so helpful and kind. They never fail to greet me when I walk in! Seriously the best costumer service!

Ok I’m so happy I switched to this location! I’m an esthetician and I used to go to the Brea salon centric and they just had most terrible serves. So when I came to this location I was amazed they would actually order my Bioelements product I wanted and CALL me when they got it in! Thanks guys! Awesome job!

I tried to contact corporate about 2 weeks ago and received no response. I thought that they would appreciate me reaching out to them directly as opposed to me putting them on blast on Unilocal.Apparently that wasnt the case because I was ignored. I am now beginning to think that bad customer service is apart of their company ideology. So here is the email I sent them:
«Hello, I shopped at your Fullerton location today. The sales lady was the manager with the red hair. I found her to be extraordinarily rude, arrogant, condescending, and insufferable. I was asking a simple question about a color remover and she snottily responded asking if I was a student. I am not a student and I have a been a licensed cosmetologist for a number of years. She immediately gave me attitude about the nature of the color remover. I tried to look past this horrible customer service and ask her my next question about dry shampoos. She showed me a few but this also happened in a offensive manner. She even made a comment about how I couldn’t have my cake and eat it too with a dry shampoo, referencing the fact that I wanted one that absorbed oil but also gave volume. I know that this is untrue because there is a dry shampoo that does both of those things but its retailed at a competitors store and I didn’t necessarily want to make another trip when I was already at a beauty supply store. She even had the audacity to tell me to shop at the competitors store less, well maybe I’d think about it if the employees at Salon Centric were as kind and helpful as those at the competitors store. I ended up going to the other store to get the dry shampoo and mentioned my awful experience at your establishment. Funnily enough, the employees responded with „Oh was it the manager? Yeah the girl with the red hair? We hear a lot of bad stories about her“. So apparently your Fullerton store is generating quite the reputation and its not a flattering one. No wonder I always see your competitors with plenty of people and I hardly see people in Salon Centric. Please focus more on your customer service and less on elitist managers.»

I always find everything I need here. I’ve heard complaints about the manager who I have yet to encounter but that’s beside the point. There’s a sweet girl with teal bangs that works here and she is extremely helpful! She is always honest about the products and never pushes anything on me. I love coming here for pravana products. You can also find really great deals.

I’m new to the area and having been a religious salon centric customer for sometime now. I’ve worked in beauty supply sales so I’m no stranger to the pain in the ass some customers can be even in a strictly professional setting. However these ladies always take the time to go above and beyond to point me in the direction I need to be (new store layout for me) as well as help me stay within budget and get every possible sale that I am eligible for. Susan and her staff do things according to store policy (such as making sure that only salon professionals get there hands on the goods, which protects the integrity of the salon world) however they also have personalities and take the time to get to know their customers. I’m so happy to have a great team to come visit, makes the transition up to the OC run all the more smoothly.

This Salon Centric location is great! All the girls who work here are super helpful and friendly. The store is almost always in stock of all my go-​to products and hair color. I have been going here since this location opened two years ago, and I can count the number of times they’ve been out of stock on one hand. Other SC in the area have really poor selection and the employees don’t ever really look stoked to be there or offer solutions if they are out of stock on a particular product.
Susan the store manager of SC Fullerton is always one to go out of her way to help customers no matter what the complaint or issue! Very knowledgeable about new and different product lines, and eager to educate their customers. :)

Called in today and spoke with Susan, what a rude lady. I am a student who attends school full time, I have all necessary information to open an account and she decided to have a rude attitude the moment I spoke with her and advised me my school would need to contact there company. After I called another salon centric and was greeted by a nice woman with customer service to advised me to come right down with my receipt and form ID. For all of you thinking of visiting this location… Choose another location.
