My family has been going to Kurt for over 20 years. He is honest and very knowledgeable. If he doesn’t have exactly what you are looking for he will design it and get it for you! He also has the best prices around. I am so incredibly happy with my engagement ring, and both my husband and my wedding bands. If you want fantastic service, great quality, and great prices, you have to go to UBS Gems and see Kurt. I will absolutely never go anywhere else.

I went to the jewelry mart to secretly spy on another shop/​booth that I’ve been emailing with regarding a custom setting for a 0.58 carat diamond. I checked out several booths who quoted me lower prices than the other place but I didn’t feel confident. The other booths I visited also tried to sell me semi-​mounts to reset the 1.1 carat diamond that I was already wearing but I tried to stay strong and keep looking because honestly, this place is just so overwhelming and the prices seemed to get lower the further I went.
I wasn’t even halfway through the entire room when I happened upon Kurt’s booth. He was just quietly arranging some items for his display while I browsed through his semi-​mounts. He graciously let me try on all the settings I was interested in. Before I even asked him for a quote on the setting I had in mind, I found the perfect already-​made-​setting for my small center stone. All we needed to do was put it in the ring! I was hesitant at first because the deal he gave me was almost too good to be true but I finally gave in. He even took me back to the jeweler’s room where they put my stone in this beautiful setting. He also cleaned my other rings for me.
I’m so impressed by his no nonesense style and professionalism. No pressure to buy from him at all.
After we completed that transaction, I showed him the setting I originally had in mind and he was like, you know what, I just got something in that’s very similar to that and he wasn’t lying! He quoted me a price that’s almost half of the other places to custom make the setting. I’m definitely coming back for him to make me that setting for my bigger diamond. So excited!

If you are looking for an engagement ring, here is the perfect place. I absolutely fell in love with my engagement at first sight. I have shopped around for a few places and I was very impressed with Kurt’s professionalism, knowledge, and world class customer service. I was able to shop with no pressures of buying a ring. Kurt was very friendly and gave very good advice. I felt very comfortable with him and trust his recommendations. He made me feel confident of my choices and I am so happy with my purchase. He is also a certified gemologist and does designs his own jewelry. I don’t meet too many ppl that are as qualified as Kurt!

I recently bought an engagement ring for my fiancé and she was ecstatic with the quality and esthetics of the ring. Kurt, the jeweler, made the buying experience so easy and pressure-​free. Excellent service! I called to get a diamond switched out and to get my ring resized and made thicker. It came out perfect! I’m so glad my fiancé accidentally found this place! Lol

First let me say that Kurt is awesome! I was looking for an engagement ring for girlfriend at the time (fiancé now) I went to the jewelry exchange in Tustin and was so let down. It felt like a used car store and I felt pressured to buy a diamond that wasn’t certified and had huge carbon spots in it. I know a bit about diamonds and thought the jewelry exchange would have been a good place to go. Let me say DO NOT GO THERE! Anyway I found the jewelry mart in Fullerton and thought I’d give it a try. When I walked in I found UBS and Kurt was so welcoming and professional. He knows what he’s talking about and gave me a pressure free buying experience. I found the ring that we wanted and bought diamonds that were better than I expected to get! For the price that the other place was trying to sell a flawed diamond I got a GIA certified VS1 from Kurt. Could not recommend this place more. Thank you so much UBS you guys are awesome.

Let me start off by saying that I am part crow. Anything sparkly grabs my attention– glitter, tin foil, broken glass. you get the picure. Knowing the aforementioned quirk, the Jewelry Mart is my happy place and UBS is the twinkle in my eye.
I was referred to Kurt by a few friends who had engagment rings made by him. Each one ring is beautiful and unique and I secretly want to steal each of them (oops, cat’s out of the bag; sorry ladies). Kurt is super friendly, patient and has a good eye for details. He’s also approachable, so I don’t feel silly for asking questions.
USB’s service is great. He sized a ring for me this weekend and while I waited helped me design a ring setting for some random sapphire and diamond studs I don’t wear (if you’ve ever had your ears stretched, baby studs just don’t stay in– what was I thinking?).
Quality and pricing is great, and when the BF and I are ready to shop for THE ring (sigh), I know we’ll go see Kurt.

I had left I bad review on what I had bought and I just want to say I was wrong where I had the jewelry tested they had made a mistake and the diamonds I bought are real

UBS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST! Kurt has the best prices the freshest items and is awesome at custom designs and customer service. The quality and craftsmanship cannot be beat by anyone else in the jewelry mart. He has been our # 1 go to guy for our ENTIRE family for more than 15 years. We have had family come all the way from Canada & Arizona to buy engagement rings and much more. And if he doesn’t have it he’ll get it for you and if you can imagine it he’ll make it for you! I have never been disappointed and always walk away with a smile oh and walk back with one too. Anyway enough said he’s the best!

Kurt was extremely helpful when it came to picking out an engagement ring for my fiancé. Not only did he do custom work on the band, he also had a good selection of diamonds and hard-​to-​beat prices. On top of that, he wasn’t pushy and in fact was extremely friendly.
We compared prices and service with many other jewelers at the Fullerton Jewelry Mart. Some were okay, some were good, but Kurt and UBS were the best. I highly recommend checking them out. The booth is in the northwest corner of the store, right by the door.

I had wanted to custom design my then fiancé wedding ring & was referred to Kurt by one of my coworkers who had her gorgeous wedding ring made here. I liked Kurt right away, he was so friendly open and very knowledgeable.
