I am terrified of getting my hair cut because people always seem to cut it too short or don’t understand how my hair really is. It’s super frizzy and curly, not easy to tame. This was my first time in like 4 years getting a cut and it was a great experience! I think they could tell I was nervous. The hair dresser really worked with me for what I wanted in a cut and style. She even showed me all around the place and explained what all they do there. New customers get a free deep conditioning too! It was a great experience!

Happy with my cut, price and length of time to accomplish. My cut was $ 54. They do kids and I was happy with my daughters stylist and cut. The price for kids is $ 25 which was a bit more then I wanted to spend but worth it for my daughters hair. I may give them a try for my son’s hair at some point but wasn’t quit ready to fork over $ 25 for short boys hair. The store was clean, friendly and accommodating. The area where the shop is located is cute. There are several places to eat, a harris tweeter, gas station, Bra store, organic dry cleaners. Its about a 25 – 30 minute drive from downtown Silver Spring, 10 – 12 minute from Burtonsville.

Pedicure was amazing, but manicure was no good. My manicurist was so nice, but she didn’t really clean up my nails the way I was hoping. All I got was a quick file and a cuticle clip, not cleaning anything up around the edges. Also, she clipped my cuticle so badly that I had to take off my manicure because it was starting to get infected. It’s still painful and swollen 4 days later. Other than that, a nice clean place! I’ll go back for the pedicure ($ 45 for a signature, worth it) but not the manicure.

I recently moved to the area and decided to try out this place. I was able to book a same day appointment. As soon as I walked in I was very impressed! Did not expect this level of luxury in a strip mall! High ceiling, beautiful décor, complimentary coffee, water and cookies, all lovely. I received a free conditioning treatment as a new customer. I was offered a wide range of hair products to choose from as well, which I was gently encouraged to purchase. The stylist was helpful plus I liked my haircut and blow out, although it was a little shorter than what I asked for.

I went here on a whim for my first Brazilian wax. They were amazing. First of all when you walk in, the place is gorgeous and they have a huge collection of products! They were so nice at the front desk and my appointment was right on time. Beena was amazing at making me feel completely comfortable and she did a great job! I’m coming from Annapolis and I’m happy to make the drive once a month for this amazing service. Not to mention the manager came and introduced herself to me on my way out to make sure my visit was great and offered me a deal on a mani/​pedi! Will definitely be going back.

Brittany cut both of my daughters’ hair, which they had grown down to their lower back. She gave them both adorable stacked bobs that have been so easy to manage (wash and go!). The cut was also inexpensive ($ 20), especially for such a nice looking salon. Brittany took her time cutting and washing their hair. One daughter has wavy/​curly hair and it also turned out great!

Great staff and owner. A really nice place where everyone feels welcome and taken care of! Got my hair colored by Krista and it was flawless!!!

The staff is wonderful! If you want to get a great color and cut, go see Jen D! She is absolutely amazing. She cares about what you want and listens to what you ask for. I have been going there for years, even when it was in burtonsville, and I would never go anywhere else!

This is the worst haircut I’ve ever gotten in my life. I was trying to grow out a short haircut I got months earlier and I asked for a simple trim with some layers in the back. The girl who cut my hair — her name was Liz and she was very young and clearly inexperienced — gave me two different hairstyles in the front and the back. She didn’t cut much length from the front but she cut my hair so short it in the back, it looked like a reverse mullet of some sort. My shortest layers were just barely 2 inches from the root of my scalp! I was so embarrassed. It was way shorter than my initial cut and it was so ugly I nearly cried when I got home. To make matters worse, I was starting a new job 2 days from the appointment and I went in just to get a trim and wound up with shorter hair than I ever had, and not even a cute cut. Due to the lengths of the layers, it has taken so long to grow out and even though it has, I still have short pieces all around the top. It has been 6 months and I still regret going to this salon. I have heard that Christina and Jen are good but please avoid Liz if you are looking for a decent haircut.
