A great local joint! Fantastic food and a great staff. Good spot for Sunday football or a casual night out.

I really enjoyed my food and and owner John is great. He’s hands on unlike some places. I’m going back to watch the game and more hot wings.

We live 2 minutes down the road and find this a great location and enjoy having it so close! Every time we visit they are pretty slow, like 2 – 3 tables have people seated. We always order the cheeseburger wrap or steak bowl which are both amazing! — recommend trying if you go.

We read the other Unilocal reviews, so we timed how long it took the hostess there to bring out food for a large gathering of over a dozen folks. They had everyone served in exactly 22 — 25 minutes, so service has improved over prior posts. We also found the staff to be friendly and courteous. I only visit FV every 2 — 3 years for a family reunion, so I won’t be back again for a while. I found the food to be worthy of 4 stars!

I was visiting Raleigh this past weekend and we tried to go to this place and were treated horribly. The manager was rude and disrespectful. At first, there were 3 of us that had been at a bar before were we had a few beers and were a little loud and chatty however no where near as intoxicated as she made it seem. Our waiter came over to ask for our order and left before completing his sentence when the manager came out to tell us she would not serve us any alcohol because we were too drunk. The first problem is we were there to order food and hadn’t even requested a drink. The second problem occurred when the rest of our group showed up, all of whom were planning to eat there. Since we went from a group of 3 to a group of 15 and the manager realized the loss of revenue she had caused she completely changed her tune. She went from being rude to trying to back track. All of us promptly got up to take our business elsewhere. No need to be disrespected for having a few beers. Especially when she has been seen in a worse state. Unfortunately for her and the business, not one person from our group will ever try to go there again. Good work manager.

Place was not bad at all. We went there right when it opened. Place was real clean and the wait staff was very courteous and professional. The wings were amazing and the firecracker burger was very tasty! I definitely recommend everyone try it.

This review is based on probably 15 visits to the Fuquay-Varina Beef O’Brady’s(i.e., this was not a 1 time negative review). There were reasons that kept us coming back, those reason are now gone and as such, our last visit was indeed our last. They have good food. Pretty much anything I have ever had there is above-average bar food. Pricey, but tasty for what it is… bar food. They potentially have a good atmosphere… nice patio, lots of TV’s, spacious/pretty bar area. Why I will not go back: Their collective attitude towards customers & overall service sucks. We started frequenting this place around NFL Play-offs in 2013(into early 2014). On Sunday’s they had $ 1.5 domestic drafts and $ 0.50 wings. I have plenty of money to pay full price for wings and beer — but(1) — I do love a good deal and(2) — when NOT on special, $ 8.25 for 6 wings is CRAZYEXPENSIVE(IMO). Anyway… this turned into«our Sunday spot». Then — in spite of us going here to watch the football games, we always had issues with the TV’s. 4:30 p.m. on an NFL Play-off Sunday 9 of the 15TV’s would be on bowling and the other 6 on a rodeo. Com’ on management — know your audience; or at least know what day it is. When we would ask for a specific TV near us to be changed, the wait staff would cringe… they were seemingly afraid of the management and didn’t want to ask. More than once, instead of relaying our TV channel change request themselves, they would send the manager over so that WE could talk to him. **Also want to point out that the place would NOT be full. We would intentionally sit in an area where the changing of a channel would not impact anyone else that happened to be enjoying bowling** Point is, the TV’s would get changed, we would eat a ton of $ 0.50 wings, order several non-special(not specially priced) appetizers and more drinks and leave a nice tip… Even with wings on special, we are into it for a $ 100 meal(4 adults) After football season, we have also frequented the outside patio(again, on Sunday’s) … BO’B’s seriously because the place we went to on Sunday’s. Last 3 visits: Service was horrible. There wasn’t anything on TV we wanted to watch, so we didn’t even bother. Took forever to get food and the special request of «crispy» wings seemed to be intentionally under-cooked. But the final visit(2÷15÷2015) … wings are no longer on special(in spite of napkin holder sitting on our table still advertising it). We asked our sever(a kind of goofy guy that was part of the problem) to ask the manager if he would accommodate the special this last time, since we didn’t know. The guy would not even ask and appeared to be afraid to approach the manager on the customer’s behalf. First of all, a good waiter would have either asked or figured out a way to enter it into the computer this one last time. Or a decent waiter would have lied to us with a smile and said he was going to ask the manager and then return the the table all apologetic that he tried, but was unsuccessful. Let me restate: I am capable of paying full price for wings. But I also am smart enough that I have given my last penny to a restaurant who doesn’t understand customer service. There are too many choices out there. I honestly hope everyone stops going so they can close and we get the opportunity to have a local place that will appreciate its patrons. FYI: New Sunday afternoon hang-out is shaping up to be Mason Jar Tavern… so keep it local, my friends!

Terrible management. Made several in our party wait 45 minutes to be served, by which time the rest of the party had finished eating. Manager sent out the poor, young waiter to make excuses instead of offering an explanation or trying to make it good. First and last time for me.

We have been to Beef O Brady’s many times! We moved here from Florida and know very well about Beef’s! When they opened in Fuquay Varina we were so happy and went many times and took several people !! Tonight New Years Eve 2014 we decided To go have a couple beers and our favorite wings! It was a disaster and I would never ever go back! The waiter was clueless! But worst than that the owner tried to fix it it but when she didn’t do what she said we had enough and we walked out!!! We will never go back but we discover Aviators in Fuquay and that is where we will go get wings from here on out!

Went to dinner on a Sunday night, place was about ½ full. Waiter was very nice but bordering on being way to buddy-buddy for my taste. He did recommend good beers but it went downhill after that. I ordered the prime rib sandwich with a side salad which we clearly asked for before the food came. My wife ordered the grilled fish with rice and broccoli. After about 15 minutes the server came by to recheck what we ordered, not a good sign. about 30 minutes later the food finally arrived all at once(salad with the rest of my meal). My food was good, but nothing to write home about. A smallish sandwich and a salad ran me about $ 13. My wife’s fish came and while it was cooked very well, the seasoning they used had way too much salt and made it almost inedible. We scraped off what we could and mentioned it to the server. He suggest we rub the rice pilaf that came with the fish on it to get some of the salt off of it. I’m not usually bothered by a bit too much salt, but even I couldn’t stand it. On top of that our server only came to check on us once and never offered to get refills. All in all, wait staff was friendly, but service was very slow, food was below average. Nothing here to make us want to come back.

We have given this restaurant multiple opportunities, and each time we leave sadly disappointed in our dining experience. My complaint can be listed as anyone of the following and sometimes a combination of extreme wait time for food, poor service from employees, And/or poorly prepared food. Needless to say, we will not be giving Beef O Brady’s another chance.

Burgers are always good — I love the OMG burger, it’s fantastic. Wings are cooked well with a wide variety of sauces. Salads and sides are generally very good. We have always found the service to be fast and friendly. We have not been for dinner but it is a go to place for lunch — for certain.

First time here and I can’t say enough good things. Food was awesome. Got the best pickles chips I’ve ever had and that’s compared to some other very good restaurants in the area. And there was a ton of them. Wife got mushroom and Swiss burger and I got O’Bradys burger, both were excellent. Fries that came with the burger were awesome. Service was fast and friendly. Prices were more than reasonable, two burgers, appetizer, and a beer for $ 30. We will definitely be back again to try something else from their huge selection.

I don’t know why I decided to go here, sports bar type restaurants, especially chain ones always have the same kind of uninspired food, but a friend of mine would always talk about how GREAT Beef O Bradys was(plus I had a Groupon making it $ 9 cheaper). As soon as we were seated the first thing out of the waiter’s mouth is how they are having a «contest» to see who can sell the most upgrades. I’m like WTF?! Why are you telling me this? Do you think I care? Is that supposed to make me WANT to upgrade my meal, just so you win some stupid contest? Whatever, the guy was a professional waiter, he was good, I’ll give him that. But he needs to drop the«boss man» line. I really don’t like being made to feel like I am being bossy just because I’m coming into a restaurant to eat. I know that’s probably not his intention, but that’s how I felt after the 5th time of him calling me «boss man». Now onto the food. Well, not much to say there really. I was hoping for a surprise. I didn’t get it. The fish and chips were tasteless and dripping in grease(although the fries were actually quite good). My wife’s Caesar salad was swimming in dressing. Dressing that wasn’t tasty at all. My kid wouldn’t take more than 2 bites of her cheeseburger sliders, after I ate one I understood why. I don’t really know why anyone would eat here. Not too far up the road is Tyler’s Tavern, which is a real sports bar, with lots more beers on tap, much better food(although a much smaller selection), and 30 big screen tv’s(plus 11 pool tables). Maybe they are catering to families, but even so I’d rather go to Applebees where the food is at least halfway decent. Or drive outside of FV where there are much better restaurants.

We came here Sunday for 50 cent wings and $ 1.50 pints. Wings were cooked to order, just the right size(not too big), beer was cold and waitress was attractive and attentive. What else could one ask for? 34HD TVs. We’ve ate here twice before for lunch. Great $ 6.99 lunch specials. I like the post-Cooleys atmosphere here. I great option here in the Quay.

Very nice place for Fuquay. They make you feel at home and service is unbeaten. Nice view while sitting at the bar. I haven’t eaten there yet but will be going back often. I went back later for food and was disappointed. The food was just okay bar food. The wait service was very poor. We had to ask numerous times for the same request before our waitress finally remembered.

Let me say I’m one happy lady to have a family friendly restaurant grace the streets of downtown Fuquay. Much needed and much appreciated. The restaurant itself has had a complete facelift from«Cooleys» long gone is the musty smell of mildew lol The ambiance is fitting and open and they even have TV’s in the bathroom. How’s that for cool?! The service is pretty decent. My BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger was pretty yummy but I was disappointed by my lukewarm old unseasoned fries(a little salt never hurt nobody) The have an extensive drink menu which I look forward to tasting in the near future once I deliver. It was a little odd to have the majority of the TV’s tuned into tennis when it’s a Sunday afternoon and the PANTHERS are playing. Odd. Overall I look forward to dining here again and again!
