Hardee’s

First visit when they opened was ok but they need a structure for the line. We entered from the highway side and were in line we thought when others came in from the shopping area and went right in front of all of us. ugh.
Anyway 2^nd visit today: My wife ordered the 3pc chicken tender combo thinking it was the $ 5 special we’ve seen advertised. I thought our total was too high so I even asked the cashier for our receipt and she said we’d get it with the food. Well, when we got our food and receipt I noticed it was $ 6.49 so I went to ask. The manager on duty (grumpy lady she is) said «you have tell the cashier you want the 5pc special if you want the $ 5 special. You ordered the 3pc and it’s regular price». If the cashier had any training just perhaps she could have reminded, asked or even recommended the special to us. And for the manager lady to essentially say it’s our fault tough — well she made quite an impression. On a rare evening we decide Hardees for dinner and drive 12miles for it. Wow what a mistake. My fish sandwich — the fish was lukewarm at best. The fries, etc. were fine. All the manager had to say and should had said IMHO was «let me make that right» or «the cashier should have mentioned that to you» or something other than you got what you ordered. Lesson /​Impression at Hardees I suppose for us. It is fast food after all.

New Hardee’s just opened on October 19 2015. Very modern clean looking inside. The inside is setup on like an angle. The pick up counter is set to the right side corner. The bathrooms are on the opposite side of the counter separated by a nice looking stone accent wall. The dining room is small but a good size for a Hardee’s.
For a new store they did well. After ordering they give you a number for your table. Thats nice i can get my drinks sit and they deliver the food to the table. No more waiting for food while people are trying to order.
My daughter and i both got the and dipped milkshakes. One chocolate and strawberry, OMG they are really good shakes. My little loved all the whip cream on top.
