When all else fails, thee is always Hardee’s. I had the $ 5 chicken tender combo(with fries and a soda), and it was served quickly and freshly made. If you’re looking for ok food served quickly, and on a budget, this is for you.

Hardee’s. When desperate, it seems like a good idea. When not desperate, it makes you feel rather greasy. Pros: — The staff is helpful, although not very friendly. They are fast. — The food is seems fresh, and cooked to order. Cons: — The food might be fresh, but it does not taste good. The beef in the burgers isn’t bad, but it’s rather dry, poorly packed, and a bit dull. The toppings are completely unbalanced, too much blue cheese(this is a strong cheese, it can get rough), and too much A1 sauce. Both these things seem to be to mask the flavor of the meat. Limp vegetables don’t elevate the experience. — The chicken has a great crispiness, but the flavor is odd, lacks salt, and seems to share it’s lack of flavor with the dipping sauce. Overall, fast food burgers have just gotten better. Wendy’s new burger smokes Hardee’s Thickburger, and Five Guys is only a little bit more for a burger that’s much better than both. Even McDonald’s is better and they haven’t even changed. If you’ve never had Hardee’s, you’re not missing much.
