So for over a month every weekend I’ve been coming to red roof. An I have to say I’m throughly impressed! With the remodeling. Newly painted. New fixtures. New furniture. It’s looking really nice other hardwood floors too. I deff recommend staying here the people are very nice. An it’s very clean!

Second time here this year on a cross country drive. Staff is polite, rooms and facilities clean and quiet. Highly recommend as a cheaper place to stay.

I travel a lot, it’s part of work for me, and while this would probably suffice if you’re stuck for a night passing through, it’s not the kind of place you want to spend more than a few nights in. Pro: — The rooms are cheap. — Everything in the room worked. Cons: — The rooms are kind of dingy, dark, and gloomy. It seems as though very little money has been invested since the hotel was created. The carpet may never have been cleaned. The bathroom seems to have a similar problem, and the tub is stained in that way that makes you wonder if you should wear sandals in. — The bed may have been made of rocks. I’m a deep sleeper, and that bed gave me trouble. Heck, the coach seat on the way to Australia was better. — The breakfast is questionable at best. It looks and tastes very phoned in. — The ownership is a bit… odd. There’s nothing wrong with being a casual owner, but it’s bad enough having someone else’s screaming children in the hotel, let alone the owners… — On a similar note, the hotel is apparently listed as retail by AMEX. As they noted, it’s clearly not. — While it’s not a deal breaker, the lack of elevator was rather annoying when moving in or out. Overall, it’s just not enjoyable. I was supposed to stay a week, I moved to the Hampton after 2 days. Avoid this hotel if you have a chance.
