Ordered two pizzas and a sub for delivery, and was told it would be 45 minutes. An hour later the delivery driver shows up with just a sub. He was very sweet, and went back for our pizzas. Another 40 minutes later, we had our pizzas delivered, and instead of them being free, we were told that our next order would be credited the amount spent. WHAT?! This place needs to get their service together. There are way too many great pizza places to eat at, for them to not provide good customer service and quality delivery.

First I need to say I go to the Grapevine In Pickerington all the time as I live here. They are pretty dang good. Flew in from airport and had to stop in to Gahanna for dinner. Got a Pepperoni Pizza large. Pizza was way under done. Place was almost completely empty but service was still terrible. Manager was at bar drinking with boyfriend or friend? We couldn’t get any attention at all when our beers were out maybe this is why. Not sure if owner from Pickerington owns this location as well but it is a night and day difference. Looked at other poor reviews here and wish I would have looked at Unilocal PRIOR to dining in. My guess is this store wont be here long…

Ate there yesterday for dinner. Sat at the bar. There were lots of TVs to watch games. I ordered. 10 inch meat lovers and a soda. The server was friendly and service was prompt. My pizza was hot and tasty. My main recommendations to improve are to use more tomato sauce and use Italian sausage. Like almost all Columbus pizza they don’t know what Italian sausage is and use some kind of mild ground pork. But for a Columbus pizza it was good. I just wish Columbus pizza owners would visit some cities that know how to make pizza and bring back the recipes. The best pizza I’ve had was a take an heat deep fish pizza at Costco. So I’d recommend Grapevine if you are looking for a good pizza and a place to watch sports.

My wife and I stopped by after dropping into Hallmark and before we went to Kroger. We walked in right after what should’ve been a lunch rush but there was about three guys at the bar(only drinking) and maybe one couple at a table in the whole joint. We asked to be seated at a booth and did so promptly. We were quickly served our drinks and were given some popcorn to snack on. We were told by the server(s) they would check back in a minute to get our order. After about ten minutes of waiting for them to come back I had to get up and walk over to the bar where they were busy chatting up the gentlemen getting drunk together. They seemed much more interested in them, than they did us. I notified the server we were ready to order if someone could wait on us. They finally took our order, my wife got a pepperoni pizza and I the meatball pizza. After waiting a bit longer than a reasonable amount of time our pizzas arrived. Everything came as we ordered it but we were underwhelmed overall. The pizza was ok, but was quite expensive for average tasting pizza. As an example, my large meatball pizza was about $ 16 and it wasn’t that big, nor did it have that many meatball pieces on it. The pizza was ok, the server(s) were polite, albeit seemingly uninterested in helping us. We won’t be back and we wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. However, if you want a place to get a/some drink(s) and spend more money on pizza than you need to, it’s probably a friendly local place to stop by.

Worst service Ever! We love their pizza. They should close the GAhanna store. We have been there five times and it gets Worse every time. Go to their other two shops. Difference of night and day. Gahanna store will kill them!

First Unilocal review ever… I’ll keep it simple. I recommend you don’t ever go to the Grapevine at stoneridge plaza. Each trip has been worse than the previous. Tonight we couldn’t even get food. We ordered it, but gave up on getting it after an hour and ten minutes. Once the waitress informed us our pizza must have been given to one of the other 5 tables of people in the whole restaurant, we decided to make the choice that the people across the isle from us chose and that was to leave before getting our food. The waitress asked that we wait, so she could talk to her manager and 7 minutes later brought us a bill for $ 14. This was to cover the 2 yuenglings, 1 coors light, and 1 kids lemonade we ordered. On the way out, I asked the hostess if I could get a business card of whoever was in charge so I could share my experience. She said the owner was in the back and I asked to see her. She came out and happily took my $ to pay for our drinks and sent us on our way. Please stay away!!! Many other good options in the area.

Let me start off by saying visiting on a very dead Monday night about 7:00p.m. waitress visited our table and took our beer order quickly. Beers were delivered several minutes later although place was practically empty. After waiting a few to put our order in which was nachos as an appetizer and a BBQ chicken pizza with a burger for my wife the appetizer finally came out agonizingly slow. Nachos were huge plate but buried in gooey cheese chili sauce and lettuce, nachos didn’t hold up to this mess and made them completely soggy. Pizza was delivered about 10 minutes later and I can’t in good consciousness say it was very good, BBQ sauce looked like the lid popped open on them and they created a pond of it on top of the pizza. Now comes the part where I had to ask the waitress after 30 min where was my wife’s burger? My friend and I were almost done eating our unfinished pizza before her burger even came out. Don’t expect any prompt service from the kitchen or to get all your party’s food all at once. This place could use a «Restaurant Rescue» if I ever saw one, I’m not giving it much time to survive. I felt like I was bent over and shafted once I received the check too for a party of 3 with the slow service and dimwitted waitress and all, nachos, pizza, burger, 3 tall drafts, 3 short drafts-78 $ completely not worth it and will never return.

We have given Grapevine a couple chances in the name of supporting local business. Service was spotty the first time, we chalked it up to the recent opening. The second time we watched two«hostesses» and several other employees hang around behind the front desk while we waited 15 minutes for bottled beers and another 10 for a chili dip appetizer that arrived cold. Have these folks act as expediters and our experience improves dramatically. Our server(the bartender) worked his butt off so extra star for him.

This bar has everything you could possibly want and desire in a full service bar! Let’s not forget the amazing pizza and friendly smile. The owners are amazing. Who knew you could find southern hospitality in the north! I must say this is my new hangout spot for beer, wine and amazing pizza!

Nothing special. The place was dead at 6:00 on a Saturday night. The pizza sauce wasn’t that great but the crust was alright. Doubt we will ever go back. Sadly Cicis was better.

Let me start by saying if you just want carry out food, I would add a third star for food and food alone. I am so disappointed to be giving this place a 2-star review. I have gone to the Pickerington location on multiple occasions, and was looking forward to having one in my neck of the woods. There was a BOGO coupon in the Gahanna saver magazine, so we were stoked to finally check it out! What a letdown. The atmosphere is NOT the warm and friendly and alive atmosphere of the Pick location. It was bare and cold. Stark. And I don’t know if it was a hostess or a patron or a cleaning product or what, but the air was heavily floral perfumed, an unappetizing aroma for a pizza joint. Our server was friendly enough, but she seemed to space out on some basic services — like bringing plates when she brought the pizza(I had to ask for them) and providing a table with five people, two of whom were small children, with three napkins(and I asked her twice for more napkins — after she walked past us four more times still not stopping with napkins, I went to the hostess stand to get them myself). The place was NOT busy, either — there were maybe 5 or 6 tables in the whole place. Another personnel issue we had was the bartender. We had a question about one of the beer offerings and asked what kind of beer it was. We were expecting an actual type — lager, porter, ipa, etc. I’ll give him this much — he brought over a sample. But he couldn’t tell us anything about it and described it as, «a medium beer — between a light beer and a dark beer.» Um… Bartenders should be a little more knowledgeable about their wares. The food is ok. Nothing earth shattering, but decent greasy bar food, decent pizza. The white pizza with chicken, tomatoes, and mushrooms was tasty. I would get pizza as carryout in the future. The beer selection is pretty weak. They advertised in the saver magazine as having craft beers, but there were just a few craft offerings. The majority were totally mundane — bud and yuengling and miller and whatnot. If you like beer with actual flavor, you’re not going to have many options here. Oh — one last heads up! If you come in with a coupon like the one in the saver(buy a large pizza, get a medium pizza free!), even though there is no small print about what that entails, there are apparently restrictions. So if you want toppings, you still pay for your toppings. The«pizza» is «free», but the toppings are not. Disappointed in this place. We would only patronize in the future for carryout orders, never dine in. And honestly, we have other preferred pizza joints for carryout, so I doubt we will be returning even for that. I guess if we are craving grapevine, we will have to drive out to Pickerington.

Came in for lunch first visit not so good. Only one in the place so a bad sign to start. Ordered small pie with pep, sausage, mush, jalapeño. Mistake on my part should have got the basic pep for first try to get better gauge of crust, sauce, cheese the key components. Sausage classified as «premium topping» for $ 2 extra. No idea why, it was nothing special. Got my $ 2 worth though they loaded so much on could barely recognize it was a pizza. Sauce — don’t know which canned sauce they are using but I got the distinct flavor of a cheap #10 can sauce. Cheese — decent enough, too many toppings couldn’t tell if it was straight mozz or a blend. Crust — NY style with a little crisp, not bad. Bar — comfy atmosphere with 4 big screens for games. Adequate draft selection for what the place is. Bartender was friendly, but dude just looked like he rolled in straight out of a 24 hr bender. Give me some eye candy at least. Can go to a similar pub close by that has very good pies and cute bartenders. Try it again? Yes, will try a simpler pie next time and want to check out subs. Wings? They are breaded which is a crime against humanity. No thanks. Bottom line — something tells me this establishment doesn’t hold much of a long term future.

Ok place, super close to where I live, but not a place that I would return to. Extremely dead and the atmosphere is bland. Servers are nice, but not very attentive even on a VERY slow night. You can find better pizza at Romeo’s.

I’ve been here a couple times now since it’s so close to me. The first time had some wings which were under-cooked…not good. The next time had some pizza with my favorite toppings combo… sausage and green peppers. The sausage were pellets and the green pepper was chopped up… I prefer the more natural sausage chunks and thinly sliced green peppers just like Romeo’s does it down the street. Just not sure the sub-par food quality is going to cut it in a very competitive market in Gahanna. What kept this from having just 1 star is it’s actually quite good as a sports bar… plenty of tv’s and good beer on tap.

We’ve been there 2 times to take out pizza and both times the pizza has been just warm. Even though we had to wait for the pizza to be done. Don’t think we’ll be going back. The chicken strips also taste like they’re frozen and thawed out when ordered.

Great pizza! Some of the best in Columbus. Down side is service or lack of. Took over 10 minutes to get waters. Waitress placed order incorrectly. All food did not come out together. We also had to ask the bar tender for drink refills because our waitress never stopped by to see how our meal was. Keep in mind there was only two other tables of customers. Will be willing to try again just for the food. Hope service is better next time.

It was Tuesday, so I had to try this new close-to-home pizza place. The«coming soon» signs, which I drove by for months had driven me crazy. On this Tuesday, Grapevine was lacking in patrons. Hopefully it picks up because they have a nice, fully stocked, bar with a decent on-tap selection of brews. Service by the bartender was top-notch, five stars — attentive with a good sense of humor and lots of offers for free popcorn. The menu lists some interesting appetizers — I’ll have to go back for those as I was here for the pizza. Grapevine flings out a traditional Ohio-style pie, with the crust being slightly thicker than most. The pizza had a fair amount of sauce(the more sauce, the better in my book). The cheese was fresh and very creamy. The shrooms, not so much(then again, who wants creamy shrooms?) Grapevine is definitely worth a try and much better than most of the nearby chains. North of three stars, but not quite four, in my tastes.

If only I could give zero stars. This place was filthy. Door windows were so dirty they were foggy. The floor was sticky too. First time here and was too afraid to try anything. Cleanliness is everything.

Took my parents, siblings, wife, and son here to celebrate my parents’ new home nearby-ish. The setting was okay, more bar like than the normal pizza place– family friendly setting. Service was slightly less than average. Beer selection is very good for both tap and bottles. They carry CBC on tap which is a must. But what really makes this place great is their pizza(duhhh it’s in the name). We had the a large Mexican pizza and the classic pepperoni. They both easily fed our family of 8(which isn’t typical), and we both amazing. My family has always been fond of the(New Albany) Eagle’s taco pizza, but it couldn’t shake a stick at Grapevine’s Mexican pizza. The crust was somewhat similar to a Tommy’s but some how it stays crispy under all of the cheesy, beefy goodness that this pizza calls toppings. Pepperoni pizza was very good as well!

I considered 3 stars, but pizza temperature cannot be penalized for takeout. I look forward to dining in a some point. It is new to this neighborhood, so it’s all clean and shiny. I was put off by the teenage staff antics while waiting for my pie. A bit unprofessional for the front of the house. Especially considering the only dine in table was very close by. I like a crisp crust with plenty of tasty sauce. This fell right in my wheelhouse. Edge to edge toppings. I found the sauce with a slight hint of sweetness, but I was really looking for it. It in no way would be classified as a sweet sauce. The pizza itself had great taste, and flavor. We put the pizza in to re-heat at 400 for a few minutes while we considered the first couple square cut pieces. The cheese was not burnt, and the crust got crispier. Now it’s cracker crust perfection. I will update after a dine in experience.
