I’ve had a jacket taken in by Deloris and my boyfriend had some pants hemmed here. She is definitely the best option in Gainesville. Too many times my bf has had people argue with him about the length pants should be but Deloris seems to know what’s fashionable and what her customers want. She was also patient when I stopped by for the second time to make sure I explained exactly how I wanted my jacket.

Deloris is great! I went to her to have two pairs of pants taken in at the waist and she did a great job. When I stopped in around the end of the day, I was served promptly and with great kindness. Even though her small workspace was filled with pending items to be mended or altered, Deloris had my order done much sooner than I anticipated. When I returned to pick them up, they were perfect! I will definitely go to her again and again, and recommend her to all of my friends!

Deloris does a great job — she came recommended by a very fastidious friend of mine. The storefront is unassuming in a slightly worn-​down section of NE 16th Avenue but don’t be put off. Deloris has a small operation and is always busy but gives great personal attention and advice. She takes great pride in her work. She fixed some awful alterations I had done elsewhere and she gave me lots of options to resize a few things I’d bought online. The results are great! Everything is stitched well and lies flat, the quality is excellent. The solutions she offered worked very well. I will go back again and again now that I’ve discovered her. It’s hard to find a good, attentive seamstress and my friend swears by her consistency and service. If you want great quality work (wo)manship and attentive, personal and friendly service, Deloris is your destination.
