Here today for Florida/Alabama game. After eating the absolute saltiest prime rib sandwich on earth my girlfriend noticed a hair attached to the toothpick in the sandwich. It was short, black and curly. The manager blamed the toothpick company, completely missing the point of being a leader and apologizing and fixing it. He got upset when I kept doubting his insane story and only took off the food cost when I insisted. Absolutely inept leadership and sub par food. The bartender would make a much better manager she was great. Avoid

I tried this location and it was boomin busy… But by 9pm the crowed moved on and had the whole place with a few others to our selves. The wait staff and the bartender was still on it though! It was great. Fried Pickle app was yum… Not expected though, thanks to our server(you know who you R ;) the recommendation went great with beer n wings! Thanks I recommend staying or going to the after party at this location.

I tried this location in 2005, because it was near my home. I did not like the service, so I never went back. I took a friend out recently for a retirement lunch of his restaurant choice. Now I’m forced to re-evaluate, because our server was terrific. My retiring friend enjoyed his meal(but he’ll have to do a write-up on it himself). I had the combo appetizer(from among the shareables) and the Reuben sandwich. I greatly enjoyed the appetizer, but the Reuben was short on sauerkraut(try absent). The server graciously had the chef whip up a cup for me. I didn’t care for the kraut, as it happens – still, I enjoyed the sandwich overall. Again, the appetizer samples were terrific. I had my hubby pick up take-out from the restaurant a couple of days later(hey, it’s too close to home to continue overlooking it). I had the Ribs and Tenders(also from the shareables) and the chicken wings. The shareables options are super huge for one person, so there is no reason for me to order an entrée. The tenders were so juicy and delicious(and I really hate chicken tenders or boneless wings, as they tend toward dryness). The ribs had a delicious rub and were also incredibly tender. I didn’t try the wings as of this write-up, because it was just too much food. My hubby also enjoyed his meal, but I’ll let him tell you about it for himself. I’m really happy I had a chance to give this place another try. I’m looking forward to working my way through the other menu options.

The prime rib sandwich that I got to go was probably the worst sandwich I’ve ever tasted. The prime rib was salty as was the au jus. The French baguette that held the prime rib was not fresh. I’ve had way better prime rib sandwiches at Quizno’s. Not only was the rib salty but it was dry. The fries were just awful. They just downright sucked. And all that for $ 12.99? That is a gourmet sandwich price but this is not one of them… Not even close! I am usually more lenient with orders to go since the time it takes for you to get home, the food might not taste as good as if it was being served. This sandwich just threw me off entirely.

I’ve been to Beefs a dozen times and never got around to reviewing it, so here goes… Originally, I had never wanted to try a place called«Beef O Bradys,» because it sounds gross. Seriously, it’s got«Beef» in the title. But I went with my boyfriend’s family when they came into town. And since then I have never bought Gville wings from anywhere else. I favor the Beefs on Archer road rather than the one at the Holiday Inn(or University Hotel, w/e it’s called nowadays). It’s next to Cloud 9 Salon and has always been 1⁄5 full every time I’ve gone here. I have never gone to Beefs on game day(sports? whats sports?) and usually go around 5−7pm on a weekday, so go figure. Waitresses are always nice, service is quick, and there is always an arcade game or two for me to play on while I wait for my wings to cook up. NOW, the reason this place is so great is two-fold. One, and least important really, are the curly fries. Who knew curly fries could be so great? They are this orange-brown color, which makes it tastier, and ALWAYS crispy crispy crispy. Nothing is more disappointing than a soggy fry. Two, and the greatest reason of all, is there garlic parmesan original wings. You’re going to want extra sauce on this side. I didn’t know I liked garlic parmesan til I had garlic parmesan. Holy hell, these are addictive. The wings are crispy, but coated in sauce. How is it done? How is it so tasty?! I could eat 10 of these wings, they’re that good. Usually I’m a 4 – 6 wing person, but I could go all day with these babies… Price is great(compared to places like Wing Zone, the second tastiest wing place in Gville), service is good, food is excellent. Based on wings alone, 5 stars. But based on tasting their other foods(appetizer sampler, which has about 5 types of food on it), I have to go 4. (Also, go in before 7PM on a weekday and get AWESOME«happy hour» deals… like half off appetizers, 50c wings, or all-you-can-eat wings)

OK: So the visit tonight was a far better experience than past visits. I just have to remember that if anything here is deep fried — avoid it like the stomach bomb that it will be. Tonight: Cheesburger wrap. Potato salad on the side. I could only eat half of it — so thats a plus. It was really tasty, not over salted. not fried. The gorgeous redhead had the buffalo chicken wrap, and I had a bite of that. Also a win. Not sure I’d eat a whole one, but it was far tastier than most things I have had here before. So — perhaps the menu has improved, or perhaps I have just learned what NOT to order. I’d bump them to 2.5 stars, but since I can’t I have to round up to 3 just to be fair. Oh, and I had a taste of another diner’s sweet potato fries and those were excellent. Its still a chain, and I’d still not choose it outside of some group activity that was scheduled there, but at least I now know there are palatable menu items.

Not the sort of place where we would normally even consider stepping into, but I had the latest Groupon coupon and was feeling adventuresome. BO’B is a family-friendly sports bar. We sat ourselves at a booth and a cheerful waiter was with us in seconds; she was helpful throughout the evening. We started with onion rings, the first fried anything I’ve ordered in years, maybe decades. They were hot, crisp and tasty. We shared two sandwiches, a roast beef Swiss melt and a Philly cheese steak. Both were hot and tasty with meat of good quality. The next time I’m in the mood for a satisfying unhealthy meal at a reasonable price, I’d go back.

OK this is the only review I’ve said this for This place is a freezer to fryer to table. nothing is home or hand made here ! That said. it’s a sports pub.beer.wings.beer and TVs We I go(once a month) their Blue Moon(when they had it on tap) was usually flat, now they’ve changed for Shock Top(absolutely not the same or close to the same as Blue Moon). Service is usually pretty good if you sit in the booths bar side. If you sit in the main dining area good luck getting good service. Seems to be to far for the girls to walk. But we rating the food here. which I said is definitely a Sysco product, everything frozen, and fried(well at least most things).

Good food with bad service is a terrible experience. Cold food with bad service is unforgivable. That is just what I got. I was in Gainesville for a funeral. I was visiting a friend and waiting for the Gator game to start. So we thought we would get wings. With no Buffalo Wild Wings, our choices was limited. Well we show up. There was only a handful of guests. So we thought awesome, this will be quick. Man I cannot tell you how wrong I was. Our waitress had her preppy little nose so far in the air I am not sure how she was able to see to walk. I truly felt if I had a tennis bracelet on, she would have been more prompt. She was with the other the table. Apparently we did not look like big tippers. When our food finally came, my wings were cold. With her cheery attitude, I was already upset. But she never came back to check on us. I guess having two tables were confusing. So I finally walked back to the kitchen and let the cook know myself. She came back and my friend asked her if she was going to charge me for the food. The girl said…“well we got her new ones“ I was done, I never actually ate. I packed the wings up and took them back to my friends. The girl brought us the check and never came back to get it. So my fr

Terribly disappointed I ate there this past Saturday after the Gator game. I was feeling like some wings and happened to be passing by. The place was not busy at all but the service was still very slow. We seated ourselves and our waitress came to get our drink order quickly but after she took our food order we didn’t see her until our food was ready and then not again until it was time to get our check. I did not get any drink refills and needed more ranch but our sever was nowhere The food itself was just as disappointing. In the past years I’ve eaten there boneless wings and the have been a real home-run but that was not the case this time. The wings were very bland, lacked any flavor and were not hot. bottom line: just don’t… If I ever eat at beef-o-brady’s again I wont eat at this location.
