Awesome place! went in on a saturday morning because my phone charging port was not working, I couldn’t charge my phone whatsoever and needed it for a road trip the next day. Apple said it may need to be sent in for a week to replace the whole port which would be very costly, but the kind lady behind the desk (who’s name i forgot, so sorry!) spent about 5 minutes using a tool to clean the port and it works just like it did when i bought it! Since they didn’t charge for this service, i promised i’d be back to buy my iphone six from them.

Awesome service! I went to them as a first time customer and I am very glad I did. They fixed my macbook pro for 100 $ and It was ready the next day, I recieved a quote from another authorized apple retailer in town and was quoted 357 $.I highly recommend them for any apple product repair

In 4 attempts to purchase an Apple product (iPad, MacBook, or iMac) over the years, not once have they actually had the products in stock that they’re advertising on the floor. When I bought my last MacBook I gave in and let them up-​sell me to what they did have in stock. Conveniently enough, what they have in stock always seems to be a more expensive model.

Gatortec is the bomb! They had such friendly staff members at the front desk, who went out of their way to help us with a broken MacBook. They were honest about pricing, exactly on time with their quotes, and even repaired it days faster than they quoted. The level of professionalism and service is very high, and I would recommend gatortec to anyone looking to have quality service done to their apple products. If your product is under warranty, they will do the diagnostic evaluation for free! I will be bringing any future repairs to gatortec!

This was my LAST try at fixing my apple I phone 6 that had frozen up. 2 visits to 2 different Atts (in 2 different cities) and a visit to Best Buy geek squad (that wanted TWICE the price and at least 24 hours). Gator Tec got it done in about 20 min and for ½ the price that geek squad had quoted me. Want to send some LOVE and thanks to this store in Gainesville.

Brought my laptop in, needing a new battery… We had a little confusion (minor bump) but the staff was quick to fix the issue and actually got me my laptop 24hrs faster than originally anticipated. It’s now working great and I couldn’t be happier. Great staff and great prices.

I’ve gone to Gator Tec a couple of times. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. One tech wasn’t helpful. Young guy, with had bad people skills. I have two macs, I brought my 2013 macbook pro under warrantee in. I had to change the thunder port, it didn’t work. And the A key was loose. Kept dislodging. Initially he said he fixed it, along with the thunder-​port. I opened it and the A key still flipped. He said hadn’t noticed it was loose. It was on the repair order. He didn’t want to swap the keyboard. He kept it for another hour or so. Seemed fine, I had to go on a trip out of the country the next day. I was away for several months. He never fixed it. It still flips up and is loose. Now the mac is out of warrantee and I have to deal with this flippin A key.

I only gave it one star because I don’t think I had the option for zero. Took my MacBook Pro to the shop and they did a diagnostic test which was around 60 to 70 dollars. Their conclusion was that my hard drive wasn’t damaged but it was a software issue. I had no backup and asked them if they could recover my data and they said it’s not possible and if I really wanted it I would need to have them send it off to a data recovery place which could cost in the thousands. They told me the next step was reinstall the system which would cost around the same price or more of the diagnostics test. I held off on it and took my laptop back. I took it into a independent shop who recovered my data and installed an updated system for my Mac and put my data on an external drive which i brought to them for 50.00 only! Please be weary before going to this shop and paying lots of money for the minimum or nothing. Apple tech support recommends them because they are an apple certified shop but apparently they don’t know what they are doing or didn’t want to do the work.

My new iPhone 6 Plus failed within the first two weeks. To get a warrenty replacement sent from Apple, I would either have to be without a phone for a few days after sending mine to them or I would have to allow them to put an $ 850 hold on my credit card. The exception to the rule is apparently to go to GatorTec where they were able to order me my replacement phone that could be picked up the next day. Friendly and professional service helped make the switch easy.

So I went into GatorTec a few days ago to get my iPhone replaced under applecare warranty because they are the only apple dealer in the area. My first attempt I was informed that I needed an appointment which is honestly no big deal and is my fault for not checking first. This was however a little irritating because it was me and 4 workers in their showroom and they claimed to be booked for the rest of the day. Fine, no big deal. «Can I schedule and appointment?»… «sorry this must be done over the phone» …(I came here because I have a broken phone). Fine Ill call when I get home from some other phone. I schedule my appointment and return the following day to which I am confronted with the least caring staff member on the planet. If it were only his totally condescending tone and uninterested attitude I would be fine. But I also had to wait 20 minutes after my appointment time for someone to greet me or take my case. Anyways, I finally got my new phone ordered and expected delivery the following day, indicated via email for when I should come in. I never get an email. I decide to call and they inform me that my phone is available. I go in and there is an issue with the phone activating and instead of attempting to trouble shoot or anything, they inform me that it is not their problem and send me to Verizon. Fine. I go to Verizon and I am greeted with splendid customer support as they spent nearby 4 hours helping me solve the issue. After all of this, the verdict was reached that I was sent a faulty phone from Apple. Sucks. I return to GatorTec and I am greeted by the same poor customer relations manager (?) that saw me a few days ago. Without listening to anything I really had to say he simply says we will get apple to send another phone. Because I guess they didn’t have another iPhone in their store. As I am leaving I ask for a receipt to ensure I indeed get my phone. The manager simply responds with «no.» So I am currently waiting to return tomorrow for round 2. Fingers crossed. The store just seemed so poorly run compared to anything I have ever come across in the electronics retail industry, let alone anything related to Apple. I would recommend trying your best to somehow work directly through Apple and circumventing this place all together if at all possible. They do not care about your situation or ensuring that you are satisfied with your service.

Huge selection of Apple products and accessories. Found a great new case for my iPhone 5C. These guys supposedly just opened this location and seemed really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back for more stuff and all my Apple products in the future
