I had to get a quick haircut because I was leaving for a conference in a couple of hours, so I went to Great Clips without looking at Unilocal reviews, which was a huge mistake.
By «quick» haircut I meant a place without much wait and efficient service, not a quick 5 minute haircut where the hairdresser just cuts 3 – 5 single pieces of hair.
Okay, I may be exaggerating a little, but I’ve never seen a hairdresser do such a crappy job with hair. I told her how I wanted the sides, the top, etc. and let’s just say that by the end of my haircut I looked absolutely the same. I don’t even know how that’s possible.
If you’re a guy and you’re looking for a nice haircut, stay away from this place.

i would like to say, i have always gotten a great haircut here. michael is fantastic at what he does. i highly recommend him. if you are needing flat tops carol is great too. the store is clean, well equiped and professional. if you go tell them chris sent you.

but 1 star for the new owner/​manager
I got the opportunity to personally thank the new owner for his elimination of reduced rates for military veterans.
His response a snobby well I’m thick skinned, I can take it, I’m preparing for what Obama is getting ready to do to me.
So he raised their rates, which I have no issue with, but stopped providing a military discount of any sort, even $ 1. His statement it’s because of Obamacare.
Mine, his greed and wanting to ekk out more profits.

Awful. The stylist I got seemed lazy and like she didn’t want to do her job. She made me feel awful for asking for a shampoo and a blow dry. She said there was no full blow dry just a short one where my hair would be a «little» wet. I walked out with dripping hair. I just left and paid because I was so upset with the service. Do NOT come here. Go somewhere else.

The last few cuts have been pretty bad, then the receptionist hung up on me when trying to find out appointment availability. I changed over to Cuttin Up just a couple stores down in the same Publix shopping area. They are way better.

For a quick, efficient, no-​nonsense male cut, this is the place to go. There is rarely a long wait, the stylists are professional and courteous without being overly and annoyingly chatty. Gary is great and knows his stuff, so if you are a guy wanting a quick cut without a lot of hassle, he is the one to ask for.
Also, you can’t beat the price for adult or children’s cuts.
