Terrible first impression. Walked in the door and all the staff was busy. They saw me never bothered to acknowledge me being there or ask me to wait or anything. It was as if I wasn’t even there. That told me they didn’t want my business. They saw me walk out the door and didn’t even bother to acknowledge me at that point. Tells me they don’t care about their customers. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

I purchased my glasses two weeks ago in Texas and realized afterwards that I wanted insurance on my frames and the lenses needed cleaning. I came here and they were able to provide me with free lens cleaning wipes and even cleaned them for me. Excellent service! The guy I worked with was great.

This review is about the retail experience of the LensCrafters store, not the optometry office inside the store. I broke a pair of glasses that I had purchased from LensCrafters with the protection plan. When I came in to have the glasses repaired I was told that new lenses and the same frames would take approximately two weeks to come in. After 5 weeks went by, I called to see what happened. They were unable to get the same frames and fit not call me to let me know. After some emails to corporate and to hone calls, I was told that my lenses were there and that I could come in any time to pick out new frames. When I went in today, I waited nearly an hour and a half to be helped, despite one of the workers pulling my lenses out and placing them at the station where I had been asked to sit. The only other worker there then helped two other customers who came in after I did before getting to me. I waited an hour and 20 minutes before asking someone to just hold the frames so that I could come back later. They needed another employee working and they need better training on customer service period.

It took this office half an hour to determine that they could accept my insurance for an eye check-up exam. I did not care to learn more about them.

I sat on my glasses and needed to get new ones. Not only did I receive excellent care with Shaw Eye Care and Dr. Jennifer Harp and her technician, but the customer service in the retain area was excellent. My eye exam was wonderful and quick. Dr. Harp had things very organized so that while my eyes were dilating I could go into the retail area and find the glasses I wanted. Then her technician/receptionist came and got me when they were ready to continue the exam. Dr. Harp and the tech/receptionist were very friendly and gentle with the exam. I have very sensitive eyes but the exam was not nearly as worrisome or painful as I have had in the past at another clinic. While in the retail side, I worked with Debbie. She was fun and friendly. It was almost like I was shopping with a friend. She listened to me when I said I was on a budget and helped me find glasses within my budget. In the end I worked with all three retail associates. I received such pleasant customer service that I would definitely suggest Lenscrafters at the Oaks Mall to others.
