Can’t I leave a 0 star rating? This was the dirties/​smelliest hotel I’ve ever been in. Our first room smelled like a cigarette convention served with microwaved fish stayed there. We couldn’t breathe and had to go switch rooms. The girl at the front desk moved us to a room two doors down and didn’t seem concerned that our non-​smoking room remakes of cigarette smoke.
While the second room was not as smoky or fishy, it was still nasty and had roaches and the hallway and elevator still smelled like cigarette smoke.
The only reason I stayed at the hotel was I was with a group and we all stayed there.
Next time, I’ll sleep in my car … or a gutter. It’ll be cleaner and better smelling.

Yuck! Dirtiest hotel I have ever encountered. We returned to our room after being out all morning, the door was closed but all the bedding was thrown on the floor. No Maid in sight. I’ve returned to a hotel room in the past to find the door open and a maid cleaning the room, no problem, but why would they go in and toss the beds then leave? Ridiculous!
Floors were filthy throughout, not only in the room but also common areas. Looked like tile had not been mopped for months.
Front desk person was very helpful and polite. Check-​in easy, however that doesn’t make up for the rest of the hotel issues.

I made reservations at this hotel online and they incorrectly charged me for the wrong dates before I even stayed there, so I called the manager to explain that things were incorrect and he said that I was a considered a no show and that it was not his problem anymore. I was still willing to pay for the correct weekend but he said there was nothing he could do, which I found ridiculous since it was not even my fault. This place has the worst customer service and a rude manager that did nothing to help the situation.

I am working in Gainesville for about a month or so and for the first 2 weeks I stayed at the Quality/​Rodeway inn (They’re owned by the same person.)Some of the rooms were clean enough, although some were down right filthy, but it was nice enough for the pricing (Unless any event whatsoever was in town, a dog show shouldn’t make rooms cost$ 140 a night) The real problem with this hotel was the management and the owners. They were horribly rude and would ignore people for no reason it seemed. I came back from work a few days to find the room not cleaned and no new towels. The wifi was pretty quick and the area is nice but the rude management just turned me off. Would not recommend.
